Coy is a wonderful manager and trainer! I really can't say enough good things about Coy. He is extremely kind and personable. He bends over backwards to make sure everything is clean and repairs are made in a timely manner.
This had been sadly lacking since I became a member, over a year ago.
I actually started Personal training with Coy,as did my son. We were struck by his kindness when listening to him train a gentleman when we were there and decided to give it a try.

Weights often left scattered around gym, lack of employees to regulate this behavior. Additionally most weights that are returned to rack are overlapped, meaning 35’s block 25’s and 10’s will be block 45. People abuse the fact that there is not someone watching at all times.

Been trying to get ahold of this place for 6 months to cancel my membership. They never answer during business hours. Update they answered and said I have to come to the gym to cancel my membership when I live 2.5 hours away. So I have to waste a whole day and a tank of gas for a business that won’t even answer so I can know they’ll be there when I show up😭

No one answers the phone or responds to my email for me to get a key... but they take out your money within seconds of signing up.
At the time I wrote this review, they did not have a manager and I was not aware, I had went to Moundsville to get a key fob and they recently hired a manager... so potentially the same problem will not continue. But my experiance at the gym has been very positive and the new manager reached out to me to make sure my key issue was solved.

I have tried to get my key fob twice now. I have called multiple times during their office hours and driven down there thinking that maybe they were just on the floor. Nope. I drive by this gym almost every day and think " man I sure wish I could work out there". I can't wait until James Parsons replies to my emails or answers the phone whenever I call him so I can get my key fob. Great place to workout! Members have 24/7 access to all anytime fitness locations. This location is nicely renovated, clean, and staff are friendly. There are 3 showers here, a tanning bed (requires special sign up), treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, rowing machine, stair climbing machine, and a host of weight lifting machines. Their free weights are great. There are quite a few power racks,dumbbells and barbells galore, and a great selection of plates.

Anytime fitness has been more than awesome for me in many ways. The manager always takes time to see how you're doing, if there is anything else you need with a smile on her face. Joey is more than willing to find the right exercises and routine you need to do if you have any disabilities which I do. Kim has been training me and always monitoring my work out and changing out exercise to comindate with my back. There is always laughter and a good time at this gym and even all the other members are encouraging you on your journey to better health. Needless to say I LOVE this gym and all the wonderful people that work there.

I have been a memeber if anytime Fitness for roughly almost a year. This place has become like a second home to me. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming, including the staff. The manager, Michelle, is one of the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered. She’s always there to welcome you with a smile, and is happy to help with anything you may need. Michelle has made some of my bad days better, by giving me so many compliments and being the KIND person she is. She and Joey are very welcoming and make it a point to have conversations with most every member that steps foot in the door. I’ve recently started training with Joey, and I’m more than pleased with the workouts and results I am getting. He makes training fun and pushes you every step of the way. The staff at the gym could not be any better. They encourage and motivate everyone. On a last note, Anytime Fitness New Martinsville is also the cleanest gym I have EVER been to. It’s always well kept and very, very clean. It makes you not want to workout any other place. I’m super pleased to be a member here and encourage everyone who’s not, to join. :)
