So grateful to have this wonderful yoga studio in our community. They have the sweetest instructors and are very welcoming. I really appreciate the 5:30am and 7:30am class times. As a busy working mom, it’s lovely to sneak in some quality movement and mindfulness first thing - these steamy early morning workouts are an absolute oasis for me!

I love hot yoga. It was my first experience (I am not new to yoga, but I never tried hot yoga before), and I am hooked. Great location, very large and clean space, everything designed very thoughtfully and with love. Excellent yoga teachers!

This yoga studio is excellent! All of the teachers are great, and have their own styles, some of them teach classes that are more fast-paced/power yoga, and some are more of a slow flow. You can get to know them and go to their classes based on what you are feeling that day. They have many class times to choose from, and the environment is very warm and welcoming. Everything you could want in a yoga studio.

Empower has become my go-to peaceful place since about a month ago. I have taken classes from a variety of instructors, and though they each offer variety through their style and preferences, they all have kindness in common. Once I came in a little late. I snuck in as quietly as I could, and apologized after class. The instructor’s response made me feel so welcome. She simply told me she was so glad I made it. Thank you to each instructor who makes this space what it is. And by the way, I have never heard of yoga classes that are so great for such a great value!

I've attended classes here a few times over the past couple of years. I'd have to say after my last class I will not be returning. Each class has offered a different experience--sometimes good, some bad, but overall inconsistent is the word I would use to describe this studio.

The last class I attended was an all levels flow class with an instructor who stated it was her last time teaching at Empower. The class itself was a full class roughly ~30 students. It was PACKED. Now, I am all for sharing yoga with as many people as possible and typically yoga is about being present on your own mat/ tuning out of your surroundings, however It is definitely hard to do that with so many people, sounds and smells. I mean you are RIGHT next to other yogis feet (on both sides of your head) I felt my practice was limited because I had to worry about if I was going to hit/touch the people next to me. It was distracting. Perhaps the studio can offer more class times and/or limit the amount of students the space can hold. Not every class is packed but the studio should take into consideration yogi experience > packing the place.

The flow itself was downright unsafe. Transitions and peak poses were not well explained. There were 0 efforts to modify ie the instructor simply stated "make this practice your own, add your own modifications" rather than talking us through "how" to do that safely. The instructor cued not only 1 but multiple peak poses without warming up any of the muscle groups or balance positions. It was so sad to see yoga students entering the poses in such unsafe ways. I was appalled by the lack of cueing and safe transitions. There was a lot of simply naming the poses we were entering instead of guiding us anatomically/using cues ie "place your right hand here and your left foot there etc" I felt really out of place in the class because I chose not to expose myself to injury through these harsh transitions... The class was absolutely not beginner friendly despite being advertised as such. (I have been practicing yoga for 8 years and am also an instructor!) Perhaps the studio could market their class offerings differently and offer advanced, moderate, and beginner friendly classes in the future. If this class was my first introduction to yoga, I think I would be hesitant to try it again based on the inaccessibility of the sequence. I felt so defeated throughout class. (Definitely NOT empowered).

I wanted to offer up some feedback to the instructor after class but she was too busy celebrating her last class and announcement of her own yoga studio opening details and I just did not want to bum her out. The whole experience was simply off putting.

Kindly, a fellow yoga instructor.

I walked in and was welcomed by a kind warm beautiful smile behind a very attractive man whom sold me my first mat and filled me in. I didn’t realize I was so badly out of shape til looking around the room and people much older then I looked like ninjas as I looked like a fish out of water, struggling Matt came over to help me not sit on my head anymore, I felt a little silly but happier I was shown verses being the odd ball out. If you would like some peace, to find your center and sweat like it’s your job, Matt will gladly be there to guide you! Thanks again.

I've been attending classes for the past month and love it! Encouraging instructors allow you to go at your own pace or give you an extra push when needed. Lots of class times and payment options (per class, 10-class pass, or monthly). As a newcomer, I appreciated the special rate for my first monthly pass. I've also enjoyed the variety of music selections. Regardless of how I feel walking into class, I always leave feeling energized and refreshed!

I found Empower Yoga & have immense Gratitude to their entire tribe of yogi'sβ™‘
I begin most days the best way anyone can ;
with my yoga practice....I practice because of how it makes me feel. Strong, Dancing, Warrior.
A year ago, I entered "The Empower Challenge"
21days of yoga within 28 days.
I WON the challenge and BELIEVE IT,
I won a free year of unlimited yoga!!!
Practicing yoga daily has brought me physical & spirtual well-being/ transformation... which has been lovely & humbling actually. Time dedicated to my practice has afforded me time to process & change, breath has allowed me to calm, sweat has encouraged me to purify (and lose a few lbs!)
Everyday we have the opportunity to "be" the power, to practice loving kindness to ourselves and others...and this is the place you will feel that happen β™‘β™‘β™‘THANK YOU EMPOWERβ˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†

I am new to yoga and they were very welcoming when I came in for the frist time. It didn't even matter if I couldn't do all the poses. I even bought in my younger siblings (11 and 12 years old) and they were super nice and let them join. The first lesson was completely free. I will definitely be going again.
