I go to Anytime Fitness facilities around the state and this is always my favorite. The layout is spread in such a way that if it is busy I can still find an area to get my workout done. The bathrooms with showers are good sized and have hooks so I can hang up my clothes. The classes that happen during the early hours are taught by a very friendly and motivational young man (the attendees look like they are having fun and working hard).

Jefferson is owned by the same group and that's my 2nd favorite.

I was in the process of moving to Janesville, and discovered my new roommate was schizophrenic. This changed a few things, and has me scrambling to find a place to live, possibly in a different city. At the point I signed up, I knew I needed to keep my gym discipline up in order to manage the stress of changing jobs and moving.

At the point of signing up, I was coerced into signing an agreement because I was told it could start at the point I would have finished my move, which was the 15th of June, 2018. I signed on the 1st.

I was not told about the cancellation fee of $250 that I am now on the hook for, because I have to find a different city, and it likely won't be the 30 miles away from the location that they require to waive that. In addition to that, with it being the 27th of June, 2018, I cannot get out of the contract, even though I signed up because I made it clear I could not start anything until the 15th of this month, even though that is within the listed two week window.

Long and short, I am paused on my membership until October, which, upon resuming, I will be on the hook for $150 a month, unless I can produce this document.

I am willing to pay out my month, like a month of any other service, but this place is all sales, no service, and they have the brand they do because of predatory tactics.

If you are looking for a gym in the Janesville area, I highly recommend you look at the local YMCA, as everyone I know who has moved to or from Janesville has never had a problem doing business with them, and the facilities are recommended.

Anytime Fitness gives you a "that's our policy" line, and you will eat a quarter of a grand if you ever want to stop being a member at this gym.

Staff is great and help tremendously with motivation. Been going here for about a year now. Recently they renovated. I'm not a fan of the Scotch Brite style floor, but other than that I like how open the gym is now.
