I want to thank Coach April for bringing gymnastics into our lives and sparking the joy, drive, determination, and passion in our then 7-year-old—joy that still lives in her today as a competitive gymnast, almost eight years later. Her coaching and guidance through those early years have given our daughter a place to belong through all the unknowns that come with being a military child.

I’ve also had the privilege of knowing Coach April as a boss, mentor, and friend—and I can’t say which relationship means the most. She has so much to offer in every role she plays, and the amount of personal and professional growth she’s inspired in me is something I can’t put into words.

Coach April and her staff bring a true gift to the Verona community and to every child who walks through the doors of Capital.

I can’t recommend Capital Gymnastics enough for anyone looking for a place to start their little one’s gymnastics (or Ninja!) journey, those seeking a truly supportive and growing team program, or anyone interested in coaching. All around 5 stars!

The facility is stunningly pristine. When I inquired about classes for my daughter, the staff (Emily) was exceptionally courteous and prompt, unlike other places where responses are often lacking. We're eagerly anticipating the classes.

We had our daughter's 9th birthday party at Capital Gymnastics & I absolutely cannot rave enough about how amazing they were! Not only did they coordinate an hour of play for the group of nearly 20 kids (!!), but then for the next 45 minutes of gift opening & cake, they were SO helpful! Distributing the cake to waiting kids, helping me settle them when they got too rambunctious, showing kids to the bathroom to wash up. They even wrote a gift list of who to thank for which gifts - without being asked! Top notch!!

Capital Gymnastics is a fantastic gym for all things! Our kids have taken Gymnastics, Ninja Force, Capital Adventure Night, and recently held a birthday party where we heard more than one “best party ever!” All have been outstanding. The kids have a blast, the coaches are kind, the owner goes above and beyond, the gym is set up well, and safety is a priority. So glad for Capital Gymnastics in the Verona community!

I can't say enough good things about Capital Gymnastics. My daughter is the only kid I know who is excited for Mondays (she calls them "gymnastics Mondays".)

The facility is clean and the kids are able to spread out. There are plenty of places where parents can sit and watch their kids learn so you don't have to sit elbow to elbow with other people.

The instructors are fantastic and they really pay attention to the kids and not only notice their improvements right away, but they also notice when they're struggling and take time out one on one to help them.

The classes are smaller which is nice and it allows for more one on one time to accomplish personal goals.

It's such a positive environment.

The owner is phenomenal and you can tell she has a true passion for training the kids and takes the time to get to know each and every person that walks through the door.

We had been to a few gyms prior to this and are so impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail here. They by far stand out against their competitors.

We were members of Capital for 11 months. In that time they made changes to their class offerings 3 times (increasing class size in a pandemic and offering co-occurring classes during a pandemic). These changes had a direct impact on my daughters experience. The increase in class size (without notice) increased her possible exposure to COVID -19 and the co-occurring class also increased exposure but also, limited access to the gym and served as a distraction during her class time. When I provided feedback stating that communication would be appreciated, I was essentially “kicked out” - they refunded my money and wished me well finding a gym that “is more to [our] liking” (without request or consent). I requested to speak with the owner (April) and was told by the receptionist (Inga) that the owner was out of office with no certainty on return date. The customer service and communication was atrocious. The owner was unwilling/unable to take responsibility for her negligence or appropriately communicate. I will never spend another dime at capital gymnastics nor will I recommend it to anyone.

We love Capital Gymnastics! Our seven year old daughter started a few months ago, with absolutely no prior experience. She is showing rapid progress, and building great confidence with the help of the coaches. We love that the coaching staff is very knowledgeable with respect to form and technique, but they make the classes enjoyable for the kids! I also love the style of the classes, in that ALL of the kids are always moving. They have several stations going at once, and various skills are practiced simultaneously, so that no child is sitting around watching another child. I would highly recommend Capital Gymnastics to anyone looking for a program with strong coaching in a fun environment!

We had our 8 year old twins birthday party today and they did any incredible job. Almost 20 kids of varying ages and they all had a blast. The coaches were interacting with all the kids the entire time and they even helped in serving the cake in party room. This was the perfect place for a birthday party, kids all had a blast and I was able to sit back and enjoy! Thank you Capital gymnastics!
