The best gym in Fox Point, WI, CrossFit Good Land provides a place to share your successes and work your weaknesses. Together, with our highly knowledgeable coaches, we learn, grow, make progress and help you achieve your health and fitness goals. We are located on the north end of the RiverPoint Village shopping complex next to Lou Malnati's.

Coach Sarah and her team are second to none. They have built a great community where people feel welcome and are encouraged to be the best versions of themselves. The equipment is high quality as is the programming, coaching, and classes offered. I've been going for 3 months and am fortunate to have made this our (wife and I) gym home.

CrossFit Goodland has been absolutely life changing for my mental, physical and emotional well being. I was referred to Sarah for personal training after having my second baby and, although I had never been to a CrossFit gym, I felt immediately comfortable in her presence. She took the time to get to know me, provided a safe place for me to re-enter the exercise world, and helped me find the inner athlete I had forgotten I once was. But the best thing about CrossFit Goodland is the kind, supportive and motivating community. I’ve tried a lot of workout classes, programs and gyms, but nothing compares to CrossFit Goodland. What Sarah and the team have created is something truly special and I am so grateful to be a part of it.

Very highly recommended!! The coaching staff cares about your form and safety. I am a ‘seasoned’ 😏 athlete dealing with old injuries from long ago, and the coach always offers modifications as needed. And the community is so supportive and welcoming, I was made to feel like I was a long time member at day 1. Give it a try, you will be so happy you did!

I did a drop in class here. The owner (Sarah) was the coach when I dropped in. She took time to show me where everything was and get to know me. I am recovering from an injury and she checked in to make sure everything felt good, and gave modifications for all the workout movements. Everyone was very welcoming, introducing themselves and cheering everyone on. I’ll definitely be back- a friendly, encouraging (but still challenging) group workout!

Hands down the best gym in the North Shore area. The classes are challenging but modified for each athlete's needs. I'm so excited that Sarah opened CrossFit Good Land. I have been a member since November 2024. I have previously done CrossFit for about five years, but it's been several years since that time. I'm a runner by trade, and have found previously that CrossFit is a great complement to running, and my results from CFGL have been no exception.

The workouts are tough and varied, and very scalable. Sarah always has a purpose with how she programs blocks of skill sets (e.g., working through deadlifts and snatches through a 3-4 week plan) and her classes are very organized and flow smoothly. The classes start with some warmup stretches and mobility exercises that will help prep for the WOD. No matter what version of the exercise you can do, or choose to do, there is no judgment and only encouragement.

I really love the vibe of CFGL. I feel supported with the individualized attention as well as group support from other members. In some other gyms, I've found that it was a little too "gym bro" but CFGL doesn't have that feeling to me at all.

There's also other cool happenings at the gym outside of the classes like quarterly donation drives for local non-profits, running and rowing challenges, a couch to 5K program, and doing bingo cards! (You can also try to find mini squishmallows around the gym for more lighthearted fun!) Wodify is used to sign up for workouts and track results. There are 5:30 am, 8:30 am, and 5:30 pm classes currently, with two open gym days during the week and a Saturday morning WOD class.

Yes, it's expensive, but 110% worth the price. Rather than going to a gym and getting bored, struggling to design a workout plan for yourself, or randomly staring at the wall on an elliptical machine for 45 minutes, come to CFGL to get great programming and super awesome coaching in a supportive, welcoming environment.

As a former Ironman triathlete, I used to thrive in the long grind, the endless miles, and the sheer endurance challenge. Then kids came along, and my “Ironman training” quickly became “stroller jogging”, “chasing after toddlers”, “running with kids on bikes”, and “squeezing in runs whenever possible” for the last decade. I’ve pounded out countless 5Ks and marathons since then, still loving the run, but something was always missing: that foundational, functional strength that makes you feel robust and resilient, especially after years of cardio.

That’s why I decided to try CrossFit. It’s the missing link that I have always needed. The coaches at CrossFit Good Land are amazing! They don’t just put you through a tough workout; they meticulously teach proper movement patterns and lifting techniques, which is crucial for someone like me who has put thousands of miles on their body. I’m not just getting stronger; I’m learning how to move better, which directly translates to functional daily activities, like unloading the dishwasher and carrying laundry, as well as feeling more powerful and less prone to injury on my bike rides and runs.

I love the workouts because they are intense and hit muscle groups in ways that running and triathlon never could. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my legs, core, and upper body strength that supports all of my other current sports/activities (running, cycling, tennis). Additionally, the community here is incredible - a super supportive group that pushes you, celebrates every PR (personal record), and genuinely makes you feel like you belong. If you’re an endurance athlete, especially a runner or triathlete, who’s realized the critical need for strength and true functional fitness, CrossFit Good Land is an absolute game-changer. It’s the perfect compliment to those miles and helps build an unshakable base!

The programming is awesome, and I really enjoy the workouts. More importantly, though, is that I feel comfortable at the gym. There isn't the typical "bro mentality" that you find at a lot of CrossFit gyms. Everyone is supportive, non-judgmental if you need to scale the workout, and genuinely wants to see everyone succeed as a group.

CrossFit Good Land is an excellent gym with a great group of coaches. I appreciate that there are morning and evening class options and that signing up for classes is so flexible. The coaches help keep you accountable without pressing you or being pushy about getting in more which is great in my opinion. Every workout is a challenge but the coaches and other members are all extremely welcoming and make sure everyone is able to be successful.
