Black card is worth it, just buy it and enjoy the massages and the additional amenities.

All that said, I will refer to my visit yesterday, May 18th, 2024. While I was enjoying a massage table session, a young woman walked in, and I will spare you the details of her physical attributes. Let's just say she CLEARLY didn't practice a healthful lifestyle.

With vape pen palmed in her hand, she took a draft, exhaled as she entered the massage table room, and then flopped on the table. She turned her phone up full volume, and began to have a yelling conversation with someone on the other end of the call, trying to out-shout the noise of the massage table. I rose up to see what was going on and why I was gasping for air from the vape smoke, stopped my session, and got the heck out of there.

Those of us who like healthy lifestyles join gyms because we can be healthy together, exercise together, encourage one another, and take our lifestyles out in front of public so people can learn from us. Silver Sneaker members like us enjoy the social experience.

If this practice of ignoring customer rudeness does not stop, Planet Fitness will lose two members at least. My wife did not opt for the massage tables because she, like me, is very sensitive to smoke and vape, and we are actually quite offended by its presence.

Rudeness occurs in life. It's up to the Planet Fitness staff to detect this rudeness and to take the appropriate action. I hope they're up to the task.

I also wrote to PF Corporate about this problem, suggesting adding SMOKE DETECTORS geared for cigarette/vape smoke to all areas where offenders practice their habit. Triton manufactures such a device and it belongs in the locker rooms, in the tanning rooms, and in the massage areas. More signage with warnings of "terminated membership" can be visibly-placed. It's time to take-back our health and remind all to be polite.

I recently joined Planet Fitness, and I have to say, it’s been an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel welcome. The facility is spotless, with well-maintained equipment and plenty of machines, so I never have to wait long during my workouts.

What I love most is the judgment-free zone atmosphere. It’s truly a place where people of all fitness levels can feel comfortable working toward their goals. The variety of equipment, spacious layout, and extra amenities like massage chairs and tanning beds make it a fantastic value for the price.

This place is amazing I love everything they have the black card is the way to go! Tanning hydrogel massages and chair massages along with total body enhancement! 2 kinds of tanning beds lay down or stand up! And lots of work out equipment! There staff is amazingly nice! We moved to Fairmont from Dallas and needed to find a gym! After touring many an option, Planet Fitness was the winner hands down. I was looking for cleanliness, ease of use, a cardio rowing machine, massage chair options, and a diverse community and staff (PF was the only one gym we found with BIPOC) Bringing my daughter for free every time (a perk of the “Black Card” membership) has been a surprise bonding experience for us. Excellent place to go, I would give 5 stars but their lay down bed has a 12 minute max limit and the other locations allow a 15 minute max limit. Their lay down bed also has a facial bulb out. The employees are really nice and are always either checking people in or cleaning something, I've not seen them just standing there very often at all like at some locations.

Not sure if I like this gym or not. I do like the fact that it is very nice and clean, well organized, the staff are professional. It just feels nice in general to be in there. On the other hand, if you are serious about strength training, this gym is not for you. The lack of equipment is obvious. There's mostly cardio machines, no real squat racks, barely any barbells and dumbbells, zero deadlift stations. A lot of the machines in there don't feel right either. It is one of the most affordable gyms so I guess you get what you pay for

If I could rate lower than 1 star I would. Every employee were extremely rude. They were not helpful at all. My husband just had a heart catheterization done and was wanting to ask the personal trainer which equipment would be best for him to start on. After talking with the personal trainer there, he sent my husband over to the counter to leave his number for the personal trainer. Rudely she says and pointed to the personal trainer. He informed her he was leaving in 2 weeks. When we got done exercising I wanted to go back to the tanning bed, hydro table and massage chair. I was stopped rudely by one of the girls at the front desk telling me I had to make an appointment to use the rooms in the back. After thinking about our experience my husband and I both thought we were treated very badly for our first time there. My husband tried calling the manager but she was just as rude as the rest of the employees. The manager said well you have only been here one time and if you don’t like how you were treated then you don’t have to come back. We asked to cancel the membership we were told we had to send a certified letter. The manager proceeded to tell my husband that we could go ahead and cancel because they already got our payment. WOW!!!! Is all I can say about this experience. Proceed with caution when heading to the Fairmont location. My husband and I won’t go back!!
Got a call back today basically discriminating against my husband who not only is a retired Veteran who served both Army and Navy for 22 years. He’s also a nurse of 20 years and recently passed his National Board exam to be a Medicolegal Investigator/Coroner. My husband was told today by the facility that we were the one’s being rude and loud. Honestly I’ve never been to a gym that was that quiet. Just for the record I have no idea what we were doing to be loud!!
WOW!!! This review keeps getting longer.
Hopefully no other Veterans will be treated this way by this company.

I love that they’ve opened this gym in Fairmont wish they would have had one when I went to college here.
Nice equipment. Very clean per usual for planet fitness. Employees are nice and helpful. The only thing I would change is that they get a scale so men and women can monitor they’re weight improvement. As a nomad I don’t own a scale, but I sure I do appreciate when I go to the gym and they have one.
