Playing 18 holes today on a busy Saturday. A group of kids (foresome) jumped 2 holes and decided to tee off as we were putting. We asked them to stop and go back to their place in line. They didnβt listen and proceeded to make us wait as they continued to tee off. We called the clubhouse and asked for a ranger to come and take care of this. 2 holes later the ranger comes and tells us he will take care of it. Instead of putting the kids back in their original place in line he proceeded let them tee off in front of us and allowed them to jump in front of someone else on the other course. Kids were lipping off at us and the ranger rewarded these kids by allowing them to continue to play golf verses putting them back in line. The ranger didnβt do his job and now these kids think they can get away breaking the rules.

We booked the tee time without knowing anything about the golf course complex. We played the White Birch course and was very happy with the playability of the golf course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in excellent condition.
The staff was very friendly, welcoming us to the course. They even took some time to give us a few tips for playing the course.
We plan to return and play the Blue Spruce course in the near future.

I am on the 11th hole right now and the sign on the front door states 90 degrees today with carts. The GPS has been ststing we are 4 to 5 mins behind! We'll we let 2 players play through, being NICE! But
still we got ran by the ranger. Plus the great gps here keeps going off on par 4's & 5's when I drove 90 DEGREES! I have been golfing for 43 years and this is definitely the worst experience I have ever had on a golf course!!!! Thanks for the fricken relaxing round! I will not be recommending this course to anyone, if fact, I will tell them to stay away. On top of all of this, we had the ranger bugged us 5 times for pace of play, after we let 2 players go thru ahead of us to help. I am shocked and stunned of the customer service. Relaxing golf....uh right!

NO WATER TO DRINK ON COURSE. Course is good lay out. Maintenance staff is rude and doesnβt stop mowing. But expect to almost die on a sunny hot day with no access to water unless itβs in the clubhouse. Have one teenager for the entire property that doesnβt even stop to ask if you need anything as well.

Was told myself and another could not golf today because they have leagues. As I was told this I am looking out at white birch hole one and tee box on hole two. There is not a single golfer out there nor any waiting to tee off. Still βJohnβ continues to tell me I cannot get out there to play. I finally accept that I am not going to play so I leave as Iβm driving back home I see that there is multiple tee times open and one even open for 25 minutes laterβ¦ I call the pro shop to be told I canβt play solo. But I was not alone there were two of us I simply went in by myself to pay for the both of us. I was not asked if I was alone or with anyone, if I was playing 9 or 18 if I wanted a cart not asked anything just told I cannot play. THENNNN βJohnβ tells me over the phone while Iβm already halfway home that I can actually come back and we can playβ¦.. I love this course and play here multiple times a week at times. But this pissed me off absolute nonsense and a waste of time all due to the pro shop not understanding whatβs happening at their course and their failure to care enough or take the time to ask one simple question instead just says no you canβt get out to play today. I will not be returning to this course for awhile

Great golf course. Very reasonable prices. Can get busy. At least 4 hours needed to finish 18 holes. Can be challenging and some holes are super long. Spare golf balls recommended. Very easy to loose a ball at this huge place between trees and high grass and some water.

Course is always good. Played the red 9 at the crack of dawn. Course is in good shape and the setting is beautiful. They cleared some trees on the left side of the first hole and are making a new set of tees for the hole. Making a new driving range and what appears to be a larger putting green. For the price, this place is tough to top.

Yesterday, I brought my 3 sons to golf at Brighton Dale. It was our first time at the course. Overall, it was a good course (White Birch) and the people at the golf shop and ranger were very friendly. However, the woman who was coordinating the golf cart area was VERY RUDE. While I was checking us in at the golf shop, my sons were outside waiting for me and she made several comments about waiting on us in a not so nice tone and they did not have keys to move the carts (waiting for me to check in). After I came out of the golf shop, we walked over to our carts and she proceeded to follow us and watch us load our bags onto the carts and just stared at us the whole time with not a nice expression. Not sure we will come back to the course and I will definitely pass along our experience to friends and family. It's a shame that one person had to act that way our first time at the course.

I went out here and golfed 18 holes on the "White" course. We went off at 6:30am in order to avoid a lot of other golfers. Our foursome teed off and 1 hole later we found that the clubhouse had sent a single player right after. We got pressed and let the single player play through, now we were behind pace for the rest of the round and everything that we wanted to avoid ended up running into us.βΉοΈ

Golfed here for the first time recently, it is a beautiful course and well maintained - however - pace of play was awful, rangers were not doing a good job moving slower groups along, took me over 2.5 hours to golf 9 holes. The cart girl also skipped me 2 times while I was waving her down.
Course was great
Experience was not

Course is great been going there for years and good value for the price. Rangers dont care at all there are no rules here pace of play not enforced. New people not asked to play a tee up and they certainly allow more than 4somes. If you want to play a 6+ hour round with rangers that dont care. Theres 1 guy in the proshop worth anything all the others talk to you like youre an idiot or just stare at you.

World class golf establishment with a very friendly and professional staff. Been playing Kenosha golf courses for years and Brighton Dale is far superior than other courses in Kenosha county. Iβve taken lessons from the head and assistant pro at Brighton Dale, both were extremely knowledgeable on the game of golf. Brought my handicap down from a 14 to a 4 handicap over a 2 year stretch of lessons. Hats off to both Doug and Danial.
Course conditions here are far superior than other local courses. With a very cheap price of $50 for a weekend round. This is a very well maintained and professional managed course. A hidden gem in the state of Wisconsin. Easily a top 10 public course in the state. 3 different courses all designed very differently! My personal favorite is the White Birch.
Only complaint Iβve had is pace of play at times can be long, the golf course at times can be littered with slow bad golfers. If youβre a bad golfer (a golfer that shoots over 90) I would recommend playing the forward tees as both 18 hole courses at Brighton Dale can be challenging.

Where to Start with Brighton.....first....its great that it has three courses....2 18's and a 9.
Great courses. Very well manicured.
The only thing is sometimes that rough is like 70's shag carpet....so you really need to hit the fairways...The carts have GPS, which is great. The clubhouse has good food. They have a driving range as well....
And the price is not bad at all....
You'll like it.

Course was packed on a Saturdayβ¦ never thought that would happen! Sarcasm of course. But youβd think the ranger in orange who had a cig lit each time we saw him wouldβve noticed that. Told us we had to hurry up after we teeβd off 20 minutes late... so we were actually right on time even slightly ahead of pace but not according to the handy dandy screens they have on the carts. In a large split group and of course we ended up catching up with each other and playing some holes together. Threatened to kick us off the course for it. Let his buddies in a foursome βhe knewβ in front of us play 2 balls per person the entire 18 and never questioned it only saying βoh I know them they only do that on the first holeββ¦. Caught up to them 3 times and yet said we were holding up the whole course. Guy is rude and arrogant and was smoking a cig right in my buddies face. Course should be ashamed to have a guy like that working for them. Just drove a group of us away from ever coming back.

Teed off 25 minutes late because of the group of 4 in front of us was playing 2 balls each. But I guess it was our fault for slowing down everyone behind us. If you know the course ranger/manager, you can do whatever you want. Ranger didn't care that we brought this up.
Course conditions were fine but after being told "if we don't hurry up, we're going to be asked to leave", the beauty of the course was forgotten, we were worried about getting kicked out because of the group in front of us.
No one was complaining except the staff. The cart timer went from being on time, to being "25 minutes" behind. Will not be back. Overpriced, mediocre course.

It's my home course. The price for the shape of the courses can't be beat. Since there are two 18s and a nine, you can almost always get a tee time even in the busy months. They added two simulators, so now I go even during the winter.
The pro shop has great deals on gear and apparel as well as knowledgeable, friendly staff.

Love the course and have been there many times. Took my daughter as a ride along several times this summer with no issue. Tried to play this mid-afternoon (a Thursday in November), course wasn't super busy and they would not let my soon to be 4 year old ride along in the cart with me
Have absolutely never heard of a local public course refusing to let kids ride along. Any other parents may want to find an alternative as I'll now be doing. Very disappointed as my son has been asking for months to ride along and thought this would be a good chance to teach him more about the game (he has his own clubs and practices now and then).

Well, first off, I am an employee of the golf course, so I may seem biased. But this is a very nice piece of Kenosha County. The baseball complex is awesome. There is a park with a good fishing lake for kids. There are some good hiking trails and nice picnic areas. Mostly under used. Now the golf course is 45 holes, good rates, beautiful scenery deer, turkey, red fox, cranes and countless birds abound. Does get crowded on weekends, make tee times in advance, be punctual and considerable of others. Snack bar has outstanding food and drinks are reasonable. Worth a visit.

I am an avid golfer about 2 to 3 days a week with my friend we took my dad who golfs and my brother who flew in from Dallas and on the third hole the Ranger came and told us we needed to pick up our ball and move to the next hole mind you there was nobody behind us waiting to golf there were people in front of us we could not even go any further forward the Ranger persisted to bother me causing my game to fall apart I made him go get his supervisor and the supervisor told me everything was fine it really ruined the day and made for a horrible experience the worst $55 Iβve ever spent in my life I will never return back to a Kenosha county golf course again that being said pets golf course l, municipal golf course, or Brightondale I will stick to the normal places that I go Meadowbrook country club, Maplecrest, Johnsons Park.
I donβt get harassed at those places and my average score is a 51. I even called and spoke to the Director who oversees all Kenosha County golf courses and was very unsatisfied with his response did not even receive an apology he complained to me and said it shouldnβt take five hours to golf. First off I didnβt take five hours we were done in four hours and 10 minutes but I signed up to play 18 holes I did not realize that it was a timed course so for any of you who are looking for a good time to golf do not go to Brighton Dale Links

I'm leaving one star for one reason. Doug is arrogant, rude & unprofessional. I will not patronize this place.

Lucked out finding this GEM on our way through town.
Beautiful course. Fairways were tight, greens were fast yet receptive.
Staff was friendly. Pace of play was perfect.
We played the Blue course, we hope to make the 3 hour drive to play the other 27 holes.

Well kept great course. Nice and long. Challenging in all the right ways and a little forgiving if you need it

Played the White course. What a great course. It was in great shape even though it was very wet, cart path only. I will definitely play again.

This was a wonderful course, really nice fairways and great airation on the greens. There's a few holes where it can be confusing which flag you're supposed to hit to, but if you follow the cart paths you'll be fine.
