Fantastic experience at this Anytime Fitness. Brody and the team were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I travel for work and prefer real gyms over hotel setups—Brody quickly set me up with a membership that fit my needs. While it’s not as extensive as my larger home club in Chicago, AF Oconomowoc has everything necessary for a great workout: free weights, squat racks, kettlebells, resistance bands, and a solid variety of machines. The facilities are clean, updated, and easy to navigate. This will definitely be my go-to gym whenever I’m in the area.

So the owner replies and touches on the AC issue but doesn't address anything else in my review? From my past experience this is probably just a marketing person that doesn't know anything about the club. AF tell me if I'm wrong. Typical!

I've been a member of this club since it's opening. The equipment is not up to date or improved like other gyms I've belonged to in the past but yet they keep raising the prices every year. If your going to raise my gym dues that's fine but at least make improvements along the way to justify the price increase. Don't just give the inside a new paint job like in the past! Make some REAL improvements! I've been to a few other AF and they're equipment is much better and up to date! If it wasn't for the great staff, the cleanliness and the location I'd go somewhere else. Plus the air hasn't worked properly for a week now seriously???? It sure seems like the owners don't care if this club succeeds or not. It's time for the owners to step up and make things better before they start losing more members!

Anytime Fitness Oconomowoc or Hot Yoga Oconomowoc?

HVAC issues can happen at anytime to anyone. The issue is how quickly is it getting fixed. For this Anytime location, the answer seems to be not soon enough. AC down for three days and the staff is not certain when it will be repaired. One would think this would be a priority for the franchise. I'll try to update when it is eventually repaired.

Prior to the virus, I was trying different clubs around the area to check out the facilities etc. Of the 4-5 clubs I went to this location was the most engaging and professional. So much so that I signed up for training here. Have been coming here for training ever since. The staff Jen, Marcus and Michael do a great job of motivating me and making the workouts interesting. Not the cheapest club in the area, but well worth the price. If you're looking for a club - check this one out!

Have been a member here for just about six years now. Its truly my second home. I think some equipment (treads) need an update and if any owners are looking at this, a hack squat machine would be amazing! But I love it here and the members are great!

Been coming late nights and the guy working the night shift is all over it. That place is immaculate he's always doing something in the club to up the appearance. He's also a very courteous young man always says hello and goodbye and have a nice night etc. Awesome location, tho it can be kinda of a Karenville during the daytime.But that's just Oconomowoc. Well run place great location!

Would not give any stars but not an option. The equipment is so outdated. Never updated. I switched gyms because Planet has all brand new equipment and much cheaper. I have been in the gym when the owner would scream at the trainer. It is a a tiny gym. If you are looking for a gym that is never maintained. They had hot water issues, heat and air conditioning in the summer time is a joke. This is the Fdl, Wi location. The owner is very rude. He yells at the staff a lot. I personally heard him literally yelling at her when she had training clients. His answer….they can wait. I personally told the trainer to quit and go elsewhere. No person should ever be talked to the way he (the owner)talked to her every week…yes the club director who no longer works there is my daughter.

The staff is really nice and super helpful when I have questions. It would be nice if they spent more of our membership dues on equipment. All of the barbells are bent, not enough leg machines, but they have 9 treadmills nobody uses. Would be cool to see it get an overhaul!

Highly recommend this gym! I have belonged to many a gym during my 57 years! I have never felt like I belonged. Everyone knows that uncomfortable feeling! I have been going 4-6 days every week since 2015. They help in all phases of your fitness jouney ! The trainers have been great, helping to hit your goals and have fun along the way. Our recent new trainer Tim has been great. No matter how new or advanced we are he keeps us all going.

I was only in town for a couple of days taking care of some family stuff. The team at Anytime gave me a few day passes to work out while in town. Absolutely didn’t expect it for free, so that was unexpected and so nice. Facility had everything I needed and with 24 hour access was very accommodating to my hectic schedule. Love this place! Very nice, clean facility. No huge crowds, no loud music. If you sign up for personal training, the trainers are excellent--working with principles of functional fitness instead of focusing on machines. My medicare subscription pays for my membership through Silver Sneakers (which the local Y doesn't accept). Accessible 24 hours a day. Highly recommend.

Went to the location to learn more about a membership, with intent to purchase. They were short staffed and unable to accommodate at that moment, understandable. After speaking with the staff member, I scheduled an appointment for the following week. Upon arriving at the scheduled date and time, there were no records of an appointment to discuss membership opportunities with me. The staff member(s) informed me that although they remembered me and my appointment, they were still unable to accommodate and have a breif meeting nor was there any attempt to assist with rescheduling, the only option was to "wait around". Due to staffing, the buisness missed a gaurenteed sale. No bother, their competitors are directly across the street and you will save 50% - 75% monthly for your gym membership.

I called to speak to anyone about a membership at the Oconomowoc location on October 22,2021 at 11AM and the young man was beyond RUDE and hung up on me so I called back and he hung up on me again. I have been working out at Anytime Fitness for about 2 months. I always feel welcomed by the staff. The gym is really clean and I feel safe working out there. I especially feel thankful for having Michael as a trainer. He has been fantastic at keeping me focused. He has constantly checked on my progress and pushed me to work harder. Not only does he work us hard but he makes sure we’re doing things correctly. I look forward to my sessions every day because I know he will make sure we have a great workout, make us sweat and ....laugh!😂

This is a great local fitness club. The staff was always helpful. When I ended up cancelling my membership because i set up a basement gym for myself, they were prompt and communicative.

They have lots a good assortment of equipment and machines. They have lots of space for functional fitness (if that's your thing). They also have plenty of showers if you're trying to sneak in a workout before work.

Fantastic personal training programs and great boot camps!

The personal trainers talk to you and find out what your goals are and get a workout plan from there.

The boot camps are fun and engaging, and on occasion they have an off site boot camp at a local brewery that is loads of fun.

The Oconomowoc Anytime Fitness has a lot of great features that other area gyms are lacking...This gym has lots of new equipment and multiples of very popular equipment to reduce wait time at peak hours. There are 4 bathroom/ shower rooms. 2 tanning beds, 1 stand up and 1 lay down model. There is a lay down massage table as well. The gym is very well ventilated, no musty gym smell! And the strip mall where it is located has lots of parking, you never have to walk to far to your car... especially on leg day.

Greg and Nate have been awesome and Lisa is very nice and welcoming. My wife and I have tried several gyms over the past few years and I can honestly say we are so excited we walked through the doors at Anytime Fitness in Oconomowoc. Great facility that is well kept and clean. Equipment is maintained property and always kept in it's proper place. Staff seems to have the interests of the members at the top of their mind, and those I have dealt with genuinely care about your well-being.
