Currently they have times in which the pool and sauna are closed due to lack of staffing and scheduling issues. They still charge you the full price for the month though. Less amenities same price. Poor management of the situation.

I’ve been swimming at this Y for many years! I like the lady at the front desk, she's really nice. She and my mom get along very well. It’s not always perfect; the pool gets really busy in the summer since kids are out of school, and sometimes there are a few annoying grown adults. I recommend going for night swims in the autumn when the pool is much calmer and less people.

I love going here for yoga with Dawn! I’ve never been able to stick with going to the gym, but I finally hit my groove when I started going to the classes. It’s fun to see the “regulars” and make connections. I honestly get disappointed if I can’t make it!

I’ll never forget when I was at open swim with my toddler and a lifeguard came up to me to tell me that we had to leave the pool because another woman didn’t like my swimsuit 🥴

Make sure if you are going to cancel or adjust your membership that you do it 5 days before the first of the month. Otherwise they will bill that full month because you did not give it enough time to “get in the computer” to update the change. Your membership, that you got billed fully for, you also would not be able to use during that period. They also will let prorate the future months to account for the month you were billed for & couldn’t use. I wanted to change my membership to just one if my daughters because the other daughter & I do not use it. I would’ve been billed the full amount for April if I canceled today & not had access to what I paid for. This is shady & not a good business practice & im half tempted to cancel anyway & contest the full charge through my credit card.

Adore this Y. We have a family membership and my children have been doing swim lessons here since they were babies, now having one on the Swim Team downtown. The kid watch staff are sweet and attentive and know my children by name. Everyone is so helpful and has a smile on their face.

The workers treated me and my family trash, they were disrespectful and rude, they did not allow us to buy food while being friendly and polite to the others. This place is very disrespectful. This YMCA is not the hype🚫🙅♀️.

Called in to check on a class time. Unfortunately the sign up was under my husband’s email so I could not get in touch. Main number prompts for questions. I selected it and was then told they would transfer me to correct location. They did but rang for 8min. I was driving and just let it go n go! Then decided to try again and listen to prompts all the way through. Was able to select location! I asked the time of 3-5yr old Gymnastics and they could not tell me! Gave my info and still they could not tell me a class time for which was taking place in there facility! Apparently something wrong with there system? They said they could call me back and I said “oh no” you can put me back on hold. I’ll be waiting. Proceeded to wait. Ended up just driving to the facility. Getting my 3 kids under 5yr old out of the car and going inside and seeing three employees at the desk and two people being helped! A lady asked how can I help, “I’m on hold waiting to find out when the 3-5yr old gymnastics is”! She tells me again she’s not sure! Seriously! Of course I’m upset and let her know that The Kroc Center has a calendar with there times on. That would be TO easy to have that info!!??? She said “ma'am where not going to go there”! Go there?! Then she tells me just to walk upstairs and ask the girls! They teach the class, the least the members at the front desk can do and help rely some info! Didn’t catch her name but it may have been Karen?:)

Good as a low-medium quality adult gym. Don't allow video recording so that is nice, equipment is pretty good. Staff are creepy and mean, whole place hates kids and families with a passion. Just do not have kids near the staff. As an adult I was ok, but as a family we had to quit and go to a family focused gym. Krok Ron by salvation army 8 minutes away is way more family focused and the pool is 20x better. Maybe try there.

Called bc I’m new back to the ymca. Got a front desk rep by the name Dawn or Don, not entirely sure. Who was very rude and threw in my face that the question I asked about had been implemented over two years now, very snarky. I told her I was new back to the Y and when I was here before I had to book classes and was wondering why it wasn’t in the app anymore.
I just think there could be friendlier staff who enjoy their jobs, and actually want to answer questions.

A kid threw up in the pool and the life guards were yelling at me to get out of the pool even though I was going out asap. Some recent times that I went all the lifeguards was staring at me way too much I know it’s the job, but I thought that was too much. Pee smelling water, I don’t trust it

Everytime Ive come to this one to use the pool, the slide and splash pad are turned off. Also, the family locker room is kind of dirty. Globs of hair on the floor and caught in the drains, mystery gunk on some of the benches. The womens locker room isnt much better- couple of the showers have mold.

I just joined recently and I love the walking track. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. My only concern is I watch people using the equipment but they don't wipe them down or sanitize when they're done. Some people do, but I've seen plenty of people who don't-especially kids and the elderly. Maybe a reminder from staff would help? Just a suggestion.

I’ve been a member ever since I was a little kid. It’s always been my happy place to come swim here and now that I am older. I love to work out in the spacious area the place has to offer. Lots of things to use as well :) the ladies at the front desk are always welcoming. If you’re thinking of bringing kids here, it is definitely kid friendly. I enjoy coming here and will continue to come

Barely anyone wears masks. I know it’s Green Bay but come on. Covid / omnicron heaven here🤢 and then ppl have the audacity to try to use the same machine as u right next to you and breathe their breath all over you. I wish more than 1 ymca was open on weekends and everyone didn’t have to pack themselves into 1

Long time former member of 10 years or more. Finally vaccinated and love swimming. Scheduled a time out of my free time to swim from 6 to 7 on the YMCA website. I arrive to be told I cant swim there because I don't have a membership and I cant buy a day pass to use the pool with my hard earned money without a member present with me.
As someone who learned to swim at the YMCA in general, it really makes me sad. Did not give me a reason to want to become a member again and I will not be recommending your services to my friends and family.

Went to the pool with the kids one morning and paid for a family membership just so we could swim. I had no idea that they were not allowed in the pool until after 1:30. I even checked the schedule and NO WHERE did it say that kids were not allowed. So we got in and swam for 20min. The life guards even let us use pool noodles! I kept the kids IN the shallow play area because there was a class on the opposite side of the pool (typical courtesy for any pool). Then some angry old woman walked up and told us we had to leave because she was water walking. I was confused because my kids were no where near the old folks on the OTHER side. Plus I had checked the activity board and it did NOT say, "no children." I looked at the life guard in confusion end she said we needed to leave now. I took my confused kids out crying. I found out that the only time reserved for kids in the morning is for classes that you have to pay extra for! I think this unwritten rule of children not allowed in the childrens area durring free water walking is pretty unfair. I have never encountered this at any other fitness center!

Very friendly staff, clean facility, modern workout equipment that's in good shape. I've traveled from coast to coast and sampled different YMCA facilities and this is easily one of the best I've been at. We've had many generous donors and volunteers to help with building and maintaining.
Also many classes, Zumba, yoga, aerobic, swimming, plus baby sitting and child care. Too numerous to mention. There is something for everyone! :-)
Our Y facilities in this area shine I think. If you are a family or a single person rates are attractive based on what is offered. Check it out.
