Overall fantastic gym. Fair amount of both auto belay and top rope routes, along with a small bouldering room.
This is the smallest AR gym, and that frequently causes it to be fairly busy, especially during the climbing team's practice time. Lots of kids running around, especially given the size of the gym.
AR really needs another location to the south to take pressure off this location (Muskego/Franklin area?), especially during peak times.
Staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful, the place is always clean and tidy, and routes are changed at just the right rate.

Great place to "learn the ropes"! Came here as a part of a scouts climbing merit badge lock in. The staff was great, very patient and knew how to keep the attention of the kids. They took their time, and kept going with all the kids till they had completed the badge which took till midnight. Thank you for sticking around and giving the kids a great learning experience

My son just joined a rock climbing club and he went to a practice at the adventure rock in Brookfield. I was surprised how busy it was but I guess rock climbing is a thing. My son bought some shoes there so he would not have to keep on renting. The staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. He got a discount for being member (part of the club) which was nice. Definitely a lot of positives so far and my son is really enjoying his experience.

Hadn't been to adventure rock since I was young. Decided to go with some friends, bad idea. Will never return. Immediately after signing the waiver a little girl fell from the tied off area. I have no idea how you can allow that to happen with professionals standing all around. Was she not harnessed properly? Was no one holding the rope? Their is no excuse for this little girl with most likely several broken bones and a long recovery ahead. Didn't even get a refund. Do not use this location. Someone needs to be fired.

The staff are exceptional but the managements decision to add less set screws has created an occasionally dangerous environment where it otherwise doesn't have to be.

The location also already closes earlier than many climbers would prefer and with the change in summer hours its getting worse. Paying the same membership fee for less access feels like robbery. This gym would be 5 star for community and 1 star for management decisions based on my experience.

I’ve been coming to adventure rock for a couple years now. There’s always a great selection of auto belay climbs, roped climbs and a dedicated lead climb wall too. Great bouldering area that gets updated regularly.

This location does get fairly packed during peak hours FYI

The staff is also very helpful and friendly offering advice on gear and other aspects of climbing.

Love this company and it’s gyms but have been feeling the squeeze on paying members regarding space and general availability.

I can imagine it’s stressful for new people trying to break into rock climbing. I’ve witnessed people very close to me who were overwhelmed by the gyms.

North Ave at Commerce Street is great for tall walls. Walker Point is great for inverted and negative ascent climbs.. Pewaukee is not as tall, but the walls make you think and choose your moves accordingly. All 3 are nice. Staff is excellent at all 3 locations.

My first visit was very comfortable. I haven’t climbed in over ten years, so the orientation was incredibly helpful. There are walls for every skill level, and bouldering routes as well. They also have an area with standard weights and gym equipment for those who are looking for full fitness, including cardio. Their rates are super fair and the staff are friendly and helpful. They both offer equipment rental and sell many supplies on site at reasonable prices. Definitely recommend giving them a visit.

Interesting place for a Birthday Boy to have his party...the 2 hour time slot is plenty of time for climbing and celebrating. At this point in time, you are able to bring in your own food, have pizza delivered, cupcakes, or a cake and call it a day. It is helpful to have others on hand to keep an eye out and help depending on the number of children age and experience of the climbers. Many areas to climb and various degree of difficulty on the walls. There is a locker room, not a place for snacking and very limited Sport drinks for sale. Equipment can be rented as part of your fee or available for purchase. You can check the website for the number of climbers at any given time. Note to staff, All Restrooms could be cleaner and should be checked hourly.

Oh boy what an experience! Attended birthday party and had a blast. The attendants were very friendly and helpful in getting party-goers trained in using equipment safely. The party room was large and had table, chairs, refrigerator and freezer. Plenty of space for our 15+ group to use. Everyone had a great experience and a unique way to have a fun and safe adventure. Climbing was a great workout for the kids so highly recommend giving it a try. Though parking lot full the facility is large and plenty of different level walls to climb. Thanks for a great time!

Not that fun for kids. There are some auto belay stations for kids, but your kids can not even try half of the stations because of the type of rope. It's sort of set up for more serious climbers. There is also a small gym in back with shorter walls and no ropes but it's also quite a challenge for kids. Price for admission and equipment is $25 so not really a great value for a kids fun day. My kids were bored after only an hour. It did get very repetitive

Honestly great location! I've been climbing here for six months, and the routes keep getting better and better. The price is a bit much, but the gym offers two smaller climbs, a huge gym, and a bouldering room.

Keep coming back for the hard ones, though; before anyone says this isn't competitive, trying doing the 5.12 in the smaller room, not only is it a challenge but watching people try it and learn is awesome! 5/5
