Dan was my trainer. I have learned so much from him, he thought me a lot about the importance of eating healthy and worked with me to made sure I got my protein, carb and fat intake in. He also worked well to make a solid workout plan for me to match my goals. Then disaster struck… I had heart and lung problems that I had to go to the hospital for, but have since recovered. I let him know this, and he went out of his way to make sure he let me know he cared and hoped I felt better. Training with Dan not only helped me work on my workout goals but also gave me motivation to keep going and strive for who I wanted to be.

As a previous client of Dan, I couldn’t recommend his approach more. His willingness to help you reach the goals you want to achieve is his main goal, but he pushes you further. In my experience he does this by giving you insight on nutrition and a detailed workout plan that is designed around you. He made showing up for workouts enjoyable, which usually felt like a chore. Dan always had a smile on his face and was ready to a get things going! I think the biggest factor that kept me on my weight loss journey was knowing he was giving me credible information to improve the work I did at the gym, but also reaching out to me personally giving me inspiration and goals to achieve when we weren’t working out. Having a trainer never felt like something I would personally do, but given the chance I had with him, he showed me it’s obtainable and not as difficult as you imagine if your willing to apply his advice consistently. I was able to lose 25 pounds in just a little over two months, while growing muscle at the same time! That being said, I think his enthusiasm for my change was higher than my own enthusiasm. He truly wants success for whoever he trains or works with. Dan has changed my outlook on fitness and health entirely for the better. This was the first time I saw and kept real results after putting in the work. I can’t thank him enough for his knowledge or willingness to be an open book but also his empathic side where he gets to know you more as an individual and about things you enjoy outside of work/gym. I can’t thank him enough for getting me started but staying with me even when things got challenging.

I was a client of Dan's when he was a personal trainer. He was always friendly and good to talk to, and he definitely knows what he's talking about when it comes to fitness. I went into it just expecting a workout routine but he also delved into my nutrition, and encouraged personal accountability on both fronts. I’ve had the opportunity to work with Dan, and I can’t rave enough about how much he’s helped me better understand nutrition. I had always paid attention to what I ate, but I never truly broke down how food impacted me until I started working with him.

I’ve had the pleasure to work with Dan Christensen on my journey to living a healthier and active life. Before Dan, I was not really balancing my nutritional intake, and my activity was pretty non existent, other than the walking I did at my work. I thought the healthy foods I was eating, and the occasional snacks here and there were okay, I didn’t consume a lot of sugar, if any, but the makeup of the nutrition I was consuming was not balanced, nor enough. I was actually not doing my body any good by not knowing what I was REALLY eating. With Dan’s coaching, paired with the “MyFitnessPal” app, I was able to attain the important nutrients and exercise needed to IMPROVE and live a healthier life. I payed better attention to what I was eating.
Dan stayed very active in my journey through weekly phone meetings, and daily texts. Dan did not slam me, right away, with “you gotta eat this” and “you gotta do that”. Through his weekly meetings and daily texts, he assessed your progress and then introduced the next steps, challenging you, but not overly challenging you. Dan made it easy, and compromising.
I would HIGHLY recommend Dan to anyone looking for some direction and knowledge in improving their health and fitness. HE’S THE REAL DEAL folks.
