Folded Leaf Yoga is an incredible studio! I always leave feeling better than I arrive; physically, mentally, and emotionally. The space is welcoming (the infrared yoga lights/heaters are the best!) and the staff prioritizes your experience.

Mosaic Wellness (mental health therapy office) did a corporate team building private session with Nina. She was so welcoming and inclusive. When we needed some specific accommodations and modifications with the poses, she did not mind at all and was helpful in making sure everyone felt involved. We also love that she is trauma-informed and taught a lot about the therapeutic properties of yoga. We will definitely reach out in the future with any yoga needs! Thanks, Nina!

Wonderful atmosphere very clean and inviting. I have had several massage appointments here. Nina is always very professional and polite. Does amazing with isolating your targeted issues. Previously before experiencing what the folded leaf has to offer. I dealt with knots an pain, poor mobility in my shoulders. Now I'm shooting bows and climbing mountains. This business also offers numerous class, from yoga and mediation to reiki. Even a few others like booty Barre with Mandy, pilates with beth. This business can help bring peace and grounding into your life. Give it a chance you won't be sorry you scheduled a class.

Every time I walk in the door at the Folded Leaf I feel safe, supported, and ready to let go of anything that's holding me back. I have attended a variety of classes for almost three years now. Each instructor brings an authentic, unique perspective that supports all skill levels to the variety of classes offered. Whether you are brand new or a seasoned yogi, there is room to grow here.

My husband booked a massage for me with Traci L. It was AMAZING! I carry so much stress and tension, and it all just...melted away. At some points, I think I forgot to breathe!
I was nervous because I'm insanely ticklish, but I told her that and she was wonderful with her pressure and open palms.
I should have done this sooner, and I can't wait to book my next appointment. Wow!

Connection. Growth. Healing. I started my journey at the Folded Leaf almost a year ago. Workshops, yoga, massage, and sound baths. As someone who suffers from chronic pain, anxiety and depression, the practices and the support I received from the staff and other participants has greatly improved my way of life and my mentality. From beginner classes to experienced yogis, there is something for everyone at the Folded Leaf. New to the studio? You will get an introduction from the teacher and a warm welcome. Need help in a class? Raise your hand and they will gladly help you figure out the pose. Looking for your third place? You will find a home and endless support from the staff who will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and will help you reach your goals. Come try a class, book a massage, or join one of the many workshops throughout the year!

I’ve taken a handful of classes here over the last few months. Nina, the owner, is super sweet! Their Thursday evening heated class is fantastic and I love that they are trauma-informed and teach somatic in just about every class. Nina also allowed me to use one of her spaces for a solo practice on NYE last year after I unknowingly showed up for a class that was cancelled. So thankful to have such a welcoming studio in town!

The Folded Leaf is a cozy, welcoming place for all bodies at all levels! Yoga isn't really my jam, but I really enjoyed the classes I took with Nina, the owner. What's really kept me coming back are the Ballet Barre and Booty Barre classes with Mandy Fish! Mandy is a great teacher and helps beginners feel confident as they learn. I love spending an hour a week pretending to be a graceful ballerina.
Another great positive about The Folded Leaf are the community focused classes Nina brings to us! From breathwork to coping with emotions, you will find a variety of ways to help heal your body and nourish your soul in this warm and homey space. They offer a great $30 for 30 day pass for new members to have an opportunity to find something that works for them. I encourage everyone to give the Folded Leaf and it's instructors an opportunity to help you feel your best!

The Folded Leaf is a community-driven yoga studio, where the teachers make yoga an inclusive and uplifting experience. Hot Yoga, Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Chair Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga - there is a class for everyone! $30 for 30 days is a great way to check them out. I went from there to a six month membership without hesitation because I love to practice here!

I cannot tell you how grateful I am for Nina and The Folded Leaf. I see Nina every other week for a sound bath and it’s an appointment I absolutely will not miss. To put it simply, these sessions have changed my life. The experience and meditation is different for everyone, but not only have I felt a difference, my friends and family have noticed as well. Nina’s care does not stop after the session is done. She’s fully invested and checks in on me throughout the week. She’s a wonderful mentor and now friend. I highly recommend booking a sound bath with her. It’s the single best thing I’ve done for myself and my overall wellbeing, ever.

I attend Bonnie’s sessions and Ronnie’s sessions. Both are excellent instructors! I started out knowing very little about yoga, which can be very intimidating. I stuck it out, and now I get upset if I have to miss. Both have been welcoming, as well as the regulars who attend. It’s a great way to clear your mind while at the same time feeling amazing physically. Overall, superb experience!

Complete novice with no previous experience with Yoga, but I am really enjoying the Beginners and Beyond and Gentle Yoga on Tue. and Wed. night. The 30 days for $30 for new people is an excellent deal to try out a new activity and I am planning on continuing after it runs out. Friendly fellow students and staff people. Would recommend if you are like me and completely clueless, but curious and what to try it out.

Received a massage from Nina. It was great. My lower back was sore when I went in, she was able to work the tight muscles and get them to release. I felt 💯 better when it was over. Highly recommend a massage from Nina.

Great selection of classes and workshops. Especially love Lindy's kundalini yoga class, Megan's Tai Chi and any classes with Candace Beth or Traci. My work schedule doesn't permit me to make it as often as I'd like, I'm sure the other instructors are great too! Come check out a class or book a massage, sure you won't be disappointed!

I love this studio! I started going two months ago and have not taken a single class that didn't inspire and uplift me: the beginners' classes which are full of helpful information about alignment, the yogalates classes that help strengthen the core, the hot yoga classes that gets students moving and laughing, the kundalini class that helps free the flow of energy, the Tai chi class that helps students learn to move gracefully with balance and control, the breathwork class that teaches how to move with the breath, the fire and ice class that helps students find the balance between effort and relaxation, and the power class that helps me transition from a busy week to the weekend. I can't wait to try more! I am grateful for all the owner and staff do to create this wonderful space. This is truly a place where students can grow into their best selves physically, spiritually, and mentally.

All of the individuals involved at The Folded Leaf have always gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, included, and valued in each class that I've taken there. The new management, teachers, and Nina herself are just some of the best people you can hope to interact with in Charleston, period. Their knowledge, kindness, and the diversity of offerings places this studio a cut above the rest in my opinion, 10/10 recommend!!

I LOVE taking classes at the Folded Leaf. It is under new management, and the new owner, Nina, has been working to make it a really special place. There is truly a class for everyone. My personal favorite is Fire & Ice on Thursday evenings with Nina. It combines a faster paced Vinyasa flow followed by relaxing Yin postures. Candlelight Yin with Beth is another great class. They also offer all kinds of interesting workshops. Best yoga studio in Charleston!

The Folded Leaf offers a great first month deal for new comers to be able to try out quite an eclectic variety of classes, many which are offered through zoom as well. The owner and all of the teachers are very welcoming and accepting of folks of all levels (beginner here!) and do a great job presenting their material in an informative and meaningful way. I'm very drawn to the real effort at this studio to connect with one another, both on a social and on a spiritual level.

The Folded Leaf is amazing. The range of classes offered (including evening and weekend classes for those of us who work during the day) is excellent. The environment is supportive and feels like a true community. Mandy Fish and her barre classes will have you laughing and sweating all at once - and Beth Moore will encourage you and tone your whole body with a smile. Thanks for all you do Nina!
