Amazing time this morning. Went for an introductory class and Lisa was so welcoming! The class vibes and flow was phenomenal and both challenging yet relaxing. It was also Lisa’s birthday and she brought beautiful cookies! I will definitely return when back in Milwaukee!

I’ve gone to a few classes and it’s been wonderful so far. The instructors are super nice and friendly and you get your moneys worth. Plus the first class is free for new customers which is awesome!!

Update: been coming to this wonder yoga studio for over a year now and they are my favorite hot yoga studio I’ve been to. The instructors are SO nice and you can’t beat the price! You get your money’s worth. I use the techniques I learn in class in my person life and to say this has helped my overall wellbeing is an understatement. My flexibility has improved greatly and I feel a lot less tired after class. Empower is the BEST!!

On a recent visit to Milwaukee, I was craving some mindful movement and saw that Empower Yoga offers free classes for first time users. I immediately signed up for the next day's morning class and had a wonderful experience. The yoga teacher was welcoming, informative, and had a calming presence. She led the class through a meditation, 2 sun salutation flows, a vinyasa flow, and shavasana. The exercise combined with the infrared heat left me feeling flexible and strong. I checked out her class packages and, currently, you can take a single class for $10, a monthly pass for $70, and 10 or 20 class packages for a discounted price. I will absolutely come to more classes when I'm back in the area.

Great studio and friendly instructors. Katie H is my favorite β€” she really cares about her class and is happy to answer any questions (I have weak wrists and Katie helped me find stretches and alternate poses to help). Whether you’ve never touched a yoga mat or are an expert, you’ll feel welcomed and get a good workout. I also like that they offer a pack of classes for purchase in addition to the monthly membership, for folks who may not go as often. The first class is free β€” you won’t regret it!

I visit the 3rd ward location and feel great after every session. The instructors are all wonderful, the space and atmosphere is welcoming. They cater to all sorts of experience levels and the best part is that they are so affordable! Even with all the inflation going on. I look forward to every class I sign up for!

I love Empower Yoga! I started attending the Appleton branch, and when I moved back to MKE, I was so pleased to learn of their location in the Third Ward. They make yoga accessible, welcoming, and affordable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone interested in practicing.

The infrared light is so nice, especially in these winter months! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and I never have trouble booking a class that works with my schedule because there are multiple times offered across the three different studios. I would definitely recommend Empower yoga!!

Got in from Chicago for a short weekend in Milwaukee and dropped in for a yoga class before checking in the hotel. I loved it! The class was very well taught and I worked up a sweat! Would definitely be doing this again next time I am in town.

Empower Yoga is an awesome supplement to my regular fitness and activity (Including ultimate, basketball, tennis, lifting etc.). The owners are kind and understanding, and instructors all seem knowledgeable and lead easy to follow classes. It is inexpensive compared to other studios (especially drop-ins and punch cards), making it accessible as a supplement to other fitness routines, rather than having to choose between them.

After visiting the Empower Yoga in Whitefish Bay, we were excited to see a new location being opened in the Third Ward. So far, we have enjoyed classes here. The space is nice, the instruction is good, and the prices are excellent.

Empower is somewhat tucked away in a loft space of a Third Ward building, but the signage is helpful. Doors to take you to the third-floor location open 30 minutes before class. My main issue so far with the studio is the lack of changing/dressing space. There is a unisex bathroom for changing, however there is just one bathroom with no hooks available to hang bags or jackets, so changing before and after class poses a challenge. The studio itself is one large loft-style room, with an area sectioned off for students to put their bags, shoes, etc. The walls are brick and hold in the heat well, with heated panels (you heat up as you move versus studios blasting heat from vents), on the high ceilings with beautiful exposed beams.

Classes are first-come-first-served, which is a little different from other studios we have visited. I do appreciate the ability to sign up ahead of time online or through the Mind Body application and be able to see my upcoming schedule. The Empower Yoga schedule is listed on Mind Body; you just are not able to sign up for classes in advance.

This leads into the one other thing I do wish was different at Empower. Being that the space is fairly small, and the classes are first-come-first-served, it would be extremely helpful if the floor was marked. As there is no mirror in the room like other studios, the classes face the windows. With the floors not being marked for mat spacing, and the lack of mirrors, you unfortunately often end up staring at someone’s feet directly in front of you as people don’t stagger their mats.

All-in-all, we have enjoyed our time so far at Empower and look forward to continuing classes here. Now if only parking wasn’t so difficult! (It is the Third Ward, after all).
