I’ve worked with James for a year and a half. 2 years before starting Pilates I had dislocated my shoulder and there was a noticeable difference of strength and occasional pain despite physical therapy. After working with James I rarely notice differences in strength between my two shoulders and no longer experience the daily pain I used to. James is highly knowledgeable, encourages communication, and he’s enthusiastic about what he does. He makes working out so enjoyable!

James is incredibly knowledgeable about all things fitness with a special emphasis on enjoying whatever exercise is best for you, listening to your body, and using Pilates to enhance not only fitness, but to alleviate pain cause by skeletal imbalances. James is always professional, positive and just very good at what he does and he is truly one of the kindest individuals I've ever had the privilege of knowing. Working with James virtually through the pandemic saved my sanity as well as my body as I earn a living as an RN. Sessions with James in his new studio, together with my husband and been something I look forward to every week and is a great way to "check in" with my body, and motivates me to work on my stretching and balance throughout the week. Since starting with James almost 2 years ago, the pain in my lower back cause by scoliosis has virtually disappeared through the Pilates exercises, and I'm able to continue to run long distances which is what I love doing. Balance and strength tend to diminish with age, I've found, and meeting consistently with James, together with my husband has greatly restored much of what otherwise might get lost. James provides a very balanced approach to fitness and whether you are a seasoned athlete or a novice, James' positivity, professionalism and knowledge will keep you encouraged and motivated. My life and the life of my husband has been tremendously enriched by working with James and my body, at age 57 has never felt better!
