I've been going to Ellipse for a whole lot of years. It changed hands a few years ago, but the format is still very similar. I love the fact that I have a choice of multiple class times on any given day, and the workout will be the same for all the classes that day. With multiple time slots to choose from, I can almost always work a class in--no matter what else I might have going on in a day. The workouts are great, with a ton of variety. No two days ever seem the same. I love that! Some days are more strength training oriented, and some days are more cardio oriented. Some days are a mix. The owner, Trey, is pretty awesome! He truly cares about the health and well-being of his Ellipse members, and he's a great motivator!

Best decision I made in a long time. Trey is fabulous to work with. Classes are work but you get results. The people are friendly. If you are looking for more than a gym and really want support as you get in better shape, this is a good place to go.

Trey is the best trainer I have ever had! He hears you and helps you achieve your goals. He is motivating and caring. I have never had better results than at his gym. The workouts are different everyday, he explains what muscles are being worked, makes sure you are using correct form, and provides remedies to stay fit and healthy!

Trey has years of experience coaching and it is reflected in the effectiveness of each workout, hitting all the right muscle groups. You won’t be disappointed in the workouts. Come join us!

I LOVE Ellipse Fitness-Neenah!
Trey is very personable, he takes the time to get to know you, what your needs are, what you want to accomplish then he creates a plan just for you and helps you achieve that goal. It's very obvious that he loves what he does. His happiness comes from seeing each and every one of his clients achieve their goals. Love it there ❤

When I first joined Ellipse I was very excited. The GM worked very closely with me to understand my needs, medical issues and my goals. Given some past issues with gyms, I was a little apprehensive about going back, but I was very comfortable and felt very confident in what I was told and how Ellipse was sold to me.
I signed up for the monthly membership which consists of group training where there could be just you or a whole room full of people depending on who shows up. Well that’s not my style and decided to do personal training on top of the membership thinking maybe I would participate when I was more comfortable. First off they don’t have 1-on-1 training unless you happen to be the only one in the “training center” for that time slot. Otherwise you will be with 2 or 3 other people for the training sessions. Well for my first few weeks I felt awesome and was making progress when the person I was working with closely left.
Without skipping a beat there were two new trainers I was set to work with. Well, off the bat that didn’t set well because a) why have two when I should just be working with one and b) one of them was still in college working toward getting his certifications for training. As I went for another session I find out, my training program was not being managed by anyone nor did the new trainers know who was setting them up or maintaining them. On top of that, the new trainers had no idea of my medical issues which caused more issues for me.
I decided that I’d like to cancel my membership. Well, let me tell you, that is not easy. I understand there is a contract that I signed. Everyone is expected to sign it and there is no way out unless you move, have a doctors note, hire a lawyer or I suppose if you die they’d probably cancel it, but maybe they’d go after one’s estate, I’m not sure. I emailed to have my membership canceled and went almost a month before anyone even noticed I wasn’t attending my sessions. Then I finally got a reply to my request to cancel my membership. I was told by the new GM to send a letter to Sunshine Consulting LLC in New York, the apparent owner of Ellipse Fitness. I emailed them, and eventually had to contact the owner via LinkedIn and Facebook to get a response to find out that the email address on their website doesn’t work anymore. I was told to contact the new GM to talk to him about getting back to my workout. Not giving any regard to the fact that they caused issues and I was not happy with what they were doing or how they were operating and charging me $180 a month. In the end I got a doctors note to cancel my membership and was declined a refund on the months that it took them to respond to me.

I love working out at Ellipse, not just for the physical workout, and that is really good, but for the atmosphere and the relationships I have made there. The instructors make it a point to get to know each person and in turn you get to know the people you are working out with. Whether you take the regular classes or one of the many Boot Camps offered, Ellipse is always raising the bar to make the workouts challenging and body changing.

Working out at Ellipse in Neenah is great! The instructors are friendly, caring and personal and the workouts rock! In 20+ years of working out, contact kickboxing continues to be my favorite way of keeping in shape. The muscle classes help take your fitness up to the next level and they're always adding new moves to keep it fresh. Way to go Ellipse Fitness - Neenah!
