My wife and I hosted our daughter's birthday party this weekend at Em's Dance and it was by far the best experience I've had hosting an event. The staff was extremely accommodating, the space was clean, and the activities provided during the event were captivating to the kids. We got the opportunity to actually enjoy and participate in our daughters special day instead of running around worrying about details of the event. I highly recommend Em's Dance for your child's next birthday.

We just had my daughter's 8th birthday party at Em's and my daughter says it's the best birthday party she's ever had! We did the Circus Party and all the girls loved learning the aerial silk and basic tumbling moves. The staff was fantastic with the kids, the facility spacious and clean, and the whole process of booking/planning the party was super easy. We definitely recommend having a party here!

EM's is amazing. They are so good with the kiddos. They truly get to know the kids. All the teachers are amazing. My daughter is obsessed with going to dance class, and gets excited every week. We are starting our 5th season (which they have only been open for 6!) We have done did summer camps and classes. Our daughter just completed her first year on the competition team, which has been an amazing experience for us, that we chose to do competition team again next year. They are also unbelievably priced! So worth the inexpensive classes. My daughter is learning dance, communication, listening, and team building. I highly recommend coming here.

My daughter has been dancing with EM's dance center for 5 years now. She began as a recreational level 1 dancer and joined the competitive team shortly after. Em's has been a wonderful part of building her skill, confidence, teaching her dedication, team building and how to work towards her goals. I'm pretty sure if we let her she would just live there 5 days a week :-D She certainly has her home family and he dance family. The friends she has made I truly feel will be her lifetime friends. Watching how much she has grown because of the Em's has really been the best thing for a mom to watch.

My daughter has been apart of Em’s Dance Center for going on 3 years. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this dance studio. From the very first day we walked through the doors, we felt an overwhelming sense of warmth, safety, and felt like family. The environment is incredibly welcoming—not just for the dancers, but for the entire family. It truly feels like a second home.

What’s been most amazing is how this studio has brought out my child’s love for dance in ways I never imagined. The instructors are not only talented and professional, but also nurturing and genuinely passionate about helping each child grow. They see each dancer as an individual, encouraging their strengths and gently guiding them through their challenges. They take their time with each dancer, and truly do care about them. My daughter looks forward to seeing her teachers, and has so much love for the owner, Ms. Emily.

My child has blossomed here—not just as a dancer, but as a confident, joyful person. The positive energy and support within this studio are unmatched. Whether it's in a class, competition, or recital, you can feel the love and care that surrounds every moment.

If you're looking for a place where your child can safely grow, express themselves, and truly fall in love with dance, this is it. We are so grateful to be part of Em’s Dance Center. 🤍

My daughter has just completed her first season at Em's Dance. We have attended other studios for gymnastics and dance before, but Em's was a breath of fresh air compared to them.

Everyone on staff was always so professional, but also personal at the same time. The studio treats their dancers like family. From the behind the scenes office staff to the assistant teachers, my daughter always looks forward to going to dance.

They have great policies that keep their dancers safe and also keep everything affordable and realistic for families. They offer a variety of classes for different types and skill levels. I highly recommend checking out Em's Dance, as once you're here - you'll be family.

We’ve been apart of the EM’s family for 5 years. The teachers go above and beyond to make sure they are helping the kids grow as dancers as well as good people.

I recently went to Em's Dance Center's recital, and as someone who grew up dancing, I'm talking from age 6 all the way through college, with incredible teachers from places like Joffrey Ballet and Hubbard Street, a few things really jumped out at me. I want to be super clear: my thoughts are about the program's approach, not the amazing kids dancing their hearts out. They were trying their best!

A key issue was the absence of stage markings, which caused dancers to appear unorganized and even to perform out of view. There was also a clear need for better alignment during performances. It seemed that the choreography might not have been fully internalized by some dancers, as I observed children around 8 or 9 years old frequently mimicking movements from choreographers offstage. This point, of course, excludes the very young dancers

Honestly, I think the show would be so much stronger if they focused on fewer dances but made each one really polished. If there was more time spent on teaching and really getting the routines down, I bet the performances would shine. Things like proper stage markings and making sure everyone's lined up are just basic dance necessities. It makes me wonder, if this is the only training these kids are getting, how many of them would actually be ready for scholarship opportunities down the road? Because of all this, I'm just not sure I could recommend Em's Dance Center.

Be mindful of their one-size fits all ages/no-exceptions “policies”. Read the fine print and NEVER assume anything. A child’s well-being should ALWAYS come before “policy”. My 3yr old cried herself to the point of exhaustion, passed out in a stranger’s arms, and I was STILL denied access to her. When I finally got to her, there was no sympathy/empathy and was rudely forced out because we were “in the way” when a friend stopped us to see if we were ok because my daughter was STILL crying in my arms.

Edit: As stated above she passed out & upon pass off, she woke and was immediately distraught/inconsolable. Did I get upset after - YES I DID, I am not afraid to fully admit a wrongdoing, but, seriously, what parent wouldn’t after seeing their child like that? I can easily admit I lost my temper as I was harassed by the employees again…and AGAIN - who wouldn’t when you’re told over and over and over that you can’t get your 3yr old who is passed out in a strange place with strange people? Only time I approached an employee was to ask for my child at intermission, and damn straight I said my please/thank yous. Saying I was a threat is a joke, but I guess whatever helps you sleep at night. Your “policy” was the threat to my child’s well-being plain and simple.

I heard that it's a great idea to join, but I'm not flexible and have no talent. And I'm to late to start dance, I'm 12, and my mom might not know what to do. But I love the spirit! Please tell me if I should join @Em's Dance company. I've been wanting to join dance, since like forever. I been trying to find a dance company. I just don't know if it's cheap for my mom or going to help me be flexible and good with dance. Do you guys recommend it? Please respond, I want to join!

EM’s is an amazing new studio, taking the utmost care to ensure all safety and sanitation measures during this crazy time. Keeping class sizes small, which also gives students a lot of personal attention and corrections. Although the studio is new my girls have had Ms. Emily, the owner, as a dance teacher for the last 8 years. They love her and have flourished in their skills. One has moved on to become a dance teacher, in large part to Ms Emily. I highly recommend this studio.
