I love this yoga studio. I have grown so much as a hot power yogi since joining. The membership is fantastic. I go to as many classes as I can. Super clean. I would eat off the floors. Playlists are amazing. Instructors are phenomenal. Ten stars.

I have been going to MPY for just over a year and can confidently say that every instructor is AMAZING! They are all so warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. As someone who moved to Milwaukee several years ago from out of state, I have become especially grateful for this community!

I’ve tried three other hot yoga studios in MKE and my favorite by far has been Milwaukee Power Yoga! Each instructor is welcoming and introduces different flows and challenges to keep me coming back. The temperature is enough to give me a good sweat but I can still focus on pushing myself in my workout without the heat taking over. I love bringing friends to the classes because it has become one of my favorite workouts!

I was in town for the Marathon this past weekend and realized my Airbnb was two doors down from the studio. Stumbled upon their listing of free hot yoga classes on Saturday and my crazy brain thought…Why not?🤷‍♂️ Despite competing a marathon just a couple hours before. Well I must say the instructor student did a fantastic job and help get a kickstart on my marathon recovery😳 Great staff and good energy from the class too! On my next trip to Milwaukee I will definitely be hitting up another session here!!!

Love the classes here. There's a wide variety of times that fit my schedule. All the instructors are awesome and super helpful! Make sure to bring a towel because you will sweat 😝 and arrive a little early to look for parking which can be a challenge in this area depending on the time you go.

Love this hot yoga studio! When I lived in Milwaukee I was so pleased when I found this studio. They have wonderful instructors, great upbeat music and vibe, and I always felt comfortable and safe during COVID times when they opened back up. If you are looking for a fabulous hot yoga studio, give them a try! Highly recommend!

I’ve been going here for almost two years, I really feel like it’s a second home. I’ve come to be close with some teachers and feel my practice has really been able to grow so much! I appreciate everything they have done to make the space Covid conscious. Wearing the masks in class is not nearly as odd as you may think. Every class is different and you learn to add in different teachers each week based off what you and your body are looking for at that time.

I practiced here like 6 months. It's a clean studio, the yoga is really good. The schedule is good and has options for any time. My only complaint is it's only power yoga but that's the name so I can't really take off a star. Also really no hands on adjustments are offered.
But overall a good studio and the intro special is a good deal.

I often times get anxious before a yoga class because I don't always know what I am doing and other clients are much more skilled in their practice. However, I feel very welcomed and calmed at Milwaukee Power Yoga. There is no sense of intimidations and all of the instructors that I have attended encourage each student to take the class at their own pace - which I LOVE. Side note - I attended class with Susie this past Friday and absolutely loved her playlist.

Milwaukee Power Yoga is a little different from the rest. They lock the door once class begins. I really like this practice as it can be quite distracting to have “late comers” enter when you’re trying to get your zen on. If this is your first class, I suggest arriving 15 minutes early to fill out the waiver and snag a spot in the studio. Classes tend to fill fast, especially during those peak evening hours when people are trying to decompress after a stressful day. I also suggest signing up online beforehand. The studio offers a $10 pass for 10 days for those attending for the first time. This is an inexpensive way to see if the studio fits your style without breaking the bank.

All classes are heated and you will sweat. I mean drip onto the floor sweat. And...you will love it! The studio has mats and towels that you can rent. These aren’t just your bath towels, but non-slip ones that help with grip. Let me tell you, when you are sitting in your pool in the first 15 minutes of class, and your back foot keeps slipping in Warrior I, you will wish you had one. If you don’t have your own, pay the $2 or $3 and rent one.

The studio has bathrooms, changing rooms and a place to store your belongings during class. They do not have showers. When I go to class, I usually bring water (they do have a water fountain there), my mat and a yoga towel. Wear comfortable clothes. Yes, you will see younger women wearing tight yoga pants, but if you want to pull out your harem pants from India, go right ahead. Generally speaking, there are usually a few guys in each class from various age groups. If you are a guy, you probably won’t be alone. Point being, come as you are and know that you will be welcomed.

I’ve gone to at least 5 different studios in Milwaukee and this one has the BEST teachers and musical selection. Hands on adjustments are rarely done (even though I like them and welcome them). Teachers are knowledgeable, willing to answer questions, offer modifications or amplifications, and bring something special to every class (like a little spritz of lavender in the air during savasana).

I just got back to Milwaukee and haven’t taken classes with all the teachers yet (I’m sure they are all talented), but I can recommend Karly Sopcic (down to earth, contagious enthusiasm, challenging class but her verbal cues are on point and she is FIT, not in that intimidating way but inspiring, like, you too can be that badass.), Kate Dean (experienced and confident, offers a lot of variety and you leave her class feeling “WOW!”), and, of course, Laura Yell (her musical selection will have you singing along in no time, but don’t lose your ujjayi breathing, her voice is soothing and her flow feels natural. She radiates this tangible tranquility and by the end of class, you can feel it too!).

If you need someone to give you a push, go. I promise you won’t regret it. The worst thing that could happen is you paid $10 to get sweaty and feel relaxed. Things could be worse and you probably spent $10 on sillier things.

Thank you MPY for creating such a phenomenal space to practice!

I have now been attending Milwaukee Power Yoga for about 5 months. Prior to joining here, I had actually done all of the intro specials to the hot yoga studios in the area. I chose Milwaukee Power Yoga because they truly care about their members and really focus on each class being your yoga. The additional workshops that they offer to focus more on technique or special poses are fantastic but all the teachers in every class are wonderful about helping you with technique anyway. I feel that they do it in a really great way so that it is not intrusive or even very noticeable to the the rest of the class but they ensure they you aren't doing anything to hurt yourself. If you are new to yoga or just want a super fun challenge, Kate is definitely my favorite teacher. Her Tuesday beginner class is amazing for just starting and if you have questions. Her Tuesday and Saturday morning classes are challenging but also really fun.

I really enjoy attending classes at Milwaukee Power Yoga. Having attended other hot yoga offerings in Milwaukee, I like that the class is 60 minutes long (instead of 90). They offer a variety of class times and I really enjoyed the candlelight yoga offered in the evenings. Instructors are welcoming and it's a great workout in addition to good self-care. I wish they had showers, but it's easy enough to bring a change of clothes (there are several changing rooms) and shower at home.

I just moved back to Milwaukee, I had some great instructors in Minneapolis and I am looking for a studio that I can call home. I did the trial period at this studio, I went to a class 5 days out of the 10 day trial period and each of the classes were very similar. I decided not to make it my studio because I am looking for something that is more challenging with more variety. The instructors are nice enough and the studio is clean, just wasn't for me.

Over the last two months I have come to Milwaukee Power Yoga 1-2 times per week and I am very much enjoying it.

I am primarily a runner and I really enjoy this type of yoga as a form of cross training because I feel like it compliments my training very well. My favorite class is Erin's Slow Flow class -- I love her teaching style and the slower speed is a really great contrast to running. The heat makes you feel like you are working harder and really helps to loosen you up. The entire staff seems great and very welcoming. I just wish people weren't so chatty in the studio before class starts -- but that is much more a reflection on the participants, rather than the studio itself.

Bring water, bring a towel and go at your own pace. It is a really great place and I am so glad it is in the neighborhood.

Excellent studio. I've been practicing for several years and consider this studio to be my favorite. The atmosphere is very warm (haha) and the teachers are welcoming. They even remembered my name :) If there's one thing that preps a person for a great yoga class, it's comfort. After walking in the studio with the day already buzzing in my ear after work, I have found great relief in the simple 'hello, how was your day?' coming from the desk and a smiling face. Their equipment is readily available and clean, their facility is sleek, roomy, and easy to navigate, and it's near some great restaurants for after-practice munchies! Parking's tough so I either walk or get there 10 minutes early to find a spot and get settled in. Try it out! They usually have a great deal for newbies :)

I've just started going to Milwaukee Power Yoga and I loved it from day 1. Sometimes trying a new gym is intimidating because you don't know your way around and it seems like everyone else does, but this was not the case here. I was greeted with a smile and the instructor asked if I was new so she could show me around. The studio is simple, inviting, and clean. I tried 3 different instructors during my introductory week and they were all wonderful. I feel so good, physically and mentally, after each class and the hour goes by so fast ... I highly recommend Milwaukee Power Yoga!
