I actually had a wonderful experience here. I go every morning at 7am and there's no children running around acting a fool and hogging the machines and free weights. The staff was not only amazing but all of them were on the same page. I used the hydromassage, the stand up tanning bed, and then I leave. This place can really rock if you come at the right time

Very clean. The front counter staff is very helpful. Plenty of parking. The parking lot is huge. The bathrooms and locker rooms are exceptionally clean. Almost every person I’ve seen use a machine cleans it after they’re done. Get the Black Card - the massage chairs are the best part 🤣

Overall a good experience. There are a few locker doors that are falling off the hinges. Equipment appears to be maintained. In my visits the paper towels and cleaner solution has only been empty once suggesting they do keep on top of it.

My only gripe is that I wish it was at the Suncrest Town Center instead of out at Cheat Lake.

I’m deeply disappointed by the racism I experienced at Planet Fitness today. I walked in and asked to speak with John, only to have the front desk clerk tell me that he had already left for the day. Less than a minute later, I saw John walk to the front of the store, and that same clerk who had just told me John was gone casually said goodbye to him. It was clear that I was lied to, and unfortunately, I can’t help but feel that it was because of the color of my skin. No one should have to experience this kind of discrimination—especially in a place that claims to be a ‘Judgment Free Zone.’ This is unacceptable, and I hope Planet Fitness takes action to ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

It has several machines and the facility is pretty clean overall. However they got rid of their weight scales because I guess it was too "judgemental" and they do not currently have a trainer even though the app/your membership comes with it. I was told they will have a trainer March 24th.

This is one of the rare planet fitnesses that doesn't blare the alarm at you for every little thing you do while working out. I've been to a planet fitness that kicked my friend out for doing pistol squats. They said he was showing off. I feel this location here wouldn't have done that.

Always friendly staff.
Everything I have seen has been clean.
Large planet fitness compared to many I have been to in other cities.
Great variety of machines and equipment as far as planet fitness goes.
Only time it’s ever to busy to get in a proper workout is peak time; after work on weekdays like 3:30-6, but everyone should know that already.
Only downside I have seen is so minor and is that there are many locker doors in the mens locker-room that are very broken/barely hanging on the mount.

It’s crazy how they have FIVE (rude) college kids working at a time and yet the paper towels are ALWAYS empty! The employees are always standing behind the front desk; not once have I seen anyone cleaning or refilling anything. And the cleanliness of the bathrooms reflect that. Disgusting. I’ve been going to this gym almost 6 months and not once had any employee said “Hi” or “Welcome”. Considering canceling my membership because what are you even paying these people for.

I am an OTR truck driver with a black card membership, and when I pulled off here to use the gym there where signs posted at entrances, "absolutely no trucks allowed, & $1000 fine for trucks not delivering to the businesses in the surrounding parking lot."

I just left the club, I have to agree with the other postings this place is disgusting when it comes to the bathrooms but especially the showers, and when you constantly read the response , e-mail ,speak with manager who is a major part of the problem, not doing their job. The garbage in this picture has been accumulating for weeks ,clump of hair, bars of soap etc..The Shower dial in another shower doesn’t work. Freezing water or to hot has been going on for years and the water bottle filler is not working again for the third time in weeks along with toilet urinal.

Showers & bathrooms haven't been kept up during the past 3 months, the handicap shower during the past three weeks same clip of hair, white bar of soap, blue bar of soap, bar soap wrapper and white powder, etc smells bad. Water issues for years either it is to hot or freezing. Small shelf with three hooks, two out of three have been missing for years. Locker bottoms are beyond filthy.
Last Sunday their was one male staff member who stood behind the counter and threw a ball about 15 feet off the ground against the wall during the two hours i was there. Snow removal is beyond bad. Either the franchise owner never inspects his business or doesn't care. Don't ask me to email you, do something about it!

I go here a few times a week. The machines are great, they are kept and cleaned well. The showers on the other hand are gross and the water temperature is either freezing or scalding . I've complained several times, I know several people who have as well, but they aren't properly cleaned nor fixed.

The staff does all they can to keep people happy. I like the hammer strength machines.

As a part of their equipment change out this last year, they have replaced much of the equipment, with the exception of the stair climbers, ellipticals, and treadmills. They replaced the hammer strength.

This gym can be crowded. If you're looking for an after workout massage, good luck. Watch the crowd meter and try to go when there's two bars or less. If you're a three bars, you're probably not going to get much.

Wow. The showers here are amazing! Rain showers heads and side spray heads! Extremely large, fully tiled, and very private! I have been to over 20 different planet fitness locations and I have never seen anything like the showers here. Very impressive and very nice. Something I would expect to see in a high class spa, not a planet fitness.

I love this gym, its my home gym and the people are so friendly (all of them are to an extent but night shift is where its at!) And the place is always very clean, maybe was showers are a bit iffy at times but overall still clean. I know this isn't the gyms fault but as a consistent gym goer, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ALWAYS WIPE OFF EQUIPMENT BEFORE YOU USE IT!!!! When I say this place is kept clean, I mean CLEAN clean. I have been to PFs all over the country and this one is by far the cleanest. These employees are constantly cleaning!

Not only is it kept clean, but the staff is so friendly! Sam, Sarah S, Gabby, PJ, Parker, Owen and Leanne always greet me by name and hype me up to get a good workout in. I actually look forward to coming in.

I couldn’t figure out how to work my new headphones one day and Parker was quick to help me figure it out.

Marc the trainer is really good about instructing you on any exercises you are unfamiliar with. If you have any questions, he is glad to help you out.

Give this maniger a raise for tolerating abuse and having a camera shoved in his face by an over emotional member. He kept it cool and handled the situation calm and entertaining. The hot water at the Morgantown, WV facility has not worked properly for six weeks. This is inexcusable. When I ask about it, I’m told they’re “working on it”. There seems to be no problem charging fees every month, but they can’t fix the hot water. Absolutely ridiculous.

I think the best part about this place is the hours though. It's almost always open. They also have a locker room and showers, which is amazing for when you need to bust out a routine and get to work.
The place gets a lot of static for being the "McDonalds of gyms" but I dig it.
It's cheap af. They have almost all the equipment I could ask for (though a hack squat machine would kick @$$).
I really don't have many complaints besides the place being crowded and the facilities aren't always maintained the best.
Though, for 24$ a month, it pretty much kills it.

Loved going here to lay in the tanning bed but anymore the beds and rooms in my hometown are getting nastier I don't believe the floors have been swept out in probably months edited 4/11/22 I tried to let the front staff know and they don't seem to care I can't even put lotion on anymore bc the beds start before I can get the beds and stuff cleaned off.. here is a few pics look how nasty the sinks are to wash your hands and the amount of hair and dust back in the tanning room. Really starting to think it's time to moves my membership else where.

This gym is insanely crowded during peak hours. Avoid going between 5pm-7pm because the gym is filled with a bunch of young ignorant college gym bruhs who rudely hog multiple machines and pieces of equipment at once.

Looking to get a quick workout in? Forget about it. These college kids come in groups hogging equipment as well which is quite irritating.

Even at non peak times, this gym is full of people.
