I love Kingfisher Yoga. Even though my time is limited and I do not practice as much as I'd like, I always feel so welcomed at Kingfisher. Luckily, drop in, small packages, and monthly memberships are all options. Also, in addition to yoga classes, there are a variety of other fun activities like singing bowl sound baths, dance, barre, nidra, puppy yoga, outdoor classes at Devil's Lake, and stand up paddle boarding. When I moved to Lodi, I did not know anyone here. Thanks to Kingfisher, I have made most of my friends. So grateful that we have this amazing space, resource, and community in our little town. Can't wait for the Yoga & Soul Festival this fall! Check it out!!!

Kingfisher yoga goes beyond just offering yoga classes; it offers you a community where you feel welcome, supported, and connected. The studio itself is gorgeous, tranquil, clean, and inviting from the moment you walk through the door from outside all the way to the bathrooms. There are so many opportunities for personal and spiritual broadening through the variety of yoga classes. Classes are not just held in the studio but also in nonstudio settings such as parks, Devil’s Lake, or in Okee Bay. Carla and the yoga teachers attend and invite students to attend local yoga festivals. The studio collaborates and partners with other local businesses to create fun community events like wine walks, ladies night’s out, witches night out at Halloween, and so many more. The studio has unique and fun yoga classes like puppy yoga in which the proceeds go to various rescue organizations, Vino & Vinyasa at the wine bar, inversion workshops, $5 dollar Fridays, kids yoga on non-school days or during breaks, yoga nidra, and sooo many more. There are free clothing swaps held at Kingfisher a couple times a year. Kingfisher yoga is one of my happy places. Carla, the yoga teachers, and the yogis who practice there make me feel seen, connected, appreciated, and supported. Anytime I am in Lodi I always try to make it to as many yoga classes and events I can.

This studio is awesome! Great instructors who are down-to-earth, and zero intimidation. I rarely sign up for yoga classes, so when I do, it's a treat, and Carla and the Kingfisher crew treat you like you always belong. Inviting, healing space...if/when I splurge on yoga, it will be here vs Madison. Thanks for all you do Kingfisher!

Kingfisher Yoga! What can I say?

What can I NOT say?! This practice of yoga, particularly yoga at this beautiful, peace-filled space, with these caring, knowledgeable instructors, has changed my life forever.

During my very first class I was afraid because I didn't know what to expect from yoga, let alone a class full of strangers to me. Though I had obviously heard otherwise, even the possibility of a yoga instructor who was firm and unwavering made me fearful...

Yet, I persevered.

And to my surprise, it was gentle. The movements were adaptable to what my body knew it could or could not do. There was grace upon grace from the owner and instructors who actually celebrated my successes and NEVER discouraged me or pushed me too far past my breaking points.

This has been so life-giving I cannot even fully wrap my own head around it. I am in awe of what I am able to do now just a little over 2 months later. My breathing has deepened. I'm stronger and can do poses and stretches that I couldn't do at first. I'm noticing when tension begins to rear its ugly head in my stressful, working life and I am learning to soften.

But I'm also building relationships with real people. Everyone cares so deeply and SO enjoys being there. There's a beauty-filled, serenity that comes over you even while you set up your yoga mat and space at the outset of class.

Life isn't perfect, but I think I've found MY sacred space and MY yoga studio, here, at Kingfisher Yoga.

I see your light and love, Kingfisher Yoga, and I honor it, in you! 🌿

I am finding a peace of mind and a stress free body through the wide variety of yoga classes. As a beginner I feel welcomed, safe and cared for by the instructors. There is no pressure or expectation but instead a great energy to improve yourself at your own pace. It is a great way to clear the mind, set goals and it has helped my personal connection with God. ❤️

I’ve found a new home in Kingfisher Yoga. I have loved every class I have tried - so many to choose from and times that align with any schedule. I felt welcomed from the first visit and appreciate the judgement free environment to come as you are and go at your pace. Carla has created a space where you leave your troubles at the door and enter a haven of peace, calm, community and uplifting energy. Grateful for this slice of paradise in our community.

Kingfisher Yoga is awesome! I have practiced yoga for decades at a variety of places in Madison and around the world. Kingfisher is in a small community, but it is a world class place! There are a variety of classes, teachers, and styles in a down-to-earth, never snobby, always welcoming (beautiful renovated) space. If you do not see something you want, let Kingfisher know, and they will give it a shot! If you've never tried yoga and you think it's not for you, try one of the classes and let your teacher know! I promise they will take great care of you and guide you at every step. Carla (the owner/founder/dreamer/lead yogi/superhero) gets to know every person who practices there and takes the time to know you and connect with you as a human. Oddly, many yoga places are quite aloof, when yoga is really about community. Kingfisher is NOT that. You will be welcome and wanted in this community.
