This gym is fantastic, for the price the equipment should be better maintained, and I’d personally pay for a hack squat machine lol.

Special shout out to the amazing stuff, especially Lainie and Ella in the childcare, Patrick is always a friendly trainer on the floor, and the rest of the staff is just as great.

The shooting is unfortunate, but there’s nothing the club could’ve done to prevent it and they’ve responded amazingly.

I have been a member of Elite going on 7 years now and I can confidently say the quality of the River Glen location has significantly decreased over the last 3 years. Children run loose in the weight room, putting themselves and the people actually working out in danger. The locker rooms as well as the weight room has increasingly carried a smell of marijuana. Towels, cups and weights are scattered all over the place. It’s hard to tell what machine is available because of how often they are littered with people’s personal belongings. Also, finding the equipment I need to complete a workout has turned into a wild goose chase or plain disappointment because machines are constantly “out of order” for at least a week at a time. People are not wiping down machines after use, spreading disease and dirt. Something to mention that I understand is out of the employees control is how often I notice the older gentleman watching younger girls working out, makes me uneasy and uncomfortable. Considering the opening of newer gyms in Mequon, Elite is crazy for raising their prices but not raising their quality standard. Also after this recent shooting, the ball is in Elites court to up their game or else they will lose a lot of business

Today was the first day I dropped my daughter off at childcare. I watched her from the second floor for a few minutes. The instructors didn't pay enough attention to the children. I really like this club but on the climbing structure in the quad and there are these 1.5 in pieces of wood above the stairs, and my friend hit her head on one if them while running up the stairs. She ended up bleeding a little bit. For it to be safer for other kids the pieces of wood should really be taken down.

This review is primarily for the children's swimming lessons offered at Elite. My son has thoroughly enjoyed learning to swim with his instructor, Lexi, and looks forward to getting into the pool each week. Getting introduced to the swimming pool can be scary for some young kids, but Lexi has made it fun and inviting for him. We look forward to seeing him become more independent in the pool over time.

Entrance for summer camp for kids has trash for the 2nd day in a row, we’ve brought it up to elite, and to put trash cans out if there are none. The trash seems to keep accumulating and not getting cleaned up.

Excellent neighborhood Gym and and activity Club. Our family has a membership and my kids love going over there to work and hang out. My wife works out there all the time on the gym as well as in the pools. In the summer the outdoor pool is great to hang out in with the family. Reason for four versus five stars is the Outdoor hot tub has been under construction for a number of years it seems. They have an indoor lap pool as well as a very warm smaller pool so shouldn't complain too much. There's a number of other facilities as well as a member, one up in Mequon and one in Brookfield. The quad area has basketball hoops and a lot of play activities for the kids. Membership isn't cheap in my opinion but my family loves it so we keep it and sacrifice elsewhere.

I bought a membership here primarily to play basketball during the winter. The court has two main hoops on a close to regulation size court, and 4 additional hoops on the sides of this main court. Only 2 of those side hoops is at the normal 10ft tall, there are 2 of them around 8-8.5ft tall.

They use this same space for volleyball, and they have open volleyball on Mondays. The net makes one of the main hoops inaccessible, but that's not the biggest deal because it's only on Monday... or so I was told.

The past few weeks, they have kept the volleyball net up THE ENTIRE week, Monday-Sunday. So every single day there was only 3 regulation sized hoops to shoot on which mean these 3 hoops were always crowded. I go every week day at 430pm and have never seen the volleyball net being used.

Yesterday, I asked a staff member when the new would come down, he said he would ask his boss to take it down for me. When he got back, he told me his boss said somebody wanted to use the net THE NEXT DAY so it had to stay up... ????? It takes 20 minutes max to take that down and put it back up. It was 830am on a Saturday, and management wouldn't let them take the net down because somebody wanted to use it on Sunday.

The young man who I asked was very friendly and apologized, the front desk worker is always very sweet and kind, but it is clear management is lazy and uncaring.

I do enjoy the classes and it's a clean HUGE facility! I do not like having to COMPETE for a spot in a class that only holds 7. It used to hold 20. I get that Covid changed a lot of things.... But as I've seen in other reviews... The space is too big to not accommodate the loyal members that pay out of their *you know what*. I can get a treadmill and stairstepper anywhere else for $10/month. It's just conveniently located. I also don't understand why I can't add my elderly mother who now has t live w me and my sick sister and instead have to pay another membership fee for them. So we fight for classes and get to pay over $400/mo for no perks. They should do a promo to remind the members they're appreciated.

I would never sign up here again if I knew how awful of an experience elite clubs would be. We joined in the summer for the pools and at that time if you were working out you didn’t have to wear a mask. Now you have to wear a mask even though every station is 10 feet + away from each other. It makes no sense. Furthermore I paid $200 more for personal tennis lessons and I’ve been here for over 6months and NO ONE has reached out to me. I hate coming here. My children like the quad and playing basketball but I can’t wait until my membership is up so we can go back to the WAC.

Nice fitness and tennis club that I have been a member of for over 15 years. Being a tennis player, I liked it better when there were 11 courts. Now there are only 6 courts after they converted 5 courts for other activities.
