The work outs are challenging and designed for you. Every workout is different with new routines each secession. It is great having Stephany there to instruct and encourage!

I have been coming here for three years with no intention of leaving. The reasons I love this gym are numerous but I will list a few here:
1. Camaraderie - The groups in each class are always welcoming to new members and plenty of us have become friends. Positive reinforcement is the norm!
2. Coach-led classes and programming - I dont have to figure out a workout to do before/when I get to the gym, its already done.
3. Management/Coaches - Brian (Owner) and Stephany (GM) are excellent teachers and humans!
4. Set class times/Overall Structure - For me, if I have the option of going to workout anytime, I'll never go. That being said, there are numerous different sessions throughout the days that should fit most schedules.
5. Accountability - The aforementioned factors of camaraderie and set class times help me keep going - even on days I dont want to. Going everyday has now become an automatic habit.
Also, the facility is kept very clean with recent equipment that is in great shape!

I was invited by a friend of mine to join him for a workout at a gym he attended in McFarland with a focus on CrossFit back in early 2019. That is where my journey to better health truly began to accelerate.
What started as a healthy dose of hesitation and caution – thanks to the cult-like status CrossFit gyms and their fiercely dedicated members (evangelists?) have earned since the methodology's inception –quickly turned into a sense of belonging and camaraderie.
I can say unequivocally that I've never felt more welcome at a gym in my life, and this is far from the first attempt at a regular exercise routine I've mustered. I felt that way from day one, and in the time since, the feeling of community has only grown.
Not only are Brian (owner) and Stephany (lead trainer) great at what they do as trainers and fitness coaches, but they're both wonderful human beings. The same can be said about each and every other person I've shared that space with over the past few years.
The facilities have never left me feeling like we're lacking for anything we'd need for a rock-solid workout, day-in and day-out. There's more than enough equipment to go around, and it's well-maintained and provides a wealth of workout versatility. Especially exciting is the opportunity to set up the rig outside in the spring so we can enjoy outdoor workouts throughout the warmer months.
They have a variety of class formats and time slots available to cater to a wide range of schedules, although I've been a regular of the "nooner" 12p CrossFit classes for the vast majority of my time there. So to that end I can only speak for my experience there, which has been nothing short of exceptional. The rate for the unlimited plan that I've utilized since I became a member has gone up slightly over the past few years, but has always been and continues to be reasonably priced, especially compared to other CrossFit gyms in the area.
Brian, who is a god darn gem, is also a physical therapist and can be relied upon for help with some of your aches and pains should you find yourself ailing. While I haven't had any serious injuries while working out at Fit City, there have been a few strains that Brian provided some invaluable recovery guidance on. He's also been incredibly helpful with questions about diet and supplementation and their incorporation into my personal fitness goals.
I could probably continue, raving on about how they're also charitable and conscious about giving back to the community, or how they've got pre- or post-workout drinks available for purchase should you forget yours at home, or that the place is always quite clean, and so on.
But all you really needed to see are the provided before and "after" photos ('after' might not fit as I don't see myself stopping anytime soon). I went from looking like that to looking like THAT. 'Nuff said.

Fit city is a Good community group of like minded people and is family friendly. After taking over a 10 year break from a gym, I have had great strength gains in just a few months. Stephany and Brian are both good coaches and know the ins and outs of training and push you when you need it most.

FitCity is very welcoming and easy to jump into for classes. Steph is full of knowledge, had a very bright & spunky personality no matter what time of day. She has movements for all abilities and is always ready to help you move to the next level to reach your goals. The gym is clean, well maintained and had a variety of equipment for use. The work outs are easy to follow and be adjusted to your body & ability level.
It’s a great way to start your day!

I’m not sure where to even begin. I have never been someone that works out. Like at all. I came to fit city during a really difficult time in my life and I have never stopped coming back. Steph is one of the most incredible humans in the world. Not only is she amazingly knowledgeable about fitness, but also about making sure every person’s needs are met safely and correctly. The modifications she suggests for people of all abilities makes this a really comfortable place to work out. There are people of all ages and skill levels working out together in one group and it makes for a very motivating and encouraging experience.
I have gained so much by joining this gym. I am forever grateful. It’s more than just a place to work out. It’s a community. A family. A support system.

My experience at Fit City has been life changing! I started going mainly for my mental health. Stephany was understanding and supportive from the beginning. She has a way of supporting you, making you believe in yourself, challenging you AND holding you accountable all at the same time. Her coaching knowledge has so much depth and her experience as a trainer is apparent in every single workout. I can't say enough good things about Fit City, Stephany and Brian. They're the best!

Discovered this place while randomly running down Farwell St in 2018, and my life changed forever for the better!
My husband and I have been going twice a week ever since. The owners' positive energy and the team atmosphere keeps us coming back every week, and if we try to skip we get held accountable!
Now, going to the gym is just part of our normal routine, keeping us healthy and strong to keep up with our growing family.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this place and of course they have the best trainer ever. I love the environment and I never feel judged like I have at other gyms. Every person there is super encouraging and it feels like a giant family even though I’ve just met them this week for the third time. This mornings workout ( at 6 am, and just for reference I’m not a morning person whatsoever) I was struggling with the box jumps. It was the last round and the others in the group had already finished. The others could have started cleaning up and getting ready to stretch but instead they cheered me on and encouraged me to finish strong. I have truly never experienced a group of people this great that I just met, let alone at a gym. It doesn’t matter if you workout all the time or haven’t worked out in years, I highly highly recommend joining this gym. You will definitely not regret it. The gym will cater to your needs and ability’s.

This gym isn’t like other places, it’s a family vibe mixed with well balanced workouts. Once you get to know everyone who attends, you become friends and find coming to the gym doesn’t feel like a chore. Everyone is super supportive and every single exercise can be altered to fit your physical needs, be it easier or harder. They have much more than just CrossFit so check them out. I highly recommend FitCity!

Hands down the best gym I’ve ever been to. In fact, the only gym that has got me hooked on working out regularly. All of the members are like family. It’s a safe space where everyone supports and motivates one another. A wide range of body types and ages, welcoming to all! The workouts are different every day, so there’s always something new to look forward to. We track our progress and celebrate when we hit personal records. There is in outdoor rig and mats where we are able to workout outside when the weather is nice. 10/10 recommend Fit City. Even if you’ve never had a regular workout routine, this is the perfect place to start one.
