About a month ago, I walked through the front doors at Orangetheory Morgantown like many people who find themselves returning to a gym, it followed a run of hard moments, some tough times, and a heartbreak or two… Its always those types of life moments when you know something has to change if you want to find direction and purpose again. I had no idea what to expect, and honestly, I was a little nervous about starting over.
Before my tennis shoes even have time to step onto the ceramic floor tiles inside, the staff behind the welcome desk are already smiling and calling me by name. And although I could talk for hours about how effective the classes are, or how the workouts somehow push you hard and build you up at the same time, what has had the biggest impact on me has been the human experience. As cliché as it might sound, every day I show up feels like a real “thing of the Spirit.”
Throughout every workout, even though I am nowhere close to the bulkiest or most athletic person in the room, the coaches have an incredible ability to make me feel like I am the most important person there. Like everything in life, it is the people who take something good and turn it into something great. That is exactly what Coach Lily, Coach Lucas, and Coach Alexis have done for me. Every single time I step into that studio, they make it feel less like a workout and more like the best therapy session I have ever been to.
If you are on the fence, or starting from ground zero like I was, this place, and these people, will change the way you show up for yourself.

I am as beginner as beginner can be when it comes to exercising. I have been to 4 classes so far and have loved them. Though I’ve only been to classes with Coach Lucas (who is great), everyone I’ve met is extremely nice and helpful. From what I’ve seen, this is a no judgement,, all support zone. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking about starting to workout,, but needs the motivation of a group!

I am new to OTF. I’ve been strength training for a while but did little to no cardio training. OTF has humbled me!! If you’re new to exercise or if you feel like you’re in a rut or bored with your current routine, definitely give it a try. The coaches are all so friendly! The facility is clean, and the equipment is in great shape. Even though it is expensive, I feel it is worth the cost given the benefits. Your first class is free, so there’s no harm in trying it out!

I enjoy the ease of access from the app and the accountability of pre-scheduling my classes. My favorite part is constantly seeing non-scale victories. The monitoring shows the improvements you’re making with your cardiovascular health and endurance and gives you a visual to continually push you in order to keep reaching the orange zone as you progress, ensuring you will continue to grow instead of plateau. Although challenging, there’s no pressure to compete with anyone but yourself. You get a thorough work out every time and it’s great for someone who wants to start lifting but maybe doesn’t know how. The coaches teach, push and encourage in the best ways possible, especially Coach Rob. I’m grateful to have an Orange Theory Fitness.

I’ve been an athlete since I was 12 years old. I’ve joined many gyms throughout my lifetime and have to say this is the best! I absolutely love the fact that we’re coached through every workout and don’t have to figure out what we’re doing next. I go every other day and no two workouts have been the same. I have only been going to Orangetheory for a month and I am already in love!
I am one of the 5:00 am members and I can tell that the energy of the group members is something I look forward to when I get up from bed every morning.
The coaches and staff members are super friendly and encouraging, always checking on you, making sure that everything is going well and pushing you to give your best.
Lastly, I personally was never a big fan of cardio or endurance exercises (STILL NOT :p) and I was always afraid to join classes and not be able to match the energy and fitness levels of the class but OTF will make you feel good with whatever fitness level you’ve got!!!

Been going almost a year now, really good cardio workout, friendly attentive coaches. You buy orangetheory heart monitor and basically you use it to push yourself and go all out during the workout, so you don't burn out too quickly. For best results 3 times a week with strength training in between. Unrelated getfit (fitness shake and smoothie joint) is right next door and offers a discount for orangetheory customers, and is a great way to finish your workout.

Went here for my first class yesterday and had such an amazing experience. Everyone was kind and informative. They had a cute welcome sign on my paperwork, the facility is beautiful and they had it decorated for Samhain. They have these heart trackers, so you can see your progress. I had a great coach and got some awesome results out of the class. While it is an investment it is worth every penny. I look forward to becoming an active member.

I joined Orange Theory Morgantown in December of 2019 and have continued my membership over the last two years and eight months. This is the longest I’ve ever stayed an active member at a gym. Prior to joining OTF, there were Plenty of times I would pay for a membership and not attend. I wasn’t convinced I’d like the setup of the workouts when my friend convinced me to sign up, but I was completely sold after the first week. The team is welcoming and there is an atmosphere of community. The workouts are addicting and there is truly a feeling of missing out on days I don’t attend. The workouts can be as intense or light as you wish to adjust them. On days I’m tired, I walk on the tread and lighten my weights on the weight floor. There’s a degree of intensity that fits everyone and enough mixture of individuals at different levels of fitness that you’re not uncomfortable. I love OTF Morgantown and the team that motivates me to keep going.

Orangetheory Fitness is the best fitness facility I have used in years! The combination of running, rowing and weight training captures all of your workout needs in one stop shop! The facility is open 7 days a week with multiple work out times to fit anyones schedule. If you struggle with not knowing what to do for a workout - no worries! The instructors do an excellent job of guiding you through each block of the workout every day. There is no guesswork on what you should/need to do. Want to know what Heart Rate (HR) zone you’re in? Or how hard you are working? They’ve got you covered. You wear a HR monitor during the workout that shows on a screen so you can see live results. You also get an email with your workout Summary. Sweet! The Coaches will push you too! They care about you making progress! If they think you can do heavier weight - they will encourage you to go heavier. 😉 Don’t like to run? Walk on the tread. They also have a bike and strider. Have an injury? Modify your workout. I mean they have it all! OTF accommodates all fitness types. The Coaches ensure you enjoy class. Lots of fun and laughs. I absolutely LOVE Orangetheory Fitness. I get the best workout every time I go. I’ve been a member since they opened in 2019 and love my Morgantown OTF family. So what are you waiting for?? The orange zone is one of my favorite happy zones! Morgantown Orangetheory Fitness is so much more than a workout. It has become a way of life! The workouts are challenging but fun. At the suggestion of my daughter, an OTF member in Cincinnati, I joined OTF Morgantown as an Elite member when the studio opened in 2019. I had no idea what to expect; but knew I needed to work on improving my health and fitness. I might add I’ve never liked to exercise either, but I figured twice a week was a reasonable goal. With the exception of my lengthy pandemic break and a recent vacation to a place without a studio (Hey Matt and Alissa, want to think about opening a studio in St. Thomas, USVI?), I’ve been to class twice a week. All of the coaches (but especially Rob, Shayla, Erin and Matt) are great. I cannot begin to describe the level of positivity they bring to each class. They’ve managed to encourage an exercise-dyslexic 60+ person to keep coming to class and get into that orange zone. Some days/classes are tougher than others, but if I can do it, I’d say anyone can. The coaches will help you modify exercises if you need to, so the workout can work for you. While Sports Illustrated isn’t going to be looking me up for their next swimsuit issue and I haven’t lost an incredible amount of weight, I’m stronger, lighter and much healthier.
Investing in yourself is always a good thing, and OTF makes it easier to do!

OT has been a game changer for me. It has provided me the fun and challenging workouts that I wanted and needed. I love cardio work outs so I assumed I could succeed but I have come to love the weights as well. I have developed more muscle mass and tone then ever expected. There is nothing more satisfying then a compliment not on how thin you are but how tone and muscular you are. I have lost weight too which for women over 50 is bonus because it only gets harder to loose. I have gained new friendship since joining and I get to work out with my daughter several times a week. I would encourage anyone to try a class. It is fun, self paced, challenging and makes you accountable. Oh!! I can’t forget the coaches. They all are incredible. They make it even more fun and truly care about each one of us. OT is always changing and making my workouts better even after almost 2 years!

This is by far the best place in Morgantown to work out. A different routine everyday and the instructors keep everyone pumped and giving it their all. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend trying it out if you have never been. On a scale from 1 to 10, I give it an “All Out!!”

I LOVE OTF and the Morgantown studio! All of the coaches are awesome and inspiring. The studio is very well set up and I love the options for class times! Some studios I visit don't have the 730 amclass for example and I LOVE that time! Everyone is so friendly and the workout is truly individualized to each of our own fitness levels seamlessly. I didn’t think I would like Orangetheory because I don’t like group exercise but much to my surprise I love it! It’s not at all like I thought it would be and now hate to miss it! Orangetheory got me back on a workout routine which I had taken a break from for a while. I love the immediate feedback and love getting on my app to see my progress and see how well developed my “pyramid” is after each workout. The coaches are wonderful and their soundtracks are inspiring which is such an important part of the workout! Thanks to my daughter for getting me to Orangetheory! She’s a great coach I might add!

I love OTF Morgantown. I was hesitant to join at first, as I let myself go during COVID. However, from day one, the Coaches made me feel comfortable. They push you at your own pace and want to see you meet your personal goals. Everything about OTF works for me- the format (2G/3G), the exercises, schedule, group workout setting and their supportive staff. Coach Shayla and RA Cassie can’t be beat!! Orangetheory Morgantown is awesome. I have been a member for several years and I am consistently very happy, if not thrilled, with my experience. The facility is top notch and always clean (all areas), the staff is very responsive and professional while maintaining a family feel, and the class times offered are varied and convenient. It does get booked up, but I see that as a positive as it shows how exceptional their service is. For people that have complained about limited times available, I would suggest trying something simple, like planning ahead. The coaches are awesome, the workouts are challenging, and there is always something happening in regards to promotions, challenges, and community support opportunities. Having been to several Orangetheory gyms around the country, this one is definitely a shining example on how to run fitness based business.

I hated any type of physical activity my entire life, until I started OrangeTheory in February 2022. I love the 1-hour group workout model where everything is structured for you for optimal results. I burn, on average, 600 calories each session while actually enjoying the workout since every session is very different so you never know what you are going to get until you are there. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Orangetheory Morgantown is an amazing place for a workout- whether you are an athlete or a beginner. The atmosphere is supportive for all levels and abilities. I find the workouts to be challenging and the coaches to be extremely supportive. They offer excellent guidance on form for the weight floor and rower. The whole studio vibe is energetic and the hour long workouts fly by. I love that the coaches all get to know every participant by name- it’s hard not to keep pushing yourself when the coach is noticing how hard you are working! You don’t have to be a runner to join, however I do run outside of class every day and find the workouts to be a great supplement to my training. The air conditioned studio is especially nice for working out on hot summer days and also on icy/cold winter days! If you are looking for something different to get you out of a rut with your normal workout routine, or if you are looking to make a positive change in your life- I highly recommend OTF Morgantown and hope to meet you in class someday!
