I take the adult ballet barre/stretch class and absolutely love it. You don’t need to have any ballet experience to take the class, but experienced dancers can still benefit from the slow movements to focus on technique and strengthening. My flexibility has improved already. Jacqueline creates a positive and empowering environment for all abilities and body types. You will work up a sweat but leave feeling relaxed. I highly recommend this class!

I love this dance studio!!! So many places have classes for kids, but next step goes beyond that and offers classes for ADULTS as well!!! ❤️ I am SO thankful for my cardio/barre class on Wednesday nights!! Jaq is incredible and REALLY gets us moving!!! They also have a yoga/stretching style adult class on Mondays that is PERFECT for MONDAY;) as everyone just needs a moment to decompress!!

Absolutely fabulous. The teachers are kind, patient, and engaging for even the littlest dancers. My daughter comes smiling out of each class. There is a solid routine but also new activities to work on different skills. I'm very impressed by the thoughtful consideration put into each class. Very worth it!

My (3 year old) daughter started taking dance classes this September. We were both so warmly welcomed by the Next Step staff and I was impressed by all of the covid safety precautions they have in place! My daughter asks me every day if it's dance class day because she loves going to Next Step so much! Highly recommend!

We've been with Next Step for 7 years now, and always loved it. From toddler "Mommy & Me" classes to now having one child in Jr. Company (and another in jazz/tap/ballet) - the dance instruction has always been excellent and fun. It's clear the staff cares for the students, and has a high standard for the instruction, the studio environment and what they want each student to take away from class. Our kids are learning discipline, responsibility, confidence and teamwork, not just dance. Additionally, the studio has handled the Covid situation with care and grace and maintained strict procedures for safety that we greatly appreciate.

Our daughter loves Next Step!

She has been going since the mommy and me class and is now in ballet and tap! This has truly helped her come out of her shell, be more comfortable and confident around kids and adults and follow instruction. She has found a passion for ballet and I love watching her light up when it’s class day!

My daughter has been taking lessons at NSDS for 4+ years and we have had a great experience. She loves Ms. Terri and has had wonderful teachers! We started at only 18 months old with a Mommy & Me class and I think they do a great job at keeping class fun and interesting for the littlest dancers!

We went to a Sparkle Day sample class with story time in the summer, and my daughter instantly was interested in the classes. She loves the ballet/tap combo and I see her practicing her tap steps often. Staff is friendly and helpful whenever we have questions. With COVID, it is nice to see temps are taken at the door and my daughter wears her mask on her own, but also has enough room in a small class to be socially distant.

My daughter has been dancing here since she was about 3 years old. She has taken everything from summer fun classes to more intensive competitive dance classes in every style they offer. She has loved dance more each year that she has been there and she continues to grow in both her skills and her confidence. Ms. Terri and her staff do a great job making each year a quality experience for the dancers, pushing them to do their best while making the studio feel like a second home to them. I am also really impressed with how they have kept the students dancing throughout quarantine and COVID -19 restrictions. Between virtual instruction offered in shut down and the efforts they have put forth to make the studio a sanitary and safe environment, I have felt like my child's health and safety is top priority. A random bonus as a parent with kids in multiple activities is that the staff has been excellent at making sure my daughter's shoes are fitted to fit her for an entire year. In nearly a decade, I have never had to buy more than one pair of shoes in a year for each type of dance. We love NSDS!

I have been dancing here for the past three years. I have had so much fun and have learned alot. Its definitely a good studio to go to if you haven't been dancing since you could walk as the teachers are very understanding.

Child missed group photos because we came and were told to come back at later time. We came back at later time (early) and were told we missed it because it was at yet a DIFFERENT time. So upset that we pay so much money for this damn class and the staff can't even be on the same page. She is so upset that she wasn't in the photo with her friends. I'm so upset myself. My younger daughter is enrolled in fall class and I'm cancelling that. It's ridiculous.

We held a ballerina dance party for my daughter here. Everything was top notch: the facility is clean and bright, they did a nice job with decorations, and the staff was fantastic. Terry and her assistant took great care of us, showed genuine interest in my daughter and provided her and her friends with a terrific time. I'll definitely recommend to friends and family.
