The avo toast is always my go-to but I was very disappointed today. In the past the avocado slices were always room temperature indicating they'd been freshly cut. Today they were ice cold, obviously cut and refrigerated ahead of time, and brown and slimy. I was already disappointed in the switch to sourdough from the healthy whole grain. But not surprised since the whole menu has added a lot of unhealthy stuff. But the food at least has to be edible.

I have been a member at Life Time Brookfield for years, and Jim is truly one of the kindest and most dependable people there. He always takes time to listen, helps members right away, and clearly cares about the club and everyone who uses it. Whether it is fixing equipment, checking the sauna, or answering questions, he does everything with a great attitude and professionalism. People like Jim are what make Life Time feel like a community instead of just a gym. He deserves recognition for how much he does for members every day.

I've been a member of Lifetime fitness since 2016 in Michigan. When I moved back here in 2021 I was very happy they were building one here. Here's my Pro's and Con's:
Pro's:
1. Locations out of town are great.
2. Overall machines and weights are new.
3. Good parking.
4. More than 1 pool is great at some locations.
5. Building design and ambiance is second to none.
6. Overall good customer service.
7.Like the app.
Con's(Brookfield location only):
1. Locker rooms overall are Nasty!!Were good when they first opened and COVID. After that and more people joining it's been down hill.
2. Have to wait for workout machines because there is too many people.
3. Overall cleaning, maintenance, and repairs is an issue.
The membership to the elderly is a problem. I believe everyone that can pay, PAY! Those that can't have to go somewhere else. I don't think that people that can afford this should get discounts because of their age(they're in BROOKFIELD!!!). It's not fair to the members that's been here for over 5 years. LTF is on the stock market but what I learned is bigger isn't always better because you compromise your services and can't keep up with the volume of new members. I hope this helps.

I came as a guest couple of weeks back and participated in a class. I used to do bodybuilding in my younger days but don't find that. Very interesting now. The class was actually pretty challenging and I did enjoy the social aspect of it. I look forward to coming back and trying another group activity.

First off, I want to say how much I genuinely love this gym. I’ve been a supporter since it opened and signed up early on. The staff, atmosphere, and services have always been top-notch—which is why I feel it’s important to bring something to your attention.
Today, I ordered meals for three children and one adult. When I approached the café, I asked Brooke for the kids’ menu. She quickly listed it off, but seemed very busy, so I told her I’d wait until she had a moment. Nearly five minutes passed, and I politely asked if there was a menu online I could look at since the kids were hungry. At that point, she finally stepped aside to assist me.
I specifically requested an adult quesadilla with the pico on the side—it came with the pico inside. I also asked for the chicken nuggets to be well done, but they weren’t. I could’ve easily overlooked the food errors if not for the way I was treated.
The real concern was Brooke’s overall demeanor. She was noticeably combative, rolled her eyes at me, and when I mentioned the incorrect order, she walked away and tried to slam the door behind her. The door didn’t actually slam, but even my 9-year-old niece commented on it. Later, I returned to try to find my autistic bonus daughter’s snorkel, and Brooke’s energy remained cold and unhelpful. In contrast, the other woman working—who I’ve interacted with over the years—was kind, attentive, and supportive as always.
In over four years, I’ve never had a negative interaction with anyone here—until now. Everyone else has been truly exceptional. As someone who works in sales and trains staff, I know how crucial front-line behavior is. I wouldn’t allow this kind of attitude in front of customers.
I’ve already spoken to a manager and plan to come in person as well, but I wanted to provide this feedback in writing. I’m sharing this not out of complaint, but out of care for a place I truly appreciate.

Love this gym! My wife and I try and keep the fitness up whenever we come back to Wisconsin. This is always our go to no matter where we’re staying. Helps burn off them cheese curds and various adult beverages.
Our home gym is the South Austin Lifetime Fitness but the Brookfield location seems to be far superior. No kids running around the basketball court, weight room is clean as can be, and all of the equipment looks brand new. We always question how there is such a drastic difference between two luxury gyms under the same name.
Good work to the team at the Brookfield Lifetime location. Please call your colleagues in South Austin and tell them that the one basketball court that they have should not be consumed by a kids camp for the majority of the day. Also, shed light on how to fix a door so it’s not broken for a month. Good work, team!

I love this gym! I went to the pool yesterday and went inside to order my quesadillas I love. I was feeling light headed and Ruby at the counter was sooooooo nice. She even asked if I was okay and offered me some ice water and asked me if I needed to sit down. I asked her if she had some lemons for my water and she cut it up herself cause she could tell I needed it. By the time I got my food I felt sooo much better! She even asked how I was feeling right after she gave me my food. I can tell she cares and loves her job!!! Thank you soo much! Until next time

The gym floor is nice. It is clean, modern, has everything you need.
The locker room, bathrooms, sauna, steam room, etc. are consistently filthy. In the 30ish times I’ve been here over the years, it is a pig sty every time. Dirty water everywhere, overflowing garbage cans, toilet paper all over the floor. Obviously Life Time isn’t making these messes, but they’re not keeping up with the messes people make in there.
The cleanliness standards are not even close to anything you’ll find at other Life Times around the country.
I really like this gym and I like the company, so I think it would be great if they worked on that.

Dear Lifetime Fitness Management,
I had a frustrating experience at the front desk recently when I asked a simple question about my membership. The concierge couldn’t provide basic information and seemed more interested in brushing me off than actually helping.
If the front desk can’t answer common membership questions, perhaps it’s time to hire someone who can — or at least someone willing to find the answer. As a paying member, I expect better service than being dismissed without support.
I hope this is addressed so future members don’t receive the same treatment.

Great gym overall. It’s on the higher end price-wise, but I feel the amenities make it worth it. I don’t personally take many of the group classes, but it’s nice to have the option. The facility is usually well-maintained, though the steam room and sauna could be cleaner at times. I’ve also lost a couple headphones and water bottles here, and unfortunately they were never found or returned. Still, my overall experience has been positive and I enjoy coming here.

I mean it’s 180$ a month for a single person and an extra 100$ just to use the outdoor pool in summer. The beaches in Milwaukee are free and Animal House is a gym with much better equipment. Doesn’t make sense to choose this gym for me.

I had a membership a couple of years ago at this location. I lap swim and loved the heated therapy pool. It was pristine and usually empty during the day. After rejoining this year, I was stunned at the change. Lifetime has opened up memberships to members with specific insurance plans and pool use has exploded. The lanes are filled all day long with aqua walkers and some who simply sit by the edge taking up a lane as if it's their own personal bath. The last time I was there, I was in line waiting for a lane while a guy was texting and just hanging out right in front of us. Aqua walkers never double up in lanes and I have routinely seen couples take up two lanes. I usually swim in the afternoon but have been told there are always lines in the morning. Furthermore, I am now regularly seeing floating detritus under the water, which grosses me out.
I spoke with Member Services about reserving lanes and was informed that Lifetime has a "first come, first serve' lane policy and no other locations require reservations. Apparently, any changes must be made at the corporate level.
Unfortunately, if respectful use is not clearly articulated, it will be abused and I don't feel that it should be enforced by the lifeguards or other members. If they won't allow reservations, I wish Lifetime would consider additional signage - reserving some lanes specifically for swimmers, remind people to double up when the pool is busy, and/or limiting lap times to one hour. Aqua walkers can also use the children's section which is usually empty during the day. Other pools routinely successfully use these types of directives.
I still feel this is the best fitness center I've been a member of in this area. The locker room and showers are beautiful and well maintained. I love the workout area, the studios, and the private whirlpool and saunas in the women's locker room. This problem has a solution that will benefit all, but Lifetime must implement it.

My family and I recently moved and were deciding between two gyms. We were in the area so decided to walk in to see if we could do a quick tour. Stood at the desk before anyone would even look at us, when we asked for a tour the grumpy woman told us we have to be scheduled to take a look around and that we needed to come back at a different time. You have PLENTY of employees standing around- whats the issue for a 10 min tour??? Went to the other gym, had a tour right away with no appointment and signed up that day. For what we thought we be a luxury gym based on the location and what the website is touting- turned out to be a customer service nightmare.

Overall disappointing. To start your morning with what appears to be just a miserable person. It's almost a game every morning to try to get a smile or even a hello. Tell us you hate being here without telling us. Definitely some egos with some personal trainers and if your not a client they pay no attention or show personality. A gym should have positivity and energy..the staff fails at an epic level.
Forget about using the "Spa" for a haircut. Spending $45 is never a problem but frankly you can get better treatment at Sport Clips. There's definitely opportunity here for improvement but generally it starts with whoever is running the place. They created this culture and low standard. I also have a Planet Fitness membership and without a doubt they crush this place. They may not have all the frills but the lack of egos and personalities of the staff are a better way to start the morning. I will at least praise the locker room staff in the morning.

Really overpriced. They nickel & dime you for everything, and they're not at all concerned about retaining their current customers since they have such a long wait list of people that they can charge higher rates to than their current members who are grandfathered at their lower rates. Just very poor management overall, the Management team is usually good at their other locations that I've been to so not sure what is going on here.

Was a 5 star facility, now it isn’t. Like the other reviewers mention, the cleanliness is a HUGE issue.
The primary thing I use the gym for is yoga classes, and every single person who takes the yoga classes knows and agrees that the mats are disgusting. They are just telling you to spray them at the end of class, the back of the mats never get sprayed and let’s be honest: spraying over a bunch of sweat doesn’t clean it. They are being used for multiple classes a day, and they don’t really seem to have a solution for this. They continue raising the cost of membership while the value of the gym declines. $160/month for just me? For what? Lol. I think lifetime needs to be humbled because it isn’t worth all that. I don’t even want to go here anymore because I’m tired of gagging at the smell of the mat during class. I’m one of the few people who brings a towel to put over my mat, and you can still smell how horrible they are. I was told that they bought all new mats which was long overdue, but let’s be real, they are gonna smell too, because the true issue is they aren’t being cleaned properly. This isn’t on the yoga teachers either, it’s negligence on corporate for not having a solution for this. Also, the facility continues to add more and more members while charging more money and is not able to keep up with the demand of those additional members. It’s clear when you realize how dirty the rest of the facility is. I understand that it’s not a brand new building anymore but with as many people that work there you should have somebody who is more attentive on cleaning; given how important hygiene is. Too many toxins floating around to allow this type of filth.

Changing to one star: Today I worked out and used the shower, the women’s room is still dirty. But that’s not what’s upsetting today. I went to the life cafe to get a smoothie before going to work. I paid over 7 dollars for a small smoothie for them to fill the cup 3/4 the way. The lady handing it to me knew it was awkward and said sorry but didn’t do anything about filling it. I took a picture below. This place is getting worse and worse.
Precious review: Dirty! My husband and I have been going to this gym on and off for over 3 years. When we first become members the gym was super high end and staff were super nice. We have now had multiple issues with the in house daycare which I will say they fixed by changing management and is much better now.
Yet, the facilities are dirty, hopefully this recover will help change this. We pay $250 a month for our family to use the gym and it’s crazy how gross it is. As you can see below from the photos this is one of the family bathrooms where you change your child in for swimming. We got to the gym at 8:30 am and it looked like the toilet hadn’t been cleaned the night before. My child also started sneezing and I couldn’t understand why till I looked up at the huge whole in the ceiling with a ton of dust coming out of it. It’s just disappointing as this is suppose to be a luxury gym and it’s slowly becoming as clean as the other competitors.

I don't get it...
I tried this place for a month over Vasa Fitness (where I currently pay $20 a month for almost all of the same amenities).
Not only is this place at least $100 a month more, the gym portion is somehow SMALLER.
They have only a laughable 2 cable stacks, Vasa has bare minimum 10. They have fewer bench presses, the rack portion is considerably smaller, the dumbell area is 1/4 of the size. Everything is also much more cramped, you would think that you would be paying for space. The layout of the gym doesn't make much sense to me, and feels much less coherent comparatively.
The best way I can describe this place is that it feels like a big hotel gym. Never liked the vibe either, I just didn't felt like I was in a gym. I will be going back, and am wildly disappointed considering what I had heard and price charged to members.
I am actually laughing to myself that so many members are paying for what is really a small to medium sized gym inside...

Having been a member for nearly a year, I’ve never utilized the guest pass. I was told when I joined how good it was by the front desk person, that I could pick 2 persons a month and bring them unlimitedly for 60 days. I thought that was extremely generous because you could basically bring someone for free. I never used it until this past month. My boyfriend joined me earlier in the month, and I wanted to bring him again for a workout today. To my surprise, I was told I couldn’t bring him for 60 days. I understand not brining someone unlimitedly for 60 days, because that is truly like giving away a free gym membership. But to give me 2 guest passes a month and then to dictate who I can bring? That’s asinine. The only reason you have that policy is to force me to bring different people to the gym in hopes that they become want to join your gym. That’s absurd and greedy. Your attempts to gain new members has now lost you a member. Dictating who I can use my guest passes on made me cancel my membership right then and there. When I walked through the Lifetime doors today, I had no thought of leaving. When I walked out those doors, I had already cancelled my membership.

I recently toured Lifetime Fitness over the weekend and was really excited to sign up. The gym seemed well-equipped, and the staff was friendly, so I was looking forward to getting started with my fitness journey. However, my experience took a frustrating turn when I tried to sign up online later that weekend. There was a glitch, so I decided to go back in person on Tuesday to complete the registration.
When I arrived, I was told that I couldn’t sign up then and was instead asked to come back the next day, specifically at 12 PM. As someone who works from 8-5 and has young kids, this timing was extremely inconvenient for me. I was hoping for more flexibility, especially since I had already made the effort to go back to the gym. Rather than offering a solution or accommodating me, the staff just gave me another time to return.
The lack of support and the inconvenience of having to return multiple times really soured my impression of Lifetime Fitness. I expect a higher level of customer service, especially when it comes to something as straightforward as signing up.

5 Stars and here’s why:
An overall nice gym with courteous people working there. Good facilities that could do with some updating but overall well worth the $5/day subscription.
Writing this review to highlight the manager. She always seems to be everywhere all at once. Today while getting coffee, the guy manning the till was backed up and overwhelmed with the number of people in line and also fulfilling orders. The manager came in to help him out which I really commend. People might say it’s the job of the manager but my observation is this gym has a lot of mini departments which is undoubtedly a lot of work. Seeing a manager be attentive to her staff as well as the clients is really nice to see.
Anyway, Lifetime management give her and her staff a raise of a nice bonus this holidays, they do really good job.

I was looking forward to making Lifetime my new gym but when my wife and I walked into the door to tour the space and get a day pass, we were met with some upset and unpleasant workers. I asked for a tour and was met with a heavy sigh and no explanation that tours were to be scheduled. Then I asked if we could do a day pass, met with another heavy sigh and zero eye contact. In the middle of the man trying to find the day pass on his computer, his colleague became available and told him to deal with us and stormed off like a child, only to see him put on his jacket and walk out the door, clearly he cared about leaving for the day instead of securing another member for the establishment. The lack of professionalism and customer service and just respect will keep me from wanting to ever find out what this place is like because the front desk folks already told me the type of service and respect I will get if I am a member here.

Joined in Jan 2022 and now the quality has significantly declined. Locker room is not well cleaned, price has gone up, and equipment is starting to show its age a bit. 2-3 years ago this place was amazing. It seems like they got complicit and now things are falling apart a bit. I’m not white and I’ve never felt discriminated against so I’m not sure what these new reviews are about, and the staff have been friendly to me so far, I’m not sure if it’s upper management failing but I feel some changes are due.

One Star due to very sharp decline of facilities. Men's locker room has become a waste land. Gym floor is OK, but regular cleanings are becoming lazy. Enforcement of "No video/picture" Policy is non-existent.
Dirty showers, overflowing trash cans, dirty floors, lockers, benches. Constantly wet countertops and sinks full of body hair.
It's clear management does not have a grasp on keeping the facility well-maintained. All while monthly dues have increased 80% since I joined a few years ago. Was $100 now $180!!

This establishment allows and takes part in racial discrimination to POC. They have a policy that restricts from showing other members but when people are being actively discriminated against and this behavior goes unchecked from management, then people have every right to document this in whatever way they see fit. We will never be able to grow and prosper and be united until all people are held accountable for their actions and it shouldn’t have to start with the person who is experiencing the discrimination to begin with.
I highly suggest you find another place to work out at until this establishment can take responsibility for their part in condoning the actions of some members while completely neglecting another members right to feeling safe and respected within their business.

I had to update my review to a one from a three star. 2 years ago they told me I was going to be charged an extra $10 now. Today I get an email that says i'm being charged and extra twenty dollars. That's a ten dollar increase for every year I keep going.
I'm giving 3 stars because it's a great gym but looses so many points for being cold. Once you work up a sweat you get the chills. Especially after a run on the mills. Turn the heat on your customers pay top dollar no reason to be cheap when you're ringing out your customers pockets

I read the reviews before coming here and I tried to keep an open mind. I watched one elderly woman steal another woman’s water bottle, the other woman caught her and confronted her. On another day, I also heard another woman complain that an item of hers was stolen. I was in town for 4 days.
My male friend came with me on the first day and a man’s shoes were stolen from the locker room. My question is, why are there so many lockers and people leaving their things all over the place like it’s their home?
The bathrooms stalls in the locker room are super dusty and I found out that the hand railings are rusty enough to stain your clothing.
The mats on the weight floor are shredding and falling apart. This is sadly has been my least favorite Lifetime I’ve been to so far.

I've been a member of this gym for a while now and have generally been happy with the facilities and services. However, I was disappointed to have lost 3 pair of shoes on separate occasions while working out here.
The first time, I left my shoes in the womens locker room and they vanished. I thought maybe I had just misplaced them, but after asking around and checking with staff, it was clear that they were gone.
The second time, my husband lost two pairs same way.The staff would not show you the shoes that’s in lost and found. They just ask for description and say it’s not found.
While I understand that mistakes can happen, losing a pair of shoes not once but thrice in the same gym is frustrating and inconvenient. I hope the gym can take steps to improve the security and accountability of members' belongings.
Overall, I still think this gym has a lot to offer, but I would advise members to be extra careful with their belongings."

I waited 5 months to write this review but it was worth every second. The facilities are extremely clean. The people are fantastic. There is enough equipment even if you go at the busiest times. People are so nice that workout there and the staff is great. The food in the cafe is delicious but very pricy. $10 for a protein shake?? I will be going to this gym for a long long time!

I love this gym! The large variety of things to do here makes working out fun. The kids area is nice and my son loves going while we work out. The açaí bowls are great and I love this option. A juice bar would be awesome, but they do sell juice shots in the refrigerator area. Taylor is my personal trainer and she has been wonderful and so nice to work with. She picks an appropriate level of difficulty for me and I really appreciate that. Very clean, they have everything you need in the locker rooms, and all of the staff are so friendly.

The gym itself was great. Clean locker rooms, everything was stocked and neat and orderly, staff was friendly, kind, and attentive in locker rooms. Great variety of equipment. The spa staff, however, was rude, was rather aggressive, impatient and just incompetent. I believe her name was Jennifer. I had a complaint and she took out her life’s frustrations on me. She became very passive aggressive, insisting that her mess was my fault, made harsh remarks aimed at staff and members and said things completely inappropriate to be saying to a member.

I was in town for a meeting and staying at the Fairfield across the street. Lucky for me, I'm a Life Time member in my hometown and they let me work out here as a courtesy since I was visiting. What an amazing property! The place was apparently opened in 2019 and still looks pristine, the cafe is huge compared to any of the other ones I've seen, plus I was in disbelief that this one has a BAR! You could truly spend all day here, lol.
I got in a fantastic workout, had a great shake at the cafe, and met tons of friendly staff. Plus, the place was packed full of tons of people who were all very respectful, etc. so 5 stars all around. If you live in the area, check this place out!

Nice gym but the cleanliness is horrible..I have seen gas station bathrooms cleaner than the ones at this gym. Lifetime needs the step it up and keep updated on cleaning their locker rooms for the amount of money members pay to use their facilities which should be a given for their “high quality” gym.

I recently received notice that starting January 1, seniors like me will only be able to use the facility during restricted hours... unless we upgrade our Medicare membership to Signature which is an additional $100 per month. The seniors I have talked to are upset to put it mildly. Makes them feel like second-class citizens. I've been a member of Lifetime Fitness for a couple of years. I've love it there! Awesome staff. Excellent equipment. Clean and well maintained. Not sure I'll be returning in 2024, though. Seems to me that Lifetime is being short-sighted about seniors and Medicare membership specifically, placing profit before people. Very disappointing.

If you want to teach your kids swimming, please find another place. Very poor communication, not friendly at all. They cheated on the number of lessons my daughter took. They work as a group, if you complain they will getting worse and worse. Some swimming teachers teach while putting towels on and never entered the water.

Was an original member and loved the gym. Had to move away and just moved back in the area. All I want is to use the gym section with no classes and it’s 179 a month. That’s too expensive for me now. Wish they had a gym only option with no classes for someone like me that has a more reasonable price. Will need to find another gym option

I used to absolutely love going to this gym. I moved out of state for a year and have since moved back. I asked if Lifetime could honor my old membership and they cannot do it at the club level but encouraged me to call corporate. I understand that. However, when I called corporate they showed zero interest in helping me. They did not so much as ask my name, look up my previous membership, ask what club I was from, ask how long I’d been a member, ask about circumstances, etc. Evidently they do not want my business. The prices here have become astronomical. I used to pay $280 + tax for my family of 5 which was already pushing it but we justified it because of the value. Now the same membership would cost me $350 + tax. Evidently they are seeking a different clientele than myself. Disappointed with the lack of customer service and the disregard for my circumstances, but I guess they must not be hurting for members.

Disappointing experience at the pool today! It's frustrating to pay a premium, only to discover that the pool slide is closed and the cafe has been inactive for a while. The main facility is great, gym is huge tons of squat racks. Locker rooms are sizeable with a sauna steam room and a jacuzzi built into the men's and women's. Staff are kind people.
Only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because of how small the pools are. Pools are often the main reason you'd go to a place like this so its disappointing to see how small they are

Former Life Time member here, a couple of concerns. First off they took away a perfectly fine half court of Basketball and replaced it with pickle ball. Basketball was the whole reason I was going there in the first place. With the amount of money LifeTime makes their is no reason their can’t be a separate court dedicated to Pickleball and for the soccer people of the gym their can also be a separate court for soccer maybe even double that one separate court for both but don’t take away any part of the beautiful Basketball court .The Covid hours suck 24/7 or at the very least closing at midnight should be a thing they should have brought back by now. Not closing at 10 during the week or 9 during the weekends. Lastly the personal training program, while I know it’s not a guarantee to see results after 3 months of working out you’d think that after spending $800 for those 3 months you’d make some serious progress but that wasn’t case and to top things off after what I thought I found a new friend in my personal trainer wound up not being a friend at all shortly after our sessions ended I did not hear from him nor did he say hi to me in passing.

Lifetime Brookfield is a perfect example of under achievement. LTBRKF is good but not great. Management focus is on all the extra fee based services. It seems parents just let young children run wild and unsupervised throughout the entire facility. I’m not sure if parents are even in the building or they just drop the kids off at the door for free baby sitting. I’m not sure if management has any rules and certainly I never see anyone enforcing them. Sometimes it feels like you are in an elementary/middle school environment. Lifetime needs to really try to separate itself from a ymca type environment. While I play pickleball I have seen small children run wild onto the pickleball and basketball courts recklessly while large adults are moving at full speed. Very dangerous. These children(boys&girls) I seen appear to be young as maybe 6 or 7 years old. I called and told management about this and asked management to make designated hours for family time for children. Of course I never heard anything back. It just all seems very unorganized. Also I belong to a large group of pickleballers from around the area and I’m trying to get them to join lifetime but they simply refuse because of the clubs hours. Many of them work in the medical field and get off work late. The 10pm close and 9pm saturday closing time are just a hard hard sell. Also a hard sell are the high pickleball fees. Much better options around the area that are open late for young professionals that have off hours. Last but not least some dear friends of mine play basketball in same gym as the pickleball and they feel a sense of conflict with us pickleballers. They feel we took over the gym without their consent. While I’m very happy to have nice pickleball courts at lifetime I do feel bad for the large basketball community that utilized the gym all these years. It would of been nice not to take away from them to get our pickleball. Basketball is very popular sport that results in great natural stretching and movement and exercise that’s good for the mind body and soul for all that play for all genders and ages.
I would just love to see this lifetime step it’s game up with longer hours and more rules for unsupervised children under 13 years old. Letting these young children run wild on our pickleball and basketball courts are not good policy. The Kids In Motion play time atmosphere is not what I signed up for.
Let’s set some rules and extend hours to maybe 11pm or midnight and everyone is happy.
I wanna see LT Brookfield turn it around and overachieve.
It will benefit us all and will be good for business.

I been a member here for nearly 3 years. This place is great. The staff is beyond excellent. The cleanliness of the entire facility is 2nd to none… But for some odd reason THE HOURS are still stuck on “PANDEMIC hours.” It’s ridiculous that this place closes at 10pm especially for the rates which keep steadily climbing. It was bad enough that they took away 2 of the basketball courts for pickle ball but now it’s so packed on the 1 side that it’s hard to even get in a game… Shooting around isn’t even an option anymore during the final 2-3 hours of the night. Last week, the wait was over an hour for a bunch of us before anyone got into a game and by time you did get in, you had abt 20 mins to play and time was up cuz the club closes. If it’s open later, that addresses the issue of the crowded basketball area and gives us all enough time to play and get a good workout in… I don’t think there’s any other Lifetime facility in the country that still stuck on “Pandemic hours.”

After being a member for 3 years, I’m having to revise my review. While I’m still a member, I will be actively considering going to a new gym. Recently lifetime decided to eliminate one of the basketball courts in favor of pickle ball. I have no problem with pickle ball but now effectively you can’t play basketball anymore especially if you brought kids with. I never played basketball before joining this gym and I got into it specifically for the cardio. In the process I found that I really liked it and met a lot of new friends through it. Unfortunately I’m no where near as good as people that have been playing their whole lives so I need considerably more practice at shooting. Now I don’t feel like I will continue to have that opportunity. I think Lifetime could’ve found another place to put pickle ball. Almost no one is ever playing it to make things worse. Hopefully they will reconsider and bring back the second court. I really don’t rate this gym one star but I want someone here to notice this review since they ignore our frustration otherwise.
Old review
Lifetime is a great gym, The staff is polite, the locker rooms are spacious, the pool is awesome for family time with a specific shallow pool for children and a big pool setup outside that I haven’t gone on in person but it looks like it will be tons of fun for the kids in the summer. They have 2 full basketball courts tons of cardio equipment ranging from bikes to stairs to rowing machines to traditional treadmills to the curved ones, ellipticals and they have a lot of classes included in your membership. You can join a yoga class if you want some stretching or biking class or kettle bell cardio all included. There are numerous other optional paid classes as well. They have a large assortment of weights and equipment and its all in good condition, not neglected like some gyms. They have a sauna and steam room in the locker rooms and a hot tub in the locker rooms and in the pool area. Again kept clean unlike other gyms I’ve been to. The sauna is nice also in that they keep it hot and require clothing or a towel so you don’t have to look at any naked old guys stretching their bare backs for all to view. The cafe is convenient when it’s open and they have a pretty good selection of healthy food. It’s a big gym with a lot of space and I really enjoy it.

Used to be a member and will not go back and spend any more of my money here. The salon team came into a fine dining restaurant and tipped the server in a private dining event 10% which is especially concerning because I’m assuming they may also receive tips for a living and know what it’s like to rely on tips. They are a reflection of their company and that night they showed they don’t support other hard working young women, so I don’t intend to support the business they work for.

I will say that this is an amazing facility. However I joined for the basketball courts almost exclusively. When touring the gym explained I was leaving the WAC due to Pickleball taking over the basketball courts. Was assured that the basketball courts were for basketball only. And slowly over time more and more half of one court started to be taken for Pickleball. Come to find out today they are closing one court all together for Pickleball. Wouldn’t be a big deal if the basketball courts were dead all the time. But any given weeknight there are probably a minimum of 30 people.

I'm a member of Lifetime and have been going to Lifetime Fitness for years. Many years actually all through Minnesota before this Brookfield facility even opened. I've had all good experiences until today when entering the facility to just hang out for about an hour until time for my son's basketball game elsewhere. I checked my kids in, but my son left his membership card at home so he used the LifeTime app on his phone. At the front desk I told the woman checking is in that he has a card but he forgot it.The woman said, "So you don't have a card then you should get another one or you'll have to do this every time you come." I had to repeat that he misplaced his card at home just before we came, but he has one. I had my kids and my niece (14 years old) with me and I asked the woman if my niece could come in with us and chill for a bit and watch my son shoot around before his basketball game. She asked did my niece want to sit by the Cafe area until he was done and I replied, "Um no. We're just trying to hang out until my son's game begins at another facility." She says, "So she's going to use this facility?" I reply, "No she's not going to use anything. We're just going to watch my son shoot for a while then we're leaving." Then she says, "Well that's using the facility." I was shocked. I couldn't believe what she just said. Then she told me I'd have to fill out a guest pass online and have my niece's mother fill it out to use the facility because I wasn't her parent, when my niece wasn't going to be using the facility in the first place. Just wierd. But my niece's Mom fills out the pass online so I let her use the facility at that point as to not let the pass go to waste for the day. So after that my kids and I are in the pool area and after a few minutes here comes a manager life guard guy asking how old are my kids and if they know how to swim and if they can take a swimming test in water that's 3',6" deep. We were just in the pool 2 days prior & countless times before that and had no issues or heard of this swimming test at all. He was easy to talk with tho and understanding as I explained that my kids (ages 7 & 8) can't swim extremely well, but I've taught them how to handle themselves and know their limits and precautions in the water. Then about 20 minutes later my daughter comes to me saying a female life guard told her that she has to take a swim test if she wants to be in the 3',6" side of the outdoor pool. My daughter stands in 4' water with ease. But anyway, I was fed up at that point and decided it was time to go. The whole hour and change we were there I felt like I wasn't a member. I did not enjoy the little time we had there. And on the way out of the facility we received no farewell, no usual "have a nice day" or "have a good one" or anything. Nor did the next couple of patrons exiting the building. Just lazy looks in a staff huddle whispering to each other. Maybe next time will be like most times.

Great gym for cardio and basketball. However, there are only 5 or 6 incline benches in the whole place that are always packed and while there are ample squat racks, they are often roped off for some class being taught. If you are there between 5:00AM or 8:30PM, make it a cardio day and lift somewhere else.

As the gym has gotten way busier there's been no changes except raising the membership prices. Idk if it is the schools being on summer break but it's been hard to get anything done efficiently lately due to waiting for machines. On the weekends I sometimes go to the Lifetimes in the Chicago suburbs and those are open 2 hours later than this one and I've never seen those locations as busy as here. I don't mind coming later to avoid crowds but the hours don't really allow for that.

Love coming here, great facility with many great perks. However, I’m really disappointed in the times they are open. I wish they would extend their times by at least an hour or two, especially on the weekends when they close earlier than usual and open later than usual. The 9/10 pm close time really does not leave enough time for those who work late and aren’t able to get there in time. We pay a hefty amount a month and it sucks to feel rushed through your workout at night and not even having the option of going early in the morning on the weekends.

I’ve never been a member at a “real” gym before, until last year. I was in Brookfield last October and November, visiting my daughter and her family. My daughter is a fitness machine!! She convinced me to join the gym with her while I was there. It was one of the best decisions!! From the moment you walk in the door at LIFETIME,where they welcome you by name, you are completely surrounded by positive people and positive energy.
Nikki is genuinely a kind and wonderful woman to work with, we bonded over grand babies! She set me up with my membership easily and always made sure to visit with me when I would see her. We would chat and she was always full of compliments and she always remembered my name💜Truly a lovely human inside and out!!! Thank you Nikki!!
Then, there’s David, beside the fact that he’s a cycling machine he makes you feel like you’ve known each other forever! The energy he puts off is magical! David is amazing at helping you look inside yourself to see what it is you need to focus on in that moment! At the end of class he would always turn the lights down, place candles around and remind us how good we are and how loved we are. I’m not going to lie, he made me cry a few times (good tears) 💜David always gave me shoutouts encouraging me to keep going! He believes in his people and makes his people believe in themselves!! Thank you David!!
Let’s not forget Strike with Michelle! Whew!!! She has an amazing class!! I loved it and wished it had been offered several times a week!! Michelle knows how to crank up the music and get you wanting to stay even longer!! Michelle always gave me kudos, even though I knew I looked like a train wreck trying to keep up with everyone else. Bless her heart though, she never gave up on me!💜Thank you Michelle!!
I’m coming back to visit my daughter and I can’t wait to see everyone at LIFETIME again!! You really REALLY need to try it!! Once you do nothing else can compare!!
Truly life changing!

I love this place, it's a very nice and upscale facility, clean, has very helpful staff, the only issue is the corporate changed timings without consulting with it's member. At the time of signing up they were open till 11 pm and now it's shortened to 10 pm.

I've been a founding member with Lifetime Brookfield since they opened, and it has been a wonderful experience every time I go! I love that they have lots of different classes and times to choose from. My favorites are the cycle classes ;-) The instructors are amazing! They make classes fun, but push you to make the most of your workout.
I have a 2 yr old that has been going to the Kids Academy since he was 3 months old. I just cant say enough about the employees there. They are all wonderful and have always taken good care of my little one. He loves spending time playing there while I get to workout and have some me time. :-)
It is a little on the pricier side, but there’s also so many amenities at your disposal from the indoor/outdoor pools, spacious locker rooms, lots of workout machines, sauna & steam room, and a cafe! I would definitely recommend this gym to families because they do their best to accommodate everyone.

Life Time is our family’s home away from home. We are so pleased with the dedication and commitment the staff has to guide us in our fitness goals. The classes are well rounded to meet the needs of every skill level. I love the kids academy! They are fantastic with our daughter and she is always ecstatic when we say we are going there. The pool is amazing too. We have taken advantage of the swim lessons and love the instructors and their passion towards teaching our children. I cannot say enough good things about this gym. We love them!

I can honestly say joining Lifetime 2 years ago was the best decision I have made. First off the gym has everything you need and is like my second home! The group instructors all take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you start at. One of my favorite classes that I take multiple times a week is David Curtis’s AMP class. I was so bad when I started but he was always there encouraging me.
I just recently signed up for the signature membership which allows you do small group training and that has definitely got me out of my comfort zone.
I have two kiddos and they love the kid’s academy. Alicia does such a great job running that area. I never worry when my kids are in any of their hands.

This place is incredible! It has given new life to my workout routine and I dare you to find a better spin class than the one and only, David Curtis! He inspires physically, mentally and emotionally!

The only negative thing about this gym is the amount of people that do not re-rack their weights. Specifically the plates. Paying $120 a month to pick up after other gym members is a big no from me.
