Jet Functional Fitness has allowed me to achieve high success as a collegiate softball player as well as provided me with tremendous amounts of knowledge I will be able to take with me into my future. From personal training to group classes, the trainers are able to individualize workouts to make everyone better! I was very well prepared for the physical rigor of collegiate athletes which helped me gain confidence and success on the field. I have learned a lot about my body and the benefits of different workout styles which will aid me as a future Physical Therapist.

I was in Oshkosh for the air show this year and dropped in 3x for morning workouts. Everybody was friendly, and the workouts were a great way to mix things up. Since it’s a primarily kettlebell workout you can easily scale to your strength and ability level, and the coaches were eager to offer instruction when necessary. Drop in rates were reasonable as well ($15/class with cash). I’ll definitely plan on coming back next year!

I have nothing but good things to say about Jet. I have tried other places and they just aren't Jet. They are also much cheaper. Every class is different and challenging. They can alter movements if needed and for any fitess level.

I would say one of the best things about Jet in comparison to other local gyms would be their flexibility – you get so much more out of your membership with less cost. I used to go to another gym in town that was 100% class based, and while I truly enjoy being in a class setting, there wasn’t a lot of wiggle room to customize my workout. We only had the option to pick from 6 30 minute classes throughout the day, and if they did not fit into your schedule, you didn’t get your workout in there that day. At Jet, not only do you have about 5 full hour classes to pick from, there are also open gym sessions where you can complete the class set for that day, at your own pace. Jet also allows their clients to come in and utilize other equipment (free weights, treadmills, another cardio options) available at any time while they are open. I really feel like I get the biggest bank for my buck while being a member of Jet – I get all of the listed options for one monthly cost. At my previous gym, there were countless hidden charges beyond your monthly payment, which was already 1.5x what I pay at Jet for an already shorter workout. Accidentally oversleep and miss your morning class you signed up for? Charge. Want to attend an extended workout class scheduled once weekly? Charge. Want to join a weight loss challenge? Charge. By the end of the month I was most likely paying twice as much as I currently do at Jet. I truly feel like I am at a gym that works for me, not me working for the gym. Thanks Jeff!

I switched to Jet in Aug 2020. I have tried several different gyms and work out platforms through the years, and was looking for something fresh and motivating. It has been really great and I couldn't recommend it more. The group fitness is very encouraging and adaptive to all different fitness levels, yet doesn't leave you bored. The gym staff and other patrons make you feel very welcome and inspire you to keep pushing yourself. The instructors are very knowledgeable and truly lead you to progress. It's honestly a great place to start learning fitness or perfect the ongoing process. Getting into a good routine, feeling stronger and having more energy has been the very best.

I've been contemplating going to jet the last 5 years. I've always just went to the YMCA or planet fitness but always felt like my routine got old, boring and wasn't being challenged. I finally took the dive and after 2 weeks my mindset has completely changed. the atmosphere, people and trainers are top notch. there's a reason all the top athletes in the area who want to get better go there. it's been a while since I've actually looked forward to going to the gym. I do rhe 5:30am classes and not being a morning person havent second guessed one time going in the two weeks. highly recommended if you want to better your health, be mentally and physically challenged and most importantly just feel better!!! #JETSTRONG

This is my second stint with JET as I had to leave the first time to travel for a bit. The trainers are bar none, personable, professional, and fun. The group setting with individualized coaching from the trainers is great. I highly recommend JET functional fitness to anyone who is looking to push themselves and achieve great results. The classes are set up for all skill levels, no matter age, gender, or fitness level.

Nice clean, affordable place to work out. The trainers are excellent and concerned about your wellbeing so a lot of focus is placed on technique.. When I was looking for a facility I choose Jet because I knew I needed classes. Having a gym membership (Like the YMCA) didn’t work for me because I’d show up and didn’t know what to do, or how much time I should spend doing it. I had no idea if I was even moving correctly. At Jet you work in a class environment and they have kinesiology experts that lead each session to make sure what you are doing is correct and safe. Your age does not matter. Your current fitness level does not matter. Also, (unlike the “Y”) their prices do not go up every 3 months.

If you decide to try it out I have some ideas I think will help you get the most out of your experience.
- Set a series of goals before showing up so you know what you want to achieve. Be specific in your goal setting and break up large goals into smaller chunks.
- Take your time. You will not become a Greek sculpture overnight. You should be in this for the long term to keep your body in excellent fitness.
- You are in competition with no one but yourself. They train athletes here! You will see people who have been doing this for years. Forget trying to keep up with them or anyone else! I have seen people start at Jet but get frustrated trying to keep up with other people who have been doing this longer. Forget that! You are not there to compete with anyone. Focus on your goals. Just showing up to class gets your further to that goal than sitting home watching TV.
- The social part is pretty hard for me. I’m pretty happy being a hermit and its something I’m working on but talk to other people at the gym, ask questions. That’s part of what helps keep you coming back.

I hope you try it! I am in better shape than I have ever been. I still have a ways to go but I’m taking it one goal at a time.

Jeff and his team are awesome, keeping me on track with my goals even as life throws new things my way. Every time I feel like I'm hitting a roadblock, Jeff finds a tweak that helps me get fired back up. Every trainer here knows their stuff, and that is something I've never seen in another gym. Whether you're a diehard or just getting started, I cannot recommend Jet enough. I'm down 50 pounds over the past year, and I'm excited to work with Jeff and the entire Jet fam to track down the next goal.

Joining a new gym is definitely intimidating, but the trainers here are highly educated and work with all of their members (new and old) to ensure you understand each of the exercises and what proper form is, not only to prevent injury, but so you get the most out of your workouts. You can guarantee you won’t just be “set loose” to figure it out for yourself. These workouts are for people of any ability and age, and they truly focus on “functional” fitness (hence the name). A lot of gyms say their members are “like family”, and I can say first hand that members at JET truly are treated like family. Not only are the trainers great, but the members are just as awesome! Everybody is so kind, and I actually look forward to my workout every day! If you are debating on joining, I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out. My only regret since joining last summer is that I didn’t join sooner!

My family has been part of the JET experience for nearly a decade. We've even helped them expand from Oregon Street to 20th Street, and now to Hwy 44. I can think of no other staff that takes the time to say good morning, hi, how are things going, etc. JET has one of the most personable staffs that you will ever find. Awesome place to come to get healthy and happy! The trainers are amazing, very knowledgeable, highly educated, and inspiring. I came from a prior gym where I got a good and exhausting workout in but it wasn’t until after I joined JET that I found out that technique is so critical to your results. As it wasn’t a huge focus at my old gym. Since joining JET four months ago I have noticed a tremendous difference in my strength and overall fitness level, as compared to a year and a half at my old gym. Since being a part of JET, I feel better mentally and physically! I absolutely love it here and I’m so happy I gave JET a chance and made the switch!

When you join Jet, you join a gym that cares about you and your progress. Trainers are on hand every class to make sure you using proper form and making adjustments based on your fitness level. I joined JET in July of 2017 and cannot say enough great things about it. Prior to joining, I was nervous that I wouldn’t have the ability to successfully complete the workouts, but decided to try it out anyway - I’m so glad I did! I was immediately welcomed by all of the trainers and even had one of them right by my side for the entire class explaining each exercise, how to do it and WHY it’s so important to do these exercises properly. The trainers at JET are extremely knowledgeable and unlike any gym in the area. They’ve helped me to become the healthiest I’ve ever been. Since joining, I’ve lost 20 pounds, and gained a helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive group of friends. Love my JET family!

I joined Jet Sept 2017 to improve endurance and fitness. I like the class setting and having different exercises with each class. I am easily bored by doing the same routine so having every class different is perfect for me. The trainers are always watching to ensure correct form and provide instruction. Since joining, I have dropped 10 lbs and trimmed my waist by 2 inches. It's a great place to get a good workout.

As an older person, I thought kettlebells would be difficult to learn and the younger people would judge me. I was inaccurate on both counts. Both Jeff's and Whitney are very good, patient instructors and no one judges anyone in the classes. I also had some severe limitations and all trainers have made modifications so I can still work out. And my limitations have decreased as my bone density tests keep coming back with great results. I am not a crazy fanatic about working out (my favorite time is walking out of Jet Fitness), but the results and atmosphere keep me a satisfied member for many years.

I send my 2 teenagers here for the personal training sessions for explosiveness. Their goal was to learn the tools and techniques that would help them in football/track. Jeff is an amazing instructor, highly educated in his field, & has an incredible way of working with people of all ages. My children have developed not only physically but moreso mentally. I highly recommend Jet Fitness. Jeff has been extremely accommodating regarding his hours of personal training sessions, cost is reasonable, & the positive results are a given!

Jeff Ehrike has the ability to make my personal training sessions very productive and never boring. He changes up the activities so that it never becomes stale or routine. The formal education and certifications that he has acquired over many years gives him the skill set to modify an exercise to my physical limitations (knee replacement, back surgery, etc). Jeff is motivating and perfect for the "couch potato" who wants to improve their health all the way to the elite athlete looking to reach new levels. I have had the privilege of being one of the first personal training clients of Jeff Ehrike and JET Functional Fitness and have seen outstanding results. My husband and I previous belonged to another area gym. After a year of seeing limited results, we joined Jet Functional Fitness. We are thrilled that after only 3 months of attending classes at Jet we are seeing huge results in our strength and muscle definition. No two classes are the same, therefore the workouts never get routine or boring. Jet Fitness is unlike any other "Gym" I have belonged to. I went to Jet because of chronic back pain caused by disc herniation. It was to a point that I pretty much laid in bed when I wasn't working. I knew I needed to get my life back and didn't want to have surgery because that was not always a success. I knew I needed to get more strength and really didn't know how without hurting myself more.
When I first went to Jet to meet with owner/trainer Jeff Ehrike, I was instantly put to ease by his compassion, knowledge and genuine desire to help me.
I won't kid you, it was tough. Jeff took time with me and to this day still adjusts my workout by what is going on with my body on that particular day. Jet has become a way of life for me. The trainers & the people that attend the many classes are like a family. Everyone is always so caring and friendly, always willing to help you and give you encouragement.
From high school athletes, marathon runners,someone needing to build strength, wanting to lose weight, looking for new and changing workouts and to someone that wants to be fully functional.Jet has it ALL under one big roof. I believe by finding Jet I will be able to lead a physically active life well into retirement. Thank you to Jet.

When I joined Jet Functional Fitness in September 2011, I had severe back pain that limited my functional ability. Jeff Ehrike helped me through those difficult early months by providing me with alternate exercises that would help strengthen my core to improve the condition of my back and overall fitness level. In the past 3 years at Jet, I have accomplished a lot, including finishing four 5-K's runs, one 10-K run, and walking two half-marathons. Jet trainers keep me interested in exercising and provide opportunity to strengthen different muscle groups by changing the work-out for every class. I do not think I have done the exact work-out twice. The Jet trainers are concerned with proper technique and helping me achieve my personal goals. The Jet community is very supportive and readily welcomes new members. I would encourage motivated individuals desiring an opportunity to improve their functional ability to consider Jet Functional Fitness. You will not be disappointed in your decision.

If you want fitness results, stop looking because you have found it! I have been over weight most of my life, finally gave Jet a shot and in half the time I expected to meet my goal I was there. From interactive kettelbell bases classes, to TRX and functional body workouts you will get it all at this gym.
