Was I initially intimidated? Heck yeah. Now you can't keep me away! The supportive atmosphere, clear instruction, and focus on meeting you where you're at make this a great place to dip your toe into the world of reformer pilates and start to strengthen your body in ways you never thought possible.

I started my pilates journey May 2024 and haven't looked back. I've enjoyed the variety of classes and workouts - the instructors are knowledgeable and hands on so you get the most from your workout! You know what you are going to get in the Basic class - however, there are always surprises with Basic +. I strongly encourage anyone who is thinking about trying pilates to take the Introductory class to start - you will gain a good understanding of technique and breath and the overall flow of the workout.

I’m new to Pilates and took my first introductory reformer class with Stephanie nearly three months ago. Right away, I loved how the workout is both challenging and focused on core strength, flexibility, and overall body control, all while remaining low-impact. The studio is clean and well-equipped, and I appreciate the diverse range of classes IMX Pilates Franklin offers daily. The small class sizes allow instructors to provide great guidance and assistance to everyone. At first, I found the experience a bit intimidating, but the welcoming and friendly atmosphere helped me feel comfortable quickly.

I love to be active however after injuring my lower back I was struggling to find something that left me feeling better than when I went in. I was apprehensive at first Pilates people have a reputation... BUT this place is great. It's in a mini warehouse setting, the space has a relaxed vibe! In the summer the garage doors are open, it's so nice! I was not good at first, I'm still not that good lol but I'm getting stronger every day! My lower back feels better than it has in years. With any exercise you can't judge it after 1 or 2 times. You have to keep at it! You'll be glad you did!

The variety of classes has evolved over time to include many options to accommodate your fitness level and goals. There is literally something for everybody at IM=X Pilates!

The smaller class sizes allow for the instructors to provide more attention to the participants to make sure you are getting the most out of your workout.

I have been coming here since September, and do not have enough good things to say about it. I can feel myself getting stronger and my overall pain has decreased. Stephanie is an excellent instructor. She is straight forward and direct, she wants to make sure everyone is safe, and she is so passionate about what she does. The 30 minute commute is worth every mile.

Getting ready to start my 7th year of working out at IMX Franklin! This is an amazing studio with excellent trainers, everyone is friendly and super helpful regardless of your experience level. For anyone new to the pilates reformer or other classes offered, I would highly suggest attending the free introductory class as well as some beginner sessions to become orientiented to the equipment and get accustomed to the instructors cues prior to just jumping into the more advanced/fast paced sessions if you want the best/postive experience - even if you have experience at other studios.
There is a wide variety of ages, experience, cultural background and personalities who come to class and everyone gets along amazingly well -- we are all there to improve ourselves in some way and encourage eachother along that journey!

I have been going for 4 months 2-3x per week. This place is not conducive to a welcoming, respectful environment. I am an avid workout person, used to do Pilates in Dana Point, CA and I miss that chill vibe with Pilates there. The instructor Stephanie is rude, impatient, passive-aggressive depending on her mood that day. She has people that she likes, and that’s those who do the work outs perfectly without much correction needed. She makes the work outs stressful which makes me mess up more. The red flag was during the free introductory class, she continuously scolded one of the young girls for not doing the postures correctly, kept saying “you need to pay attention.” It was offputting, I continued because there is no other Pilates in the area. After 4 months I’m done with the stressful workouts and will be going to another place for Pilates reformer as I genuinely enjoy it.

I recently visited this Pilates place and had an unfortunate experience with the instructor, Stephanie M., who also happens to be the owner. While I had high hopes for a positive workout session, I was disappointed by the instructor's behavior. Stephanie was extremely rude throughout the class, which left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. As a person of color, I couldn't help but wonder if her behavior was racially motivated, though I cannot confirm her intentions. I believe it's essential to provide honest feedback, so others can make informed decisions about their choice of fitness studios. My hope is that this review prompts the owner to reflect on her interactions with clients and create a more inclusive and welcoming environment.

I just took my introductory class, and it was amazing. The instructor was very hands-on and made sure that our technique was on point, which is crucial when learning something new. Place is a lot bigger than I thought. They also offer yoga, barre, and spin classes . If you are looking for a pilates club, this is it. Do not wait and schedule your introductory class right now !!!!

The facility is very beautiful and they have amazing equipment but unfortunately my instructor made me not want to come back. I had Stephanie M, if you are a beginner I would not recommend taking her class. She made me feel uncomfortable, out of place, and overall stressed the whole workout. She offers mostly verbal cues which can be hard to understand if you're new, and she did not show me or explain to me the equipment at all. I spent most of the class trying to watch other people, and whenever I did not grab the correct board or piece of equipment she would get very impatient and rude. She seemed fine to the other people in the class that were not new, but she made me feel uncomfortable and I didnt leave feeling strong and empowered like I do from other workout classes like solidcore, yoga, and cycling. I hope she makes changes to her instruction style because it is such a beautiful facility and everyone should feel welcomed there.

I was apprehensive at first thinking it would be all crunchy, judgy ladies at the studio and was happily SO wrong! Everyone was welcoming and friendly; the instructor, Ellie, greeted me with a big smile, gave me an overview of the machine, and positioned me between regulars so I would always have a reference point. She provided consistent individual guidance throughout the class and made sure to answer any questions. Plus, it was a great workout! I will definitely continue coming for more!!

Stephanie and her team at IMX Pilates are amazing! The classes are for all levels and can always be modified if I have an injury or want a harder workout. They care a lot and actually pay attention to your form. A real gem to have this studio in the area!

Absolutely LOVE this place! As a former marathoner and now novice cyclist, I was looking for something that would improve my core, flexibility and posture. After taking the free introductory session, I am hooked. Stephanie walked us through various moves and explained what we can expect in the classes we take. After taking the introductory class, I felt my abs...WHICH I HAVE NOT FELT SINCE GIVING BIRTH! Wow - I am hooked!! Highly recommend IM=X muskego for anyone looking to get in better shape physically and mentally. I will be going back!

How Katie and Yoga helped me through my MRI.
I have been attending this studio since May and besides the great Pilates workouts (and people), I have also taken up the yoga classes they offer. I said from day one that the hardest part of yoga for me was learning how to breath and just relax. Today I had to go in for an MRI. For those of you who have had this scan done you know the machine is loud, its cold in the room and when they tell you how important it is to relax and remain still you start to tense up thinking how you better “relax and remain still”. But when the scan began my mind immediately went to Katie’s calm voice and our yoga sessions where she would help us to practice our “Breath of Fire” and to push our breath to places where you are finding tension. It worked so well!! Thank you Katie for helping me in and outside of the studio. 😊

I've never tried Pilates before so when the Groupon offer came over for this location I jumped on it. The free introduction class was very informative and Stephanie did a great job walking us through the equipment. I have to admit that I was skeptical about the effect of the workout, but since I have very bad knees and 3 sessions, I committed. WELL, today I had my 1st official class. Katie was great. She kept a pace that allowed me to follow along and learn, while not taking away from anyone else. I enjoyed all the moves and was surprised when I saw sweat. Katie was encouraging and I am excited to go back. By-the-way, I am no longer skeptical because I was jelly when I got home. But in a good way! I think this class is great for any fitness level and the low-impact, smooth flow of the movements is perfect.

Finally getting back to Pilates after a few years; my class at IMX in Muskego did not disappoint. Owner/instructor Stephanie was great! She's very mindful of body alignment and making sure you get the most out of each movement. I'm a runner/former triathlete.. this was a tough workout! Studio is clean and there are a number of class times available. Can't wait for my next class.

IMX Pilates is the most effective and fun exercise program I have ever experienced! The studio is new, clean and modern. The staff are certified, knowledgeable and friendly. They take the time to make sure you are getting the most benefit from your workout and using all of your muscle groups efficiently. I have seen significant results in core strength and flexibility in just 3 weeks! This program is for all stages of adulthood. My "Senior" body is happy that I found IMX Pilates.
