I tried to sign my granddaughter up for classes a few days ago last Wednesday on 9/17/25 but I was met with a woman on the phone who kept repeatedly telling me “We only accept cash” and told me that they no longer accept any checks or credit cards.

I thought it was a misunderstanding because I have friends who currently have their own grandchildren in these same classes and they told me that this gym does indeed accept checks and credit cards, so I tried asking this woman on the phone if I could possibly speak with her manager or the gym’s owner about it to clear this up with them but this woman kept angrily shouting at me “I am the owner!! If you have any problems, you’re only speaking to me!” Before she hung up on me.

The young lady working in the office tonight was so disorganized and chaotic, had a rude condescending attitude when she could not find my grandchild in her class or my payment on file even though I had already paid my bill, and didn’t even apologize when she did finally find it.

I’m so bummed with this facility. I’ve had 3 birthday parties here and this last one in July will be the last until the air conditioning gets fixed. The kids were so hot, red, and sweaty. It was too hot. This place has amazing potential for parties but it just seems there’s no rush to get the air conditioning fixed. I’m honestly surprised people are still going here for gymnastics class.

We had a birthday party at wv gymnastics center and it was soooo hot the little kids could hardly stand it in the gymnasium. Then went upstairs for our party space and thermostat read 85 degrees… I wouldn’t advise having a party during the summer at this place plus they made $200 a party and at least 3 parties that afternoon… the owners sure are pocketing the money instead of repairing and updating the center… not sure why there is no air conditioning upstairs. This has always been an icon for Morgantown but the outside and inside are in such need of cleanup and repair it’s embarrassing. Greed rates it’s ugly head as always.

I would not waste money or time with this place been paying for my granddaughter for 6 years for her to know how to do a cartwheel only. Very unsatisfying now she does not want to go anymore because she says “it’s boring”. They have young girls teaching and they don’t teach go somewhere else!

They had new teachers tonight and it actually felt like a real gymnastics class for the 6-7pm c group. The new coaches were engaged, they were spotting the kids when needed, and they really worked with them the entire class. Class started prompltly and went the full hour. They did a wonderful job, I hope these two ladies remain their coaches from here on out. Tonight you felt like you got your moneys worth. The girls all seemed to enjoy themselves and they all seemed to be much more confident. WTG WVGTC! This was the turn around many of us have been waiting for.

Can’t say enough good things about the WVU Gymnastics program. Absolutely love the patience the instructors we work with have shown to our child as they adjust to a structured social activity. They are priced well to make it affordable, and they have many schedule options for the once a week classes. They are simple yet fun and engaging for children. Their equipment is well maintained as well.

Had my sons birthday party there 2 years ago. We plan on calling to schedule my other sons party. Everyone had a good time. The people I spoke with at the time was very nice and laid back. Allowed EVERYONE to play and have a good time.

I scheduled my daughter’s birthday party a month in advance here! I showed up on the day of the party and no one was there to let us in and no one was answering the phone. I had to call multiple other locations to find somewhere to have her party at the last minute. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had! So unprofessional and terrible. Don’t waste your time or money dealing with them! I’m canceling my daughters gymnastics classes and everything!

I am on there team and have been there since I was 4 and I'm still there this day in the 8 years if been there they have been amazing great coaches a lot of holidays activities like a haunted house for Halloween and they are amazing for birthday parties on the weekends and every year they have there annual gymnastics camp for a week they have a fun and safe training facility and I am glad I'm on there team so if your looking for a place to learn gymnastics this is the place to do it!
