The staff here really takes the time to understand and develop each child's individual needs to help them accomplish their goals. They have made karate such a fun experience for my son, and we cannot wait till our other is old enough to start as well. If you're thinking about karate for your kids, Amerikick is the place! They are so great with the kids. They go above and beyond to make sure the kids feel comfortable, prepared, and included. My son was very nervous to start out, and they were super accommodating and helped find ways to ease his anxiety. Now he LOVES it! The instruction provided by all of the senseis is exceptional and perfectly age appropriate. The kids have so much fun, learn a ton, and gain confidence. We have seen growth physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally in our son since starting! We would highly recommend Amerikick!

My 9 year old son has been attending karate classes at Amerikick Wisconsin in Janesville for almost 6 months and he is absolutely hooked on the positive , enthusiastic atmosphere and the confidence-building, supportive environment. He has such a blast! Sensei Shelly and Sensei Joe have such a fount of knowledge and technical mastery that would be difficult to find anywhere else. Typically, after a class, my son will be drenched in sweat, grinning from ear to ear, saying: "Dad, that was so much fun!"

Shelley and Joe are fantastic teachers to all age groups. Amerikick has helped our daughter with confidence and showing her that she can do anything she puts her mind to. Amerikick has done an amazing job with adjusting to COVID limitations. They have taken the time to ensure the students are safe by requiring masks, taking temperatures, taping out squares for each student to be in, and taking the time to sanitize between classes.

The instructors have gone above and beyond to help keep the students engaged and take the time to help them through instructions that may not be fully understood. They work through real life scenarios me ways for the students to protect themselves as well as having good technique in their move combinations.

For the price each month, we feel like the time and quality at the studio is a great deal! We truly enjoy being part of the Amerikick family. Sensei Joe and Sensei Shelly run an incredible program and we recommend their studio to everyone considering martial arts for their child or themselves!

I would be a member for life here if I didn’t have to move for work. I cannot say enough good things about Amerikick! This is for the personal fitness/kickboxing classes although I know they also have karate as well. Joe & Shelly are absolutely amazing instructors, they are very patient & motivating. They kick your butt but always encourage you to go your own pace and really focus on what is best for you. I started out going once a week, then went up to twice, now I go to all four evening classes they have a week! It is always something different but you always know what you’re doing & they are very good at teaching you. I’m never bored & I think I’m in the best shape of my life thanks to them! I wish I would never have to leave, it will be hard to go to anything else after these amazing classes!

I have been going to this Karate School for over 8 years!!! I currently live in Rockford and drive twice a week to continue coming to this karate school. There are plenty of karate schools I could go to in the area, but I know their quality can't be beat. I know the student's and I are receiving a world-class education in Martial Arts. They are phenomenal instructors that really take an interest in your lives and how Martial Arts can improve it. They don't teach "americanized/soft" karate, but they teach true karate with an unparalleled curriculum. It is a great way to be "fit" for life, and also meet some great people. I have gained many skills from the instructors here that have helped me continue to be successful in my school, my job, and my life. Integrity and Passion would be great keywords for describing this school. I highly recommend this school to anyone interested!!!

Amerikick is a great place for Fitness Kickboxing classes and karate classes. Every class is different and you know you can leave there with a smile and a great workout completed! The atmosphere is fun and friendly and you always feel welcome when you walk in the door! The karate classes are great for all ages, fun, and as you progress, you feel more confident! Definitely a great place to be a part of!

AmeriKick is the BEST! My son loves the karate classes 3x a week and I love the kickboxing! Everyone is soooo friendly...you feel comfortable the first time you walk in the doors. All ages and abilities have been in the kickboxing class, which makes it super stress-free!
