I purchased a membership at AMRAP. I didn't know anyone there at all but received the warmest welcome from the other members and instructors. Everyone is really nice and the workouts are always challenging. I came to AMRAP because my lower back was hurting and my core was very weak. In just 2 weeks flat my low back feels strengthened and my energy feels increased. Here, you will always have someone pushing you to do your best, but they will not push you in an unreasonable way. They encourage you to do what you can until you feel you can do more. I had a bad habit of picking weights that are too heavy for me. But the instructor is really good with watching everyone to make sure you don't hurt yourself and that proper form is used when exercising. No matter where you are physically, AMRAP has something for you. I recommend AMRAP to anyone looking for a challenge or simply looking to feel better. I feel better because of AMRAP. Joe and Hali have worked really hard to build a great community and it has paid off! AMRAP is an inviting gym for any level of fitness, if you're looking for a great place to make some friends and get in shape, you should give it a try!

I've done CrossFit in the past and always ended up pushing myself to injury, Joe has a much more sustainable approach to personal growth and accomplishment in fitness goals.

I joined AMRAP in January 2023 and it was one of the best decisions I've made for myself. I truly love every single thing about this gym - the community, the workouts, and the wide variety of class times allow me to fit a workout in my busy schedule. I joined the gym almost 2 years ago now after my wife convinced me to start going, who had been going to the gym for a year already. Honestly didn’t think I would like it and wow was I wrong. I truly enjoy going to the gym nearly every morning. The coaches and other members push me every day to get more fit. It’s not about how much we can lift but are you getting better each day. We laugh, sweat, and get better every day at this place together. I hit 40 this year and I am in my best shape since my early 20’s, even doing things I couldn’t do in my 20’s. Give this place a try, I think you will like it.

This place. It is truly incredible. Joe and Hali are amazing individuals who care deeply about their mission and the people that walk through their doors. I absolutely love the atmosphere at AMRAP. there is truly no other gym quite like it. One of the things I love about this gym is the #youvsyou mentality, vs comparison to anyone else. Everyone supports everyone. The coaches are personable, they challenge you, and they know what they're talking about when it comes to form. It's always one of the best parts of my day.

A side note for those who are pregnant: I did CrossFit through AMRAP with my third kiddo. I was back in the gym at 3 weeks post partum and 18 months later, I have lost all my baby fat plus some and have never lifted heavier. My kids love to come to the family 9am class and they're always welcome (truly welcome- no eye rolls, etc.).

I cannot say enough good things about AMRAP. I was hesitant to join this style gym as I have not done a lot of weightlifting in the past, but the coaches build programs for all abilities and give you the attention you need to make sure you are doing the exercises properly and safely. If you’re thinking about trying out AMRAP, do it! I can’t say enough. From the second I walked into this gym, I felt welcomed, encouraged, and invested in. I had absolutely no background in lifting, so if you have no knowledge, or a lot, it’s a great place! The coaches are constantly making sure form is correct and celebrate victories along with you. I was super committed to my former gym. I made personal connections there and I had my routine. When that gym closed during quarantine, I was devastated. I honestly thought I wouldn’t ever find another gym like it. Fast forward 4 months...
I met Hali & Joe outside of AMRAP and quickly picked up on their passion for fitness. I was skeptical at first thinking I wouldn’t fit in with CrossFitters when they suggested I check them out. After a few personal training classes with Hali and after simply observing a class I decided to give it a try. Yesterday was my 45th class! I love the variety of workouts. I appreciate the dedication to working on different parts of the body for a total body workout throughout the week. I’m continually impressed with the coaches focus on form and adaptions for anyone recovering from injuries. I’m getting stronger with every class I attend, and I’m beginning to make new connections. As Coach Joe says, “You showed up! You can’t help but get more fit.”

Vulnerability is not easy for me. Either is lifting weights. So the very thought of joining any type of group fitness place scared me to death. But my friend's positive experience and results with AMRAP Method couldn't be denied and she convinced me to give it a try. Having zero past experience with CrossFit, weight lifting or really any serious exercise regimen, I started with a few personal training sessions with Hali. Joe and Hali are the owners and have created something special that feels welcoming and like family the minute you walk in their doors. The personal training with Hali was invaluable. I have been coming here for six months now and Hali and Joe have celebrated every little success, every PR along the way. They program specific things for their members because they know what motivates us, what makes fitness fun for us. They create a great environment for us to work hard and reach our goals. We do the work, but it is so much easier with our AMRAP family behind us. I have lost 24 lbs since I started CrossFit but what I’m really happy about is everything I have gained; new friends, new skills, and a realization that I can do so much more than I ever thought.

AMRAP Method is amazing!! Highly recommend for any fitness level. Joe is great at accommodating to my fitness needs (I’m definitely not a weight lifter), but his classes are highly energetic and motivating. The owners are super friendly and inviting! Definitely recommend stopping in to say hi and try out a class!
