By far the best gym I have been to. Whenever I am in town this is where I go. Heston (the owner) is the best. No nonsense, flexible, and the gym has everything you could possible need. Whether you are a performance athlete, body builder, weekend warrior, or just trying to get in shape this gym in the place to be. I never have a problem using the equipment I need (although I generally lift at non-peak hours). In fact, most of the time I am able to do supersets between multiple different machines. A hidden gem in the area. Absolute highest recommendation!

I have been working out at ActiveVirtueAthetics for a month and absolutely love it! The facility is always clean and organized and has a variety of machines. I’m a class person and love the small class sizes. They feel like one-on-one training sessions. With being new (and sore from not working out in a while) the class trainers really listen and understand when a modification is needed. I also have to mention the sauna which is just a fabulous extra to help sore muscles, etc. AVA is such a great addition to Merton!

I signed up for the On-Ramp plan as I have not been to the gym for quite some time. I have been working closely with Heston and he is helping me setup a training plan and is teaching me how to use all of the different equipment that they have to offer. I’ve been to just about all the niche gyms in the area. I was unsatisfied with just about every single one of them. From twisted policies to unwelcoming atmospheres, I just couldn’t find a gym I liked. I kept driving past active virtue, thinking it was a private training facility. I decided to see for myself if that was the case. To my surprise, active virtue had an open gym. So I decided to take a tour. What I found was the nicest equipment in a gym that I’ve ever seen, and a humble and kind owner who was centered in Christ. I felt like active virtue was an answered prayer. Everyone there is so welcoming. The gym is filled with the nicest equipment. And the staff is so sincere and kind. I can’t recommend active virtue enough.

Bought a day pass for this gym while in town at my parents' for Easter. The equipment is top notch; they have everything a serious weightlifter could want, including plenty of racks and barbells. I loved that I could buy the pass online ahead of time so I didn't have to spend time filling out forms at the gym. My only complaint is $21 is a little steep when there's not really any other amenities, but I was willing to pay it because other gyms I looked into in the area had very limited staffed hours on the weekend, making it difficult to come in as a guest.

I joined just over 3 months ago and have nothing but good things to say about Active Virtue. Heston really cares about his members and continues to add new equipment to an already vast array that more than meets my needs. I mostly keep to myself with free weights and machines, but the personal trainers there put together nice plans for those that prefer it. The best part is, the gym is never overcrowded from my experience. Small things like chalk being allowed, a sauna, and the Nordic ham machine are big bonuses for me!

As a certified personal trainer who works and lives in the fitness industry, this is a great gym to check out and be apart of. It’s in a newer building with all new equipment that is far above average and is much better than most gyms out there. Plenty of cardio equipment, multiple squat racks, 3 deadlift platforms, wide range of dumbbell's, plenty of barbells and a safety bar as well for squats, great machines and cable stations and open space for mobility work.
Awesome owner who is very friendly and outgoing, very friendly staff as well and just a wholesome quality atmosphere at Active Virtue Athletics. A great gym for your strength training needs that provides quality service and a community feel as well. 10 /10 would recommend this gym. I am someone who was motivated to get to the gym but pretty stuck in the same routine. I was not seeing results. I decided to try the 3 free classes with Sarah.
