Martha is a phenomenal trainer! She is knowledgeable and kind. she remained patient and encouraging when i didn’t make goals or wasn’t on track. she’s a great teacher and when she didn’t know some sport specific work outs she would do the research and come back ready to share what she learned. 10/10 if i ever wanted a trainer again I would go to Martha.

Martha has been an incredible coach for me and my various goals for years. From adding strength and muscle mass, to tailoring training for marathon prep, Martha has built specific programs for me to meet my goals. Her 1:1 coaching style is precise and personalized, with specific cues for my body in real time, not just standard/general cues for a given exercise. She is joyful, compassionate, and intelligent… and so damn strong, inside and out. I recommend working with her for any fitness related insight and training, regardless of your experience or goals.

I did a couple of months of personal training with Martha and she was by far the best personal trainer I've had! I've had many trainers in the past that I never really felt fully confident about but Martha made me feel confident in her knowledge for my goals. I learned a lot from her, especially how to do the exercises correctly.

She's very patient, will correct your form, and push you when she knows you can do more. I highly recommend Martha!

Martha has helped me see beyond what I thought I was capable of and is extremely supportive. Not only does she act as a trainer but also a friend as she takes time out of her day to encourage me outside of our sessions. As a fitness professional myself, it’s very important to me that the personal trainer that I choose to work with is knowledgeable, kind, and can effectively help me reach my goals. Martha is exactly that and more! I’ve worked with Martha both in private personal training and small group strength training and every single time I am in the gym with her is treated with such care and thoughtful planning. There is no doubt that Martha helps me to feel stronger physically, but she also has helped me to feel more confident overall in the gym. I can do my own workouts outside of training with her. If you have the opportunity to work with Martha, do it!

I had Martha as a trainer for a few months. I would highly recommend her as a trainer. She really takes ur input on your schedule and current level of strength.
She made routines that I would be confident in going to do on my own when I did not have a session with her. I felt my strength increase and felt it wasn’t as difficult as I had imagined.

I’ve never done any kind of personal training before and Martha has been exceeding my expectations! I look forward to every session we have together and love being able to try new exercises and feel more confident in my form and place in the gym! I’ve been working with her for a few months now and have seen good progress with the InBody assessment. Martha has been training me for ~6 months now, and she has been wonderful to work with! I agree with all the great things said about her in previous reviews: she is kind, thoughtful, dedicated, and highly knowledgeable. A couple more great things I'll add: 1) She is LGBTQ+ friendly. I am nonbinary and use they/them pronouns and can say that I've always felt comfortable around and respected by Martha. 2) She is incredibly dedicated to her clients. She makes herself accessible in between sessions via text and email for any questions/thoughts/concerns I have, which I have found very reassuring and helpful. 3) She is confident and decisive but also open-minded and always learning and keeping up-to-date on fitness research. I started experiencing some weird medical symptoms a couple months into us training together, and she has gone out of her way to understand what I'm going through, offer suggestions, and modify my workouts to accommodate my new state while still aiming for my goals. 4) Lastly, she is an athlete and fitness/health lover, and a very motivated and upbeat one at that, so it is inspiring just to be around her, and her positivity is infectious :) Overall, she's the full package, and I'm grateful I've ended up with her as my trainer!

Cannot say enough good things about working with Martha! I’ve had back problems for ~3 years and have seen multiple physical therapists, chiropractors, MDs, and trainers but nothing made a difference. The attention and care she gave to my individual needs has actually helped! First of all she really listened to me during our consultation and I feel like the plan she made really catered to my concerns and my body. Also, during my one-on-one sessions she was really knowledgeable when answering my questions. As someone who has been lifting and training for some time, and has even played semi-pro sports, it has been so refreshing to work with someone who can still give me feedback on my form and workout plan. I’ve been working with Martha for over a year, and I don’t think she could be any more perfect as a trainer.
