Barre3 is an efficient and effective workout that combines strength, cardio, and mindfulness, designed to teach people to be balanced in body and empowered from within. When you work out with us, you’ll move through low-impact isometric moves, large-range cardio bursts, and mind-centering breath work. Barre3 instructors will challenge you to find your edge while creating space for you to define what success looks like for you in every workout.

The studio itself is a clean and fun vibe. All the employees are super welcoming and friendly - even if it's your first time doing barre. The classes are challenging and rejuvenating to help you reach your fitness goals - made for all fitness levels. The instructors are super nice and make it a point to reach out to you after taking their classes.

The studio owner, Jamie, is very responsive to any concerns and values those who come to her barre studio. She really cares about the community and the people who take the classes. While there was a miscommunication regarding membership cancellation, she took the time to listen and understand where things went wrong, and ultimately rectified the situation. If life would allow it, I definitely would've continued taking these classes. I would highly recommend Barre3 Milwaukee because of the great classes, instructors, owner, and community of people. If you're looking for people to share the passion of barre - and fitness in general - this is the place to go to.

Barre3 Milwaukee is such a special place! I so enjoy my visits there when work brings me to Milwaukee. The staff is super friendly, the space is clean and well-organized. There are two changing rooms and plenty of lockers to secure your stuff during class. The studio itself is beautiful--gorgeous river views!

An amazing Community with fantastic teachers in a judge free zone. Ample times per day and all classes are a little different with the same signature twist. I particularly enjoy the Sunday 10 am 60 minute signature barre class. Walk out feeling energetic while the low key creep of soreness lets you know you got a great work out in. The owner rocks and her “hi love” every time you see her will immediately put a smile on your face. 100% recommend!

I LOVE barre3 Milwaukee! I'm very much someone who gets stuck in my own ways but I am so thankful I tried something new and did the first free class a few months ago. I tried the barre3 Signature 45 class and fell in love instantly, such a good workout! I also started taking the new Mindful Flow class and both of them are the best classes to incorporate into my workout regime! The flow of the classes really keep you focused and are never boring. I have noticed a huge difference in my stability, core strength and muscle tone since I started. The best aspect is the safe and judgement free environment, this is really hard to find at gyms in Milwaukee and they do such a good job of welcoming everyone in and making this space safe and doable for all levels. The more classes I take, the more this studio feels like family!

I’m a member at Barre3 in Michigan, but I’m visiting Milwaukee with my family this week so took class. The studio is stunning and so clean. Really great view of the river walk. Class was challenging and fun, I love the signature class. Parking is a little bit of an issue but I parked on a side street a few blocks away.

You enter a vibrant environment well organized, laid out, and with convenient storage space. It's time for a workout. First class a very warm "hello" is written on the white board

The instructors: Born either in Themyscira, Mt. Olympus, Atlantis, or where ever peak athletes are from, they are somehow able to not only do the work out, but say words that are not simply prayers to make it through the awesome but TOUGH class

The workouts: SO HARD. They somehow never get easier in the best of ways. You can always compete against yourself and the environment is conducive to pushing yourself in a safe, even fun way.

Summary: This is a great place to mix it up and work your body to new levels. For traditional lifters, if you need some cross training / stability support, barre is your workout, hands down. The set up, the team, and the workouts make this place an 11/ 10

The Barre Code makes exercise accessible and enjoyable for all. They offer a variety of classes and the instructors offer modifications and advancements in each class in order for you to meet your personal goals. You walk out of each class feeling empowered and strong. Trying a new work out studio can feel intimidating but the barre code has a great and supportive environment that will make you want to keep coming back. Jamie (the owner) is resilient and welcoming! She takes the time to learn your name and talk to every one that walks through her door! You can feel her passion for the studio and the community. She makes each person feel like they’re apart of a community! I used to feel that exercise was a burden and something I just had to get through but the barre code has really altered my view into seeing movement as medicine! As the studio transitions to barre3, I can guarantee you that it’ll only get better from here!

TBC is my absolute favorite place to work out! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the studio is consistently clean. All the instructors, especially Jamie, Mikela, and Lauren, are fantastic – you can’t go wrong with any of them. I’ve been coming to The Barre Code since 2017 and absolutely love it! The atmosphere, instructors, and classes are great and everyone is so supportive. Regardless of how long you’ve been a member, each class is a challenge where you can continue to push yourself. TBC embeds a healthy approach towards working out; it’s not focused on getting skinny/earning your calories but rather listening to your body and building strength. Can’t recommend it enough!

The barre code is like no other place. Jamie, the instructors, and community push you to reach your fitness goal and change your mindset around food and exercise. I came to the barre code after years of not exercising Jamie and the other instructors made me feel confident and comfortable at the studio and I have never looked back. This studio is such a supportive, fun community! Class varieties allow you to pick the type of workout you need (cardio, strength, flexibility). There are plenty of class times which makes it easy to add to my weekly schedule.

After growing up dancing and dancing through college, I couldn’t find a workout that I actually enjoyed anywhere. This is the first place that I found where I look forward to coming to classes and have even turned myself into a morning person with the 5:45am classes!
The studio is so cute and clean. The staff are the most amazing, friendly, and welcoming people. The upbeat playlists and motivating instruction is exactly what you need during a workout. This is absolutely a judgement free zone and there are modifications for all movements!

A little pricey but the workouts are great and they have some discounts, fun challenges and free weeks. Brawl (kickboxing meets dance routine) is a very popular workout here. Mainly young women are in the classes, but some men do show up occasionally.

I have only been a member of the Barre Code for a little over a month now, but I am so glad I joined! They have the best variety of workouts (my favorite is barre) at different times during the day which makes it super easy to find a class. I always leave the classes so sweaty and feeling so good. My favorite part of TBC has to be the shared mindset of loving your body and being proud of the strength you have, instead of focusing on being a different size and shape. No body shaming - only body positivity! The instructors are amazing and incredibly motivating, encouraging, and push you to be your best. I can’t wait to continue growing and becoming my strongest self.

I'm not going to lie.. i dont love working out. HOWEVER.. this is changing thanks to the Barre code! The first few classes were hard.. hard hard. BUT i could do it.. and i felt so good after (even though i was still shaky muscles for a hot minute! ha ha ha! ). However... class 3-- it turned around. I was picking up on the moves and understanding the flow and the cues better. It was still so challenging but i wasnt so sore after! By class 5, I absolutely started seeing changes in my body.. you know you are working out muscles you dont normally use and it is adding to muscle definition. I"m hooked. Now i look FORWARD to coming to class! I've never looked forward to working out in my life. Seriously. Its a community and Jamie is so supportive and up beat!

The Barre Code Milwaukee has become an absolute must in my weekly routine! I've never been overly comfortable in group workout classes, but everyone here has been super friendly and welcoming. There is never any judgement if you need to modify the exercises to make it easier or more challenging on your muscles. TBC MKE is my happy place. I’ve been taking classes for 8+ years and could count on one hand the times I took the same class twice. I love the variety of class formats (barre, strength training, HIIT, bootcamp, cardio kickboxing). I’ve only been going here 4 times so far but definitely will be joining for more. Love The Barre Code. It’s pricey, but for what they offer I think it’s worth it (balance between barre for strength - derived from ballet using the bars; and bootcamp+HIIT for weight loss). It depends how you do your workouts, but I like to have instructors else I’m just a lazy bean. Clean and chic with great staffs!
