I have been a client of MG FitLife for five years, and just read the book _Outlive_ by Peter Attia. There were so many times while reading the book that I thought, "That's what Mike said, too!" Highly recommend Mike and his approach to fitness and health. He simplifies the parts that can be overwhelming. I love the Women's Lifting Group and the community I have found there. The set up and structure of Mike's program gets me a warm up, lift, and stretch in, within 45-55 minutes. I don't have to think (much); I just have to show up!

Mike is the most attentive and thoughtful trainer, he genuinely wants each client to reach their goals and knows the path for them to do so. I've been doing 6AM MWF workouts with Mike since April 2014. Time flies when you're having fun. :) Mike's unique blend of physical fitness/training skills and registered dietitian credentials, and the welcoming feeling and camaraderie of his small group, works great for me. I'm happier and healthier because of it. If you show up for class and listen to Mike about diet, sleep, and exercise, it can work for you too.

I've been working out with various personal trainers during the past 9 years and I finally found in Mike the one who was able to help me achieve the results I've been striving for - enjoying an active life with a pain-free back! I'm 65 years old, had fusion of my L4-L5 9 years ago, and continued to have back pain on and off until the last year training with Mike. During my 2 days/week personal training sessions we focus on the areas to strengthen my core and the muscles supporting my back. Mike is as flexible and accommodating as possible when it comes to scheduling one-on-one sessions.
I also attend bootcamp 3 days/week for cardio, endurance and the camaraderie and encouragement of the group. Mike consistently keeps his eye on each member to make sure their form is correct and explains how we can get the most out of each exercise. For those with physical limitations, he is always able to share modifications.
From January through March, I worked with Mike (also is a registered dietician) on my nutrition goals. So instead of gaining the Covid-10, I lost 10#'s and learned valuable skills and knowledge to move forward on my own and not gain the weight back but continue to maintain or lose.
No matter what your age, if you want an extremely knowledgeable, personable, compassionate and motivating trainer, I encourage you to give Mike a try. You won't be disappointed.

I have worked with Mike since he opened at the Verona site. Group classes also allow you to work at your pace and physical ability. Had hip replacement two years ago and he made sure I was following proper rehabilitation instructions. For the past year have been in a 3 day a week zoom class. This worked well and also provided the ability to go back to a particular workout and do it again. Would recommend Mike to anyone looking for a trainer.

I can't recommend MG FitLife enough. I have worked with Mike ever since the Verona site opened, following him from the gym he worked at previously. The Verona gym is well-maintained and classes are small. Group classes work flexibility, strength, and aerobics using a variety of exercises & equipment, offering individual adaptations as needed. Private sessions are available. As a nutritionist and trainer, Mike expertly covers two essential parts to living a healthy life. As my senior years advance (I'm now 73), I have moved from classes to private sessions that are tailored exactly to my health needs as I deal with arthritis, joint replacements, and other physical issues of old age. I always feel better and stronger after working out with Mike. I have also watched Mike work with young athletes in training as well as kids with physical handicaps. I'm always impressed with his broad knowledge, great listening skills, and gentle persuasion that seem to engage all his clients. This gym is worth your attention.

MG FitLife is an exceptional business. Mike, our trainer/owner provides individuals with an all around class hitting all areas within your allotted time. He also provides modifications as needed. One of his many assets is being very helpful if having a plateau or struggling in areas and you want input. If your not at that place currently due to life, stress etc he provides you with unbiased support and guidance. He offers individual or group classes, online coaching and he also is a Registered Dietician. You will not be sorry joining the MG FitLife family.

I've been working with Mike both in person and as an online client since 2016. Mike met me where I was both from a physical fitness perspective and commitment level. Over the years he helped me achieve my goals by steadily adjusting my workouts, holding me accountable, and eventually convincing me to deal with my nutrition. He did this with a positive approach that never made me feel guilty. And of course, did all of this while accommodating pre-existing injuries I was dealing with. Mike is the best trainer I have ever had! So accommodating and helpful with the workouts and moves. He takes the time to show you and critique you when needed, as well as provide accommodations if necessary.
Plus, the different workout groups that I have been apart of there have all been welcoming, motivating, and butt-kicking (in a good way). Been going to him for about 3 years, and I will continue to do so!
