About the Club

We are Sauk Prairies FIRST Pilates/Wellness studio opening in 2013. We have a decade of serving our community and helping people feel good in their body. Our private lesson and small group class studio offers instruction in both Pilates and Barre. We are here to help clients reach their goals through movement. There is a class for EVERY body on our schedule.

I just started going to EJ Movement a couple weeks ago & I cannot get enough! The instructors are friendly & knowledgeable. I am new to Pilates which felt a little intimidating, but they make me feel so comfortable. I have never found exercise that didn’t feel like a chore until now. My only regret is taking so long to get started!

Emily is a great Pilates instructor! Being a Pilates beginner, I am currently taking personal classes, so I can be more comfortable during the learning process. She makes sure to throughly explain each move, is patient, and teaches you how to engage your body in an effective way. My diastasis recti (the mommy pooch) is healing as well with Pilates. Can’t recommend enough!

Writing reviews is not my strong point but this one is easy …. Started at EJMovement last May after having foot surgery. I knew I needed a new start with my new foot. Emily is helping me tremendously to get my strength, balance and drive back. After weight training for the past 10 years, I realized that Pilates is a more effective way to do it! At 65 this is my new love & Emily my new Guru.

My body has never felt better. I do a combination of private sessions and classes with Emily at least three days a week and I couldn’t be more pleased with my results. I feel tone, lean and strong. I work in food and beverage and on my feet all day. Emily has really helped me lengthen and stretch the soreness out and I feel much better at work. Totally recommend anyone trying Pilates with Emily.

Great exercise for me, with quality teachers. Emphasis on listening to your own body, no pressure to try and keep up with others, treated as individuals. They ask how "your" body is feeling and will adjust to fit your need. Also beautiful location, along the river, beautiful sunrises if you take advantage of "Pilates awakening" class.
