If I could give 0 stars I would. This gym doesn't care about anyone but the money. They take advantage of seniors who sign a contract they dont even understand then they won't cancel it after months of saying you want to cancel it. Then, are so worried to about a petty 250.00.. I suggest go to planet fitness. No contracts, very professional and actually care about their customers. By far the most unprofessional, rude and tiny trainers ever.. dont waste your money there go to planet fitness...

The gym itself may be fine, but Anytime fitness itself is a crooked business. First the old manager of this location told me I would be getting free membership for a year other than the yearly maintenance fee, but I would be on a 2 year contract. Fine. Then when I asked if there was a way to cancel early, she said no. Fine.

Anytime fitness makes it difficult to cancel, you have to email their billing company and then wait 3-7 days for a response. Not only that, but when you cancel, they will charge you 1 More month of a subscription fee as a "cancelation fee" (but you can use their gym for another month) I don't want another month with this crooked company, I just want my money back. If I submit for a cancelation it is WRONG to charge for another month. Even when I called about cancelation, the manager didn't even mention being charged another month as a cancelation fee while he sent me the email information.

Unless you like to pick up after others or like to be recorded by a cellphone on a tripod, go elsewhere. More often than not, it looks like a tornado came through the gym because there are some who haven’t grasped the concept of picking up after themselves. My next point about being recorded inadvertently. I or anyone else shouldn’t have to worry about being recorded by somewho who brings a tripod stand for their phone to the gym. It’s rude, and it’s a disaster waiting to happen. I shouldn’t have to stare at the ground to make sure there’s something to trip over in an otherwise clear exit to the door. If you want to record yourself, do it at your home.

Enjoy this location and their equipment, and staff, however for the second time in as many years their billing comes into question. If you are expecting to get the advertised rate per month you arent. Under their billing practice of by weekly withdrawals you are paying an extra month in dues per year. Tried to explain this to staff to no avail.

The hotel didn't have a gym so we hit up this Anytime Fitness. It has a lot of cool equipment including that curvy treadmill and cables for skiers.

I only went there for a day so I can't really speak on much more. I had fun.

I used this gym for about a year before deciding to buy my own treadmill and weights. While trying to cancel my membership I explained my choice/situation. The employee kept pushing that "benefits of the membership" were more than just equipment. Even after telling her four times that I did not care she stalled on my cancelation and very rudely kept trying to sell me on the gym. It got to the point of needing to raise my voice (which I prefer not to do) in order to get my point across. I understand that they want to retain members but my intent was very clear and this girl would not give up. It was the most desperate and rude exchange I've ever had with a business of any kind.

If you are familiar with going to a timeshare presentation, this place is the exact same experience. They try to lure you in with a "free" $50 membership or whatever else they come up with to get you in the door and then it's non-stop upsell from there. They try to upsell you on a higher tier membership, they offer a "free" workout with a trainer to try to get you to buy sessions with one, and on and on. I had a personal trainer a couple of years ago and when i came in for a workout one day, the trainer i first started out with, asked me into the office and proceeded to try to sell me a meal plan. 6 months ago i joined again to get in shape for a vacation coming up and i told them i just wanted a 6 month thing because i didn't want to be locked in. I paid 6 months in advance. I just called to cancel and they said i was contracted till 2021. If i want out i have to pay $250! I told them thats not what i signed up for. They are acting like we never agreed to the 6 month thing. I am glad my girlfriend was there when i signed up. Why did i go back? My girlfriend goes there and we both work nightshift now so i thought maybe we would go late at night and do our thing for 6 months before the vacation and avoid the salesmen. BIG MISTAKE! Do yourself a favor and stay clear from this place! Find a gym that will just give you a straight membership, tell you the services they offer plain and simple without the hard sell, and just leave you to workout in peace. I don't know about the other anytime fitness places but i advise to stay clear of the one in Waupun, unless you like manipulative sales tactics. P.S. I just found out that the person who did the contract works in Ripon
