At Milwaukee Yard they have a FANTASTIC daycare called Active. We have had our child there since she was 6 months old. The teachers and staff there are so great with the kids. They teach with compassion and do a lot of hands on activities with the kids. We recommend Active to anyone who wants a positive experience with daycare.

Have been playing for 26 years and came to the yard right when it opened it started off flow as not many teams knew about it yet. But now it is getting more established and yet still noone can run a league properly. This has been the 3rd session in a row where we have had a severe injury on the team and no cards have been given no suspensions and the staff has no idea what to do and says they will take care then does nothing. We had just had a guy get his head cracked open last week and no card was given during it the ref said he didn't see who it was and he was taken to the ER for staples immediately. They condone it by not doing it and people know this and repeatedly try and injury others for it being a competitive and non league there needs to be more repercussions. This is ridiculous we pay hard earned money to come and play for then to get severely injured over a game blood has been drawn way too many times and the inconsistency is ridiculous in how the game is played and much more. Terrible service, terrible refs, and starting to not be worth the money or time for the results.

This review is directly regarding some ongoing issues in the soccer league. I know you’ve already received multiple emails from players about these concerns, yet you refuse to address them so we have no other option but to leave reviews for you guys to hear us out.

1. Referee Inconsistency
One of the biggest challenges we’ve seen is the lack of consistency from referees. Different referees seem to enforce different rules, which creates confusion on the field. For example, what counts as a foul or an acceptable play with one ref might not be called by another. This inconsistency often leads to frustration between players and can cause unnecessary conflicts during games.

2. Game Time and Value
Each team pays $850 to play, with the expectation of a full 50-minute game. However, in reality, that’s rarely the time we get. Referees do not stop the clock, there is no real warm-up period, and games often start late—meaning five minutes are gone before the match even begins. On top of that, the clock continues running during halftime. As a result, most games fall short of the promised 25-minute halves, which feels unfair given the cost.

3. Playoff Scheduling
Lastly, the playoff structure has been very difficult for teams. Having to play multiple back-to-back games in a single day is too demanding and diminishes the quality of play. Splitting the playoffs across two days would not only help players perform better but would also make the competition more enjoyable and balanced.

4. Lack of League-Provided Game Balls
Another issue is that despite paying $850 for the league, there are times when neither team has a proper game ball available. We’ve had to play with poor-quality or worn-down balls, which lowers the quality of the match and can even increase the risk of injury. A league charging this much should consistently provide proper, quality soccer balls for all matches.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider making adjustments to address these concerns. We all joined this league because we love the game and the community it creates, and it would mean a lot to see improvements in how things are organized.

My son has been attending this center for the past 4 years and I’ve never had any issues. The summer camp program is phenomenal. Most weeks they have 3-4 field trips a week. I love the photos that they send me throughout the day and I love the communication I get from the coaches. Coach Breanna, Coach Alivia, and Coach Sebastian have been wonderful this summer. I definitely recommend after school sports program!

Our family had such a great time celebrating a 6 year old birthday at the Milwaukee Yard . We are especially greatfull for our host Charlie ! We have been going to Friday night family open play and we LOVE it! We can go from the fields to the courts to the play tower and my daughter is never bored. She loves the bounce houses! I love this place! Both of my kids attend programs and they have the best coaches that I have ever seen. They go on field trips and truly keep the kids engaged and having fun instead of them just playing with toys all day. Totally worth the price! I love it!

This is our first summer camp at the Milwaukee Yard and our daughter is loving it. Coach Takia, Coach Breanna and Coach Nathan to name a few have been critical in helping with her adjustment to the new setting and routine; they are just wonderful. Ms Meghan and Ms Kimberly are incredibly responsive and willing to work through anything that may come up. I’m glad we found this option this year. Our daughter is worn out in the best way after every day of camp!

I have been apart of the Milwaukee Yard for over a year now, and I absolutely love it ! It is a great place for children to work on their social skills, get some energy out, and of course play, play and play! Milwaukee Yard has many different options for all age groups anywhere from day care for the littles, summer camps for the older ones, and even skill camps for sports. I love how many learning opportunities it holds for kids, giving them memories they will remember forever !

My 11 year old and my family absolutely Love…. Mikwaukee Yard in Oak Creek! All their staff is so friendly and accommodating and do such a wonderful job with the children. They plan cute activities- arts and crafts- all different sport activities and so much more!!! My son is enrolled in their childcare where they pick him up by their company bus from school and bring him back to their facility. They offer a snack to all the kids which is great and they make sure their facility is clean and the kids wash their hands and go above and beyond there! They really care about your child and keep them in great hands there! I’ve been extremely impressed and for the price you can’t go anywhere else! My son also has been enrolled in their sport camps which he had a great experience and made new friends, learned new techniques and he had a fantastic time and their coaches are awesome! This is such a wonderful place for children and their families all around.

Very Special Facility I Must Say There Are Some Cons As I Been Going To The Milwaukee Yard I Am A Basketball Player , It Feels More About Money More Than Sports In Some Occasions Also I’ve Been Learning It’s Been A Struggle Dealing With Basketball There. Such As Days Changing, Fee Went Up from 10 to 12 bucks which is fine but the amount of time being there to play basketball has shorten by far. Any Other Sport You Can Most Likely Be There As Long As You Want. Also Kids Can’t Play In The Playground Area Such As My Son, Only On Fridays And You’ll Be Lucky If You Get In On That Day If There Isn’t a Party Going Which They Have Rights To Ask You’re Child To Leave Because There Not Along with the Party.

Our party leader, was unfortunately, not a leader at all. He didn't introduce himself to any of us and was very hands off during the party. While the kids were in the field room, he completely ignored them. I set up the parachute for the kids to play with and I had to walk over to him (while he was kicking balls into a goal) and ask if he could set up tug of war for us. I don't know why I had to select 3 activities because he didn't do any of them with the kids. And, much of the equipment was worn and dirty. When we got to the party room I had to ask him to go get the cupcakes. And when he got back, I then had to ask to get the presents. While the kids waited and waited....I also cleaned up the party room and when I was almost finished he came over and said I didn't have to do that and he would clean it up. When I got home, I received a call from Milwaukee Yard that I need to pay the remainder due for the party and have to call with my credit card information. Why didn't someone ask when I was there checking in? Then they had the nerve to ask if I wanted to add a tip for the party leader. Um, no. I am very disappointed with the whole experience. It was a lot of money for very little party. I do not recommend having a party at Milwaukee Yard.

We had our son’s 8th birthday party there and it was fantastic. It was easy to book online, had great communication with the party coordinator, Gabriella, leading up to the party, and the day of was smooth and perfect. Milwaukee yard exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait for our next party with them. Charlie worked with our large group of kids (20+ kids) and he was energetic, kind, and so much fun. The kids adored him and had an absolute blast. The food was great and the whole process was so easy. Staff are overall very friendly. Thank you for Michele for answering our questions and taking time to make us feel at home there. Would recommend to everyone!

Had my daughter’s birthday party here over the weekend and I can’t even begin to explain how AMAZING it was!
Our hosts, Matthew & Emma, were so amazing! Matthew played with my whole group of girls and even played Taylor swift for them the entire time! (He even stayed interacting and having fun with my smaller nephews while the older girls made music videos)
He was so helpful and welcoming, made sure the kids were all engaged and happy, and even got into the bounce houses with them and played a fun mini game of dodgeball
We are so pleased with this birthday party and will be doing it again!!

A little late for this review, but I feel as if its important enough to mention in case this event happens in the years ahead. My fiancé and I signed our 1 year old daughter up for the Easter egg hunt and breakfast. The waffles were cold and hard like hockey pucks. I understand that there is a heavy volume of these waffles that need to get served, but there HAS GOT TO BE a better process. I paid for a breakfast for 3 people that barely touched their food. The topping bars were a disaster as well. No one was monitoring it and kids were scooping ingredients on to their waffles with their HANDS.

Next, there was not enough seating... not nearly enough. People were sitting on the floor trying to balance plates on their laps when eating and attempting to manage their children at the same time. It was an absolute mess. Sitting on bleachers to eat food is unacceptable as well. More table seating would be ideal.

The Easter egg hunt was limited to age groups and there was clear communication about that from the Milwaukee Yard staff. Some parents didn't do their job though and kids were stealing eggs from my daughter's hands as she was trying to pick them up. It was super unfair. At least when we were walking out, my daughter was able to choose some prizes from the tubs at the front desk.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to get a Milwaukee Yard sign near the road, besides the one on the building. If you're driving down 13th, you can easily miss the driveways as they are not labeled where to turn in.

Hopefully if you host the Easter egg hunt again, there are improvements. Since the weather was rainy, it was nice to have an indoor option and we were looking forward to it. Little did we know it would be a waste of money. Maybe it would be smart/helpful to limit the amount of tickets sold per a time slot? It felt for a free-for-all. Thank you for your consideration.

Milwaukee yard hosted my daughters sixth birthday with about 15 of her friends. This was a very,very pleasant experience. The facility was clean, the staff was very respectful/helpful and everything was well organized. I personally spoke with the party coordinators Nancy and Olivia and they were very outgoing and helpful too. I’ll definitely be coming back!

After reading all of the positive reviews on MY google page I decided to do my child’s birthday at this venue. It was a little bit of a larger party so it required the staff to be attentive and organized. My experience was not very organized at all. I was told my decorator would have someone help her set up and no one came to help her because I had a decorator even though it was pre arranged and was what I paid for. My party had no forks and nothing to serve cake with. When we got to the venue we were treated poorly by the staff when asking to order more food. They were not accommodating at all. The party had to wait a little bit before being taken up to the play tower which was kind of embarrassing and the party also heard me having a hard time with the staff when trying to order more food for the party. They were not very nice to me at all. The host was great with playing with the kids but when it came to guiding the party and helping out passing out cake and pizza he stood around and never instructed anyone in the party on anything that was going to happen next. It was complete chaos and disarray and the general manager was not willing to do anything to fix the issue all I got was a “sorry.” No one at the venue even apologized to me when I told that how upset I was because of the lack of the effort on behalf of all the staff I was very stressed out. This was not the way I thought my party would go and I would never go there to have a party again and would not recommend it.

We held a birthday party for a 6-year-old at MY. We were very happy. A very well-organized, low-stress, active party location.

Olivia is the birthday party manager and handled all questions and party organization before the day of the party. She was friendly and communicative.

Theo K. was our party host- he stayed with our group the entire party, ran the field games portion, made sure the kids were all safe and having a great time, and did clean up. He was friendly, high-energy, and really on top of things. Couldn't have asked for more.

The pizza was pretty good, we ordered a fruit tray which was a decent size and very popular with our group.

I would suggest bringing a case of chilled water bottles or recommending guests bring a water bottle for parties as the kids are kept very active the whole time.

The staff was not knowledgeable, there was not enough equipment for our 18 kid party, when the parties are marketed for 20 kids, and the communication process beforehand was very poor and disorganized. We tried to go to the front desk multiple times during our party to ask questions to get help/more equipment and we were told no one knew where it was and they couldn't help us. Shift manager/lead did not check in on us during the party at all. Host was brand new, so he did the best he could, but he wasn't ready to handle 18 boys. Overall, very poor experience and would not recommend to friends or family!

Communication for a birthday party is terrible! I sent my 1st email Sunday September 10th (didn’t expect immediate response due to it being a weekend) Today is Wednesday September 27th an I’m still waiting on a follow up response. If you’re located in the area it might be easier to go in to communicate but with me being out of state I don’t have that ability. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place for a party as the communication lacks which is a red flag right away.

The Milwaukee Yard is located just off the highway. They have 2 basketball courts located on the second floor, as well as 2 artificial turf soccer fields on the 2nd floor. On the first floor there are 2 giant soccer fields that can be turned into 4 smaller fields. Although the Sideline Cafe is not yet open, you can tell they will have a lot of spots for sitting while also managing to watch your kiddo play. There is an Acceleration Sports Performance training group inside the facility as well. Acceleration has classes for kids as young as 7 yrs all the way up to adults. They've started a little kiddo soccer program called Mighty Tykes. This will be the hotspot athletic center in the area!

This review is based on BASEBALL and not the intended purpose of the facility, which is soccer and basketball. Let me start with the good. This place is absolutely perfect for soccer and basketball, the turf is brand new, and the basketball courts look amazing. The receptionist is always friendly and helpful. This will be an awesome facility when it is done. Now for the bad, if you are playing baseball, the lights and white wall background make it nearly impossible for an experienced adult to pick up a baseball, children have no chance. I will revise this review if and when they address the issues with lighting and wall color, or make a baseball specific area.
