*9/29/25 update; 10/10 highly recommend! I’m still loving this workout and all of the formats they offer! I have taken 360 classes to date and it is always challenging. I love to mix and match the formats for what my body needs everytime I walk into the studio! The instructors are all wonderful. Alissa, Brittany, and Maddie push me with killer classes on the regular! Still love the community, the classes, the vibe, and the space!

The community class feel is so welcoming, supportive, and challenging all at once. I love the well rounded, fast paced, and fun workout. Its benefited my physical and mental health incredibly. I look forward to my class each day! The instructors are very knowledgeable, friendly, and push you to do your best each class. Alex, Caraline, and Maddie seem to be the ones I take the most! They all have excellent classes filled with killer playlists, plenty of burn, and a full body workout! All of the instructors are talented and bring their own flare to the class. I’ve been a member a little over a year now. This has been the only thing that has kept me consistently active for this long. I’ve recommended pure barre to everyone I know. I’ve seen such a difference in my body and my strength, but also my posture has gotten so much better! Pure Barre Morgantown is a great place to get a workout. I love the different class types they offer and how often they change up the routine. I also like how there is always a monthly challenge with the option to win a prize. It keeps me motivated to keep coming and working out. The instructors also give nice alternatives to the exercise if you need it harder or easier.

i love pure barre!!! i loved doing work out classes at the wvu rec and i needed to find somewhere post graduation to continue doing classes and im so glad i found pure barre!! from the moment i walked in everyone was so kind and welcoming! everyone there makes sure to remember your name and encourages you when you’re doing great work! i appreciate that they aren’t scared to correct your form or help you out! i’ve only taken 12 classes so far but im excited every week to do more!

Since joining Pure Barre, I've realized that I don’t want to return to a regular gym. It’s a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable working to strengthen their bodies. I have gained so much confidence thanks to the instructors who help me with my posture and workout routines. The energy in the studio is electric! I enjoy working out there 4 to 5 times a week, and I never get bored because each class has different choreography. Pure Barre is my first type of barre classes I’ve ever been to. It has changed the way I view exercising and has dramatically helped me manage my autoimmune disease through low-impact exercise and strength training, as well as improving my flexibility and mobility. I have been taking classes for over a year now. The classes are challenging but so much fun! I do not recommend PB Morgantown due to poor management.
When I first joined PB, I genuinely enjoyed it — the environment was supportive, and I made great connections with others who cheered me on, just as I did for them. However, over time, I noticed a shift. Instructors began to come and go frequently, and the overall atmosphere started to change.

Unfortunately, reaching out to the owner or manager doesn’t lead to any meaningful changes. While they may listen, nothing seems to improve. It also feels like the studio’s focus has shifted away from building a strong community and toward acquiring new members. This makes the already high price even harder to justify.

It’s disappointing to feel that long-time members are no longer valued the way they should be.

This gym used to be one of my favorite places to go, but unfortunately it has completely changed. I used to look forward to going on any days I had off, and even referred friends and coworkers to join. The management has become unprofessional and it shows in the way the atmosphere has shifted. What used to feel like a supportive and welcoming community now feels uninviting. Instead of looking forward to my workouts like I used to, I find myself dreading going because the environment just isn't the same. It's disappointing honestly to see a place that once motivated and inspired me lose the qualities that made it special :(

I would not recommend this Pure Barre studio. The environment here feels toxic and unwelcoming, with little regard for the members who keep the place running. Instead of fostering a supportive, encouraging community, the staff often come across as disrespectful. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy is disappointing, especially considering how much members invest in their health, time, and money to be here. There are plenty of fitness spaces that treat their clients with kindness and respect—unfortunately, this is not one of them. This gym fosters a toxic environment that is incredibly disheartening—truly one of the most damaging and discouraging experiences a woman can have in a fitness space.

It has a very involved owner, great manager, friendly front desk staff, and personable trainers. Pure Barre Classic is always the go to class, but now, Define and Empower have also been added with the opportunity to mix it up. I can’t say enough great things about Pure Barre Morgantown. Everyone there is so welcoming. The instructors and staff have created such a positive environment that I really enjoy coming to every class, even though they are always so challenging. The instructors actually take time to know your name- and there is nothing like an encouraging shout out when those legs start shaking!! Alex’s 5:30PM classes deserve a special mention- when you hear Gaga you know she is going to kick your butt in the best way!!!! From my first class with Gabbie to the upcoming Empower classes, I am looking forward to seeing what comes next at this wonderful place.

Pure Barre is amazing for anyone that is new to barre or who has experience. All the instructors are so encouraging and welcoming. They provide guidance to help you learn the moves as a whole group and will go around the room to provide individualized help to those that need it. Modifications are always available, just ask. I love that the instructors really try to get to know everyone. My favorite class is Maddie’s 12pm. She is always makes class a lot of fun for everyone!

As I age I realize the importance of consistent strength training and low impact workouts. These Pure Barre classes are so crucial to support me in doing both. I enjoy them so much and still have the energy to go to multiple classes per week! I would definitely recommend these classes to all skill levels. The instructors are great with giving modifications if any move becomes too challenging.

So so glad that Pure Barre opened in Morgantown! I've been wanting to try this for years. The classes are so fun (and hard 😂), so up beat, and all of the instructors are awesome! Everyone is always so encouraging and really helps you push yourself. The amount of classes offered a day is crazy, there is literally no excuse to not go when they have classes from 530am to 730 pm, there is a class time to fit everyone's needs. I think it's safe to say I'm addicted

Literally the best workout there is! Full body and good for all fitness levels! There are so many ways you can modify each movement, and every instructor is so helpful and kind!
