Pretty good place to workout and it’s generally not too busy. Everyone minds their own business, but if someone were to need held with something (like a spot) there’d be people kind enough to help. The staff are all courteous and kind. The bathrooms are clean and well kept. The lockers are adequately secure. The water fountains are sufficient and clean. The machines are all in excellent working condition. My only wish is that there were free standing weights, but of course that’s not part of any planet fitness I’ve ever been to. If you’re wanting to do massive powerlifting stuff, like, competitive level, it’s not the gym for you probably, but cardio, regular lifting and the like are covered. The “pro” features are all good too, and are in great shape and clean. I have cancelled my membership before due to moving away and cancellation is formal but easy.

Really pleased with the staff and facilities here. Everything is so clean and inviting and every staff member I encountered is so nice and helpful!
This location has a tremendous number of machines for a smaller space.
I love that the massage chairs and tanning are down a separate hallway. It makes for a more relaxing experience.
I would love some more drink options (Body Armor please ;) and I wouldn't complain if the changing rooms had doors instead of curtains. But that really is being nit picky and I have no complaints. Can't wait to go back!

Definitely my favorite gym in the local area! It was a bit of a hassle to get signed up and to get the correct membership applied (I qualified for a discount) but I was able to get it sorted out. Very clean and not overly crowded either. The staff is very friendly as well. I like how they have individual changing rooms in the locker room, as I don't see this at all locations.

I come here daily and always clean the equipment when I’m finished. After I got off the treadmill An older lady made a point to walk across the gym and ask me to please clean the equipment when I’m finished. I absolutely cleaned the treadmill after I was finished. My friend was running beside me and saw me clean it. Kind of rude. I see people daily who actually don’t clean and follow rules and nobody has ever said anything to them yet I get accused of not cleaning when I did.

First visit to this location as I travel for work and have been for a few months now. After scanning in I was told I have to fill out a paper with my name, email and home gym location. I asked about since I have never had to do this at any other location I’ve been at while traveling the past 6 months?? That’s whatever. The gym was very clean so cannot complain there. Later I noticed the employee that made me fill out the paper walking past a few times and totally ignored the 2 guys working out, one of which wearing boots and jeans, the other other wearing sandals? All of which is “prohibited”. Later on while on the treadmill there was one gentleman slamming the weights down on 2 different machine (EACH REP and multiple sets) with no one saying anything to him. So they pick and chose which police’s to enforce. Or just don’t like out of towners?

Just had a great workout in PF but the TV monitor where I always do my elliptical workout didn't have FOX NEWS on it anymore. When I asked them why it had been removed they said someone complained about it. While I understand that some people want to ignore that rights of others, I don't understand why PF would want to remove this station when other members want to watch it. Please put Fox News back in the monitor to the right of monitor 11. I don't care what they watch and they don't have the right to have what I watch removed. Fox News is only on one monitor now. Consider this a complaint PF from a member for years.

Doesn't answer phone, doesn't return calls. I accidentally signed up at the wrong gym (not sure how when I put in my zipcode and clicked my local gym but that's neither here nor there). The gym I want to be my home gym said in order to switch to them I either have to drive there (30+ min drive depending on this traffic in the area) or call... I've called for 3 days now and no one from that gym EVER picks up, it goes straight to a vm, with no call back.

Update: Finally answered the phones after 4 days of calling. What should have been really simple was in fact made way more complicated than it needed to be, but did/ well get corrected.

This Planet Fitness is in Liberty Square and I went inside to inquire about membership options. Since I am traveling a lot I have noticed that they are every where. What I need. Bryson greeted me, showed and told me about the membership options. Then he switched with Beth, who took me on a tour of the facility. The whole facility was very clean, especially the women's locker room, showers and toilettes.
Beth also pointed out that they do have 4 physical therapy work-out machines and is very proud to have them. Both were so good at what they do that I signed up that day! Good job!

Safe location with ample parking. The facility is kept clean. Efficient use of space. Large variety of quality equipment.
Unfortunately there are some patrons who think they don’t need to wipe down the machines before & after use, in spite of signs posted throughout the facility suggesting to do so. Also, sadly there are some patrons who think they can expect a machine they just finished with to sit empty while they use another machine & then return.

As far as Planet Fitness goes, this is one is quite clean, well lit, and offers a fair bit of equipment --not the biggest I've been in but not the smallest either. Mens locker was legitimately clean which I appreciate as a traveler, I keep a PF membership just for travel purposes as they often have a wide distribution of locations anywhere you go.

Now, it is a PF so it's heavily cardio oriented. There are a few redundant weight machines per exercise but they're quite scattered, some fall in their little 30 minute circuit area so keep that in mind when looking.

Overall, great PF. If you're lifting a bit heavier, want more free weights, or want more diversity in your workouts, as you may or may not already know, PF might not be your best choice. I'm no power lifter or body builder by any means and I nearly max out some options, so definitely check before signing up. For me it's good enough to give me a better than hotel gym exercise when out of town vs not workout out at all.

Been a member here since spring.

The good - friendly staff, nice location, clean facility.

The Ok - lots of cardio equipment. Which is not a bad thing but probably a little too much. Most weight machines have duplicate machines but not all. It is becoming more difficult to use certain machines though because of this as membership grows.

The bad - the temperature. I come in early most days and it is frigid sometimes. Then you have the fans blowing overhead and the cool air. It’s gotten me sick 3 times since joining. It’s not just me. Talked to another member and mentioned this and they’ve had it happen there too.

Also, the spray bottle stations although nice and located conveniently can be a problem as well. If you’re on the treadmill breathing and someone goes to one of these stations near you and they go to town with a bottle it can be hard to breathe. I counted a lady near me spray two paper towels 20 times soaking them. Odor was too strong. Had to get off treadmill and move.

Been thinking about looking around for other options. Not quite there yet but if the trend continues not sure. Hopefully they don’t crank the heat up come fall and winter and roast us instead of freezing.

As a traveler, this was a really welcoming Planet Fitness. It had a very similar feel to other planet fitnesses in terms of the design and the layout of the place, however the friendly staff and guests did make this planet fitness a little better. My only nitpicky complaint is that the planet fitness did not have the monkey bars. Overall, it was a really nice location and a nice experience working out here.

Very basic but has enough stuff. I like how this one has kettle bells and a scale in the bathroom. I’ve been to other that don’t. I appreciate how I’ve never heard the link alarm at this location. That’s the one thing that is super ridiculous. I’ve been to planet fitnesses that would sound it at the littlest of sounds coming from the lifting area. Well when you have smith machines and adjustable benches sometimes it’s hard not to make a sound. I actually think the lunk alarm is super judgmental
