This review is long overdue, but Collective Flow is the best yoga studio I have ever been to. I moved to Milwaukee about four years ago without knowing anyone and was lucky to stumble upon this studio. Jess, Mike, and Emily were so welcoming right from the start, and had lots of great classes in-studio, virtually, and at other cool places around the area.

The studio itself is a great space. Tucked into a nice neighborhood on the Lower East Side, the space is cozy and welcoming. There is water and tea available when you come in, plenty of props to use, and great lighting for whatever the tone of practice is. My personal favorite class was a yin yoga that they offered on Sunday nights, so having a nice dimly-lit studio helped me relax.

There are a large variety of classes, from gentle vinyasa flows to HIIT or power flows, there are plenty of opportunities to take whatever type of practice you need. They also offer unique classes every so often, partnering with local establishments, health and wellness instructors, and get creative with different workshops. Every class I've been to has been taught well and the instructors have the interests of the students in mind.

What truly makes Collective Flow stand out though are the people. Jess, Mike, and Emily have cultivated an incredible community and put thought and effort into everything they do. From trash pickups in the neighborhood to little things like asking about my day, they make the yoga experience fun and more than just a class. They have become great friends and I'm so thankful that I found the studio all those years ago!

I was in town for a wedding and was able to maintain my regular Saturday morning yoga practice at this little spot. I was able to book ahead of time and I’m glad I did because it’s not a real big space but that gives it a personal, charming and cozy community vibe. I got to meet Jess (owner) and her mom and the business was also celebrating their 4 year anniversary (congrats!). The space is gorgeous and the class was delightful. If I lived in Milwaukee, this would be my yoga home for sure. I will definitely find my way back here the next time we are in town. Namaste!

I lucked out when I was 'shopping' for a yoga studio. I bought the two week pass to try it out, and planning to do the same at other studios once my time was up, but after my first class, I knew I was home. I transitioned right into a monthly membership when my two weeks was up. Instruction is top notch, and it truly is a non-judgement zone. And the workshop options are great!

I also love the flexibility they have with online offerings. It's nice to be able to go to my regular classes when it's not possible to get to the studio.

I don't really know how to put into words how much this beautiful little studio has meant to my life over the past year and half. I felt broken and defeated after a series of serious life situations and was struggling to say the least. The warm and come-exactly-as-you-are vibe Jess and Mike have created was what I needed to slowly find my strength again. Fantastic variety of classes and every instructor has their own flavor but a genuine sense of care and support is at the heart of all of it. I just recently moved out of state for a new job and am confidently stepping into a new life thanks in part to the time I spent in this lovely yoga community. Thankfully I can still zoom in for classes until I find yoga home in my new city but can honestly say I don't think I will find somewhere as wonderful as Collective Flow. Can't say enough good things and am forever grateful for the time I spent there.

I have been to several yoga studios in the past (some I loved, some not so much) so when I took my first class at Collective Flow I knew that it was a space I wanted to practice in. It feels so cozy and intimate from the moment you step in and the feeling of support and respect stays with you even after you leave. The team here has thought through every detail that has made this studio one of a kind!

I started a weight loss and a personal growth journey several months ago. Collective Flow offered me everything I needed. Cardio and weight training (weight loss) and multiple yoga class for my spiritual growth. I was out of shape AND over 60 years old. I received support, made new friends and am now a part of a beautiful community. I'm stronger both inside and outside.

After being away from yoga for about 2 years, I was looking to get back into it. The 2 week trial allowed me to experience all the classes and find the ones I enjoyed and fit my schedule. Great selection of classes, phenomenal instructors, and tranquil environment. As a member, you’ll feel like a part of Jess & Mike’s family. So glad I found Collective Flow!

I’ve been wanting to write a review for so long about Collective Flow but haven’t because I truly can’t find the words to describe how incredible this place is. I still don’t have the words, but here’s my attempt!

Collective Flow is a warm, inclusive, and thoughtful place. When my partner and I moved to Milwaukee from Austin, we really wanted to find a community-oriented studio to practice yoga, and that’s exactly what Collective Flow is - a vibrant community. We both have practiced yoga for many years, and we can confidently say that this studio is the best studio we have ever been a part of!

From the fun workshops and seasonal challenges to studio outings and chatting before + after class, the Collective Flow team has thought of so many ways to create connection. In addition to the wonderful community, there are so many thoughtful touches in the studio (warm + iced tea before class, natural + non-toxic body products in the bathroom, cute neon sign + plant babies). Every aspect of the business is intentional, and Jess + Mike + Emily + the rest of the team have done a fantastic job taking the time to listen and provide an experience that is valuable to every person who walks through the door. This place is not just a place I go to move my body, but it’s a place that truly feels close to my heart. Whenever we have friends and family visit from Milwaukee, we always try to get them to attend a class with us because we want to share the amazing experience with everyone.

Collective Flow is a cozy and welcoming space to practice yoga. All of the instructors are positive, uplifting people who give a lot of options throughout class. I feel fully supported here in meeting my body where it's at on any given day. The studio space is also lovely. There's nothing like being greeted by plants, light and a warm cup of tea to get you in the head space for class. I'm so grateful to have Collective Flow as my yoga home!

I recently started joining classes at Collective Flow MKE and I absolutely adore this studio. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming/non judgemental and the space itself feels like a second comfy home. There’s a variety of classes, the pricing is very fair and the times are spread out enough to where it’s super compatible with the free spaces in my personal schedule. While not a primary reason for attending classes, the complimentary tea is a cherry on top :) Highly recommend joining!

I finally found my “movement” home. Any doubts, anxiety, or fear I had about walking into a new space to practice and exercise with others melted away after my first class at Collective Flow. They truly mean “all are welcome.” The space is a ~vibe~ and the instructors are incredibly thoughtful and fun, making each class uniquely awesome. So happy to be on my movement journey in this place and with these people.

Collective flow is a safe and welcoming space! It’s evident that Jess and Mike have been very intentional with creating a calming and inclusive atmosphere and pay attention to all the details. This includes all the plants, a clean and great smelling studio, complementary tea, plenty of blocks, blankets, bolsters, and other props. I also appreciate the variety of classes from slow flow to power up! All the instructors are caring and help with any adaptations you might need. I’m so grateful for this studio. After deciding that I needed a break from a specific hot yoga studio, I was nervous about adjusting to a new space. Cue the little oasis that is Collective Flow. All the small details add to its charm… the natural light, the plants, the decor, and the overall welcoming feeling you get when you walk in. If you were a regular at Urban Om or Siddhi Yoga like I was, this would be a great transition for you. Collective Flow has been a safe space for me to recommit to my yoga practice in the company of amazing instructors and a diverse range of yogis. I love looking around the room and seeing different modifications for poses and different body shapes and sizes. I also appreciate that I still feel challenged, but I can make the sequences work for me regardless of where my body, mind, and emotions are at that day. You can be yourself here, and I love that the instructors model this daily.

As someone who has always struggled to love going to the gym, or even really even just enjoy working out...all I can say is that this place and the community has completely changed that for me!!
Every single one of the instructors is empowering, understanding and supportive. If you struggle with a pose, or a new class style, you NEVER feel judged by them or the other people in the class.
Jess and Mike are the most humble and wonderful people. They are just doing what they love, and you can tell from the first time you step into the studio.
If you're even thinking about giving them a try...don't think twice. You will NEVER regret spending time at Collective Flow.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Collective Flow!

I've been taking Virtual Classes periodically and can't wait to branch out into their other classes and services. At one point, I wasn't able to get into a class because of a technical issue on my end, and Jess and Mike responded to my email SO quickly and made sure that I got well beyond my money's worth by not only getting me into a make up class but offering to spend time with me personally (free of charge) to resolve the issue!
It's clear to me that Mike and Jess are not only phenomenal human beings, but are so extremely passionate and talented with what they do here. I leave every interaction with Collective Flow feeling mentally and physically rejuvenated and joyful.
Also, I LOVE how CF focuses on holistic/3-Dimensional health and wellness! It's so much more than yoga or a "workout" - it's a mental escape, a safe place, and an environment where they clearly care about how people are doing all around. I never feel like someone is trying to sell me anything, and I love that the philosophies of CF encourage me to explore my own health from ALL angles, not only physical fitness. People and wellness come first here, not business, and I love that.

Jess and Mike have perfected the virtual classes- lots of class times, still have the in class feel of music/community. Restore flow is the PERFECT wind-down class and my husband even loves it (NOT a yogi). Whether you want a slow flow or a sweaty hour of weights- definitely try Collective Flow! Cant wait to take class in person when I visit MKE!

I’ve really enjoyed my experience with Mike and Jess so far! Ive taken a class with each one of them leading and I love how friendly they are. I find social situations difficult and they made me feel at ease, which is something I definitely appreciate as a new client.

The variety in their yoga classes allows you to find a class for your energy level while also offering the option of in person and virtual sessions. So far I have done RestoreFlow and Yogaup. Restore flow allowed me to unwind and stretch at a slower pace on a day I didnt feel like moving. While YogaUp incorporated weights, really made me sweat, and gave me a great full body workout. No matter your energy they have a class to fit it!

My first introduction to CollectiveFlow MKE was through a in-Studio class in Kind Oasis and it being my first in- person yoga class in a long time in 2020, it was truly fantastic and fulfilling.

Mike and Jess through their yoga classes help you not only serve your physical health but also support your spiritual and mental well being. Their classes are available in virtual and in studio. They are easy to reach and very friendly and are always open for feedback. Yoga to them is a medium to check in with other human beings and they do it really well.

They do a ton of collaborations with local MKE businesses (loved locally made Miss Mary's cocktails after yoga) which have been incredibly eye opening. Their yoga studio is inside Kind Oasis which is a local CBD business (a must visit after yoga).

Consider CollectiveFlow MKE as your home for all your physical, mental, spiritual needs, I have benefitted immensely from this business, I hope you do to! ‍
