I became a member of the gym in 2022 and i requested to cancel the membership since I change I moved from Mukwonago to Milwaukee and i found a different gym close to my home for a very cheap amount. I requested to cancel my membership via email explaninig my situation but there were no option given for cancellation. However, i was kept on charging the monthly fee untill i had to request the bank to block Anytime Fitness to take payments out of my account. Now I have a collection in my credit report, which is unfair for me. As a customer I need to have the freedom to change, cancel the membership when ever i want and that should be not made difficult.

I joined the club on 4/15/2024 and was told my agreement was $34.99 per month and seven days later that amount was withdrawn again. Two days later another $50.99 was withdrawn and continues to happen every two weeks since then, 13 voicemails and 9 emails later still no response except from Bastian sending a text promising a phone call form his manager that does not happen. Complete and Deliberate lie from the employee going from $34.99/ month to $101.98/ month.

I have been trying to cancel my gym membership here for the past 4 months since I have moved away. I have tried calling multiple times a day during the staffed hours and the staff here at anytime fitness does not ever answer or respond back to my voicemails. I have since tried to call the corporate offices and I have filled out the email saying I want to cancel my membership. They have said that it is canceled and I won't be charged anymore. 4 months later it's still happening, each time I talk to someone it is 45+ minutes on the phone. I have asked to listen to my last recording and they will not send it to me saying that it is confidential. This is by far the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced, I wouldn't recommend a single person to this gym. I wish I could give them negative stars.

I joined and was lead to believe the Gym would be open during construction. Unfortunately, I was mislead and found myself unable to utilize the gym after my surgery, traveling to Muskego was not an option for me. I have written 2 letters asking that my membership be terminated and have received no response. In the future I will be having my R leg amputated and would reconsider joining again. However, their failure to communicate to my written requests leads me to question their devotion to their members.

My contract ended in June. I have been charged every month since then. I have called the gym over a dozen times and no one ever answers. I have ensured that I call during their staffed hours and never has the phone been picked up. I have emailed them numerous times. I called the billing company, and once they sent an email to the gym, they responded within hours, but just stated that “it takes a while for a cancellation to go through.” I had texted a staff member in July stating that I was charged when my contract had ended and they said no problem, that everything was taken care of and my membership was cancelled. I have now been charged four months past my contract end.

I came here for the first time because I am visiting family in the area, I left 5 minutes after I arrived. I went to the bathroom, and that was the deal breaker. A thug came to this gym where I went alone, at 10pm, for some ific purpose of intimidation. Him, or someone else, illegally doxed me, and in doing so broke multiple laws. One such law, US Code 18 A. I did not stutter. The issue was systemic, in all likelihood armed individuals. It scared me and left an impression, so he succeeded at what he was doing.

Came to start exercising daily for mental health reasons a couple years back.

Also, completely unbeknownst to me for awhile, the area (like the county and surrounding counties) is criminal hotbed, specifically methamphetamine.

The issues went unaddressed by two gym owners.

This is the first gym I've been a part of for more than a couple of weeks, and it's awesome! I like how small the gym is too- it makes it easier to just set your stuff down and jump straight into your workout.
