When I first came here, I loved it. The equipment available for the amount of people that are usually here was perfect. Now, they updated the layout of the gym, and took equipment out of the gym so there is less available. Less equipment to use, but membership price stayed the same. Not only that, most of the equipment is old, falling apart or doesn't work properly. Was a great gym environment here, but lately seems like management cares more about their money than what they have to offer us.

EDIT: Down to 1 star now since the owner is coming on here and lying. Let me list everything they took and didn't replace. They took away a power rack and said it wasn't the right brand that Anytime Fitness uses and never replaced it. They also got rid of a multipurpose power rack in the back room. Probably wasn't the right brand and never replaced it. They took away our punching bag, and never replaced it. They took away the back extension machine, and never replaced. I could keep going, but I think people will get the point. Not only that, they have dumbells that will literally gash your legs open if you're not careful, because they are falling apart. ANYTIME FITNESS, DO BETTER. You are failing the people that truly own the business; it's customers. All of that equipment gone and the price of the membership is the same.

EDIT #2: Increasing it to 2 stars since they FINALLY gave us the punching bag back. It only took over a year to attain. Replace the dumbells, and I'll increase another star. For every power rack you bring back, will also increase a star.

The equipment and the staff are great… Don’t have any problems here when it comes to the staff or the variety of machines. However, they do need to have a talk with one or two patrons when it comes to personal hygiene. Only one or two people that need this talk :)

The Cudahy AF is my home gym. The staff have always been friendly and usually greet me by name. They are always responsive if I inform them a piece of equipment is acting up. Trainers have answered simple questions about equipment or an exercise form even though I'm not a client of theirs. Generally clean, although the seat cushion by the cubbies is looking less welcoming.

I’ve been a member here for about 6 years or so. The new and long time staff members are very friendly and welcoming!! They do an excellent job at keeping the whole gym clean, especially the bathrooms. The gym aesthetically is lightyears ahead of where it was when I first signed up, due to the newest owners coming in and getting her done dammit!! When I had an issue with my account, Nicole went above and beyond to clear up the issue and make me happy hahaha, which is greatly appreciated!! My one complaint would be the lack of machines added and the hyper extension or lower back piece being removed and never replaced.

I love that this gym is available for those of all different fitness levels. It warms my heart to see more elderly members there every day for cardio and strength classes. The remodel made the whole space easy to view. It is always clean and the staff is super friendly! I've been taking small group training for 1/2 a year and the variety and education in different machines or weights has been fantastic.

I worked out here once and never returned! Majority of there workout equipment is outdated and even some seated equipment held together by black tape. This has got to be the only anytime fitness with cheap outdated equipment! Just about all the other anytime fitness has more up to date workout equipment and weights! Please update the workout equipment!

Every time I visit this gym, the bathrooms always have a bad odor! I’m not sure if the staff are not fully cleaning the bathroom floors or what! But I hate the smell of the gym! Almost like a moldy tangy smell. Definitely won’t be going back here.

This specific cudahy gym is privately owned and they make their own rules. So if the owner doesn’t like a review you leave on here(((that’s apart of freedom of speech))) the owner will ban you and close out your membership!!! Save your time and Find another gym thats not bias against reviews!

When I first came to this gym, I really loved the atmosphere but as I came frequently, I started to get nasty stares from Nicole the receptionist, and the cleaning lady. I’m not sure what’s up with the staff at this location but a great gym doesn’t make you feel judged or ashamed. Please treat everyone equally!

This gym is among the best Anytime Fitness locations in the Milwaukee area.

Having seen this gym go through multiple ownerships, it is miles ahead of where it was years ago.

Ownership and management have taken a hands-on approach to correcting any issues, as well as lengthy renovations, and accommodating member needs.

This gym is very clean, and offers a wide variety of training equipment catering to all your fitness needs.

Revising my review: this location has undergone some indoor remodeling and the owners have been progressively adding/upgrading equipment over the years. As with almost every anytime fitness, it just simply has everything I could want in a gym with a reasonable monthly fee and 24/7 access. I focus on weight training and care less about classes or tanning or cardio equipment, though this location has all of the above for those that do want those amenities as well. This location is rarely overcrowded (acknowledge this was written before Jan 1) and the regulars are polite and friendly enough.

My personal trainer trains me out of this gym and she is ABSOLUTELY amazing! Everything that she does for me and her clients doesn’t go unnoticed. Megans work ethic and dedication to her clients is what bring me back in and with the atmosphere of the gym , it’s the best way to end a long work day. Her faith in me, makes me believe in myself and I am so grateful for that. This specific location has a good thing going and I love coming here! It’s even better because I have an amazing trainer with a crazy personality who always motivates me and helps me get REAL results. Megan is the absolute truth!

This location of anytime has several squat racks and several sets of machines. I like the bootybuilder. I like it because its 24/7. Its also cleaned often compared to other anytimes. I prefer it over planet cause I like the smaller crowds, and the weights go heavier. This location has an enclosed studio and boxing space. I have gone to Xperience and planet and most locations, and i prefer anytime cause i travel often. It lacks the spas and other stuff the other franchises have, so don't join if you want that.

People aren't rude either, i went on a Saturday once, and one dude was really loud with grunting and playing his music and moved a bunch of stuff, but I don't think he works out much to know gym etiquette, but he was quite when other people came in.... every other time people are nice and let me practice choreography, yoga and stretch in peace.
I know if i ask someone, they general adjust or answer. It's not intimidating like some huge gyms where people make you feel bad for asking questions.

Great selection of equipment and classes plus personal training to help you kickstart your fitness! Nice, single person bathrooms with showers so no crowded dressing rooms ever.
Great place for women as there’s NO creepers here plus video security and the doors are locked at all times (only members can get in).

This place is pretty small and has very minimal equipment. I did a 7 day pass when considering switching from Planet Fitness, decides to stay with Planet Fitness. This place has only one squat rack, one Smith machine, very few cardio machines.

I tried this gym out just for kicks last week and I will not be back. It was pretty small, and there wasn't a whole lot of lifting equipment. No one was wearing masks--not even the guy in the office. The facility was dark and uninviting, definitely not like the AFs that I usually go to. It was surprisingly disappointing, but it confirmed why this was the least busy AF in my area.

This review is regarding professionalism and customer service...10 stars!!! I stopped here this afternoon because I needed some assistance with my membership. The gentleman working (regretfully didn’t get his name but had black glasses on), helped me figure out that not only was I at the wrong gym, but did proceed to assist me anyways in figuring out where I needed to go and also made a phone call for me to the correct gym so I wasn’t running around town. I was super impressed by this and needed to make sure I wrote a great review for him and the gym. I have to say when I get back to the gym, Anytime Fitness will get my business if this is the kind of customer service they portray! Thank you again for all your help today! Since new management/ownership of the gym, it has been spotless. equipment is always put away and the bathrooms are very clean, not to mention the rest of the gym. The staff is amazingly friendly. the new owner brought back some old faces to brighten up the gym and along with them a great number of previous members. I highly recommend this facility, it is a great place to work out with personal training available and free group fitness classes.

FIND ANOTHER GYM! Worst Anytime Fitness I have been to and I was a member at several in the area over the past 6 years. The only person posting 5 stars on here is the Owner! Staff is rude, they will add extra fees to your membership without explanation. The weights are never put away and equipment isn't wiped down. Treadmills do not work, they will shut off mid run - Tanning bed sucks. I would not recommend this gym.

Everyone at this gym is geared towards helping you in anyway they can . I have been a member for several years . The staff has went out of there way to help me find ways to work around my problems and get the most out of my workouts . If you are considering joining a fitness center I would absolutely recommend anytime fitness in cudahy . I have lost over 100 pounds in nine months ! And over 200 pounds from my heaviest !!! I have been a member of this Anytime Fitness for 4 years and have traveled to over 250 Anytime Fitness clubs Nation wide and this club has an atmosphere of cleanliness as well as functional working equipment. The clubs recent update and expansion provides plenty of equipment and room to exercise throughout. It is never overly crowed where as you cant use a piece of equipment and they have classes throughout the week in there new group room. The owner is a hands on owner and is in the club most of its open hours and I always see her engaged with members not only encouraging them but answering questions and helping them. If you are looking for place to meet your goals, this is the place.
