Disappointed with message from morning staff. I've been coming to this gym for almost ten years and have never been told that I can't bring my gym bag with me when I workout. I tend to work out at 4am when there is less than 10 people in the gym.

Last week the morning staff which I've spoken to for a couple weeks stopped me as I was leaving. He said management told him to tell patrons they couldn't bring gym bags on the floor. He said I did not read the find print of the contract.

Like I said, not one manager has ever said anything to me in 10 years. Crunch Fitness down the street does not say anything to patrons carrying bags in the gym.

I carry workout attachments, towels and other misc. Not sure why it is an issue now. Maybe that is a reason why people are heading to Crunch Fitness. I have both memberships and like using both. This is unfortunate that PF talks about inclusion but has the most restrictions!!!!!

Then the owner responds that I should lock it up or leave my bag in the car. I use the equipment in my bag!! Should I go back and forth to the locker room where there are no cameras where lockers can get broken into just to swap out my equipment being used. It's not a safety issue for me since my bag is right in front of me!! I go workout at 4 in the morning!!

Not happy about how they do the annual fees. Just be careful, no matter when you signed up it be the first of the month or the last day of the month. The annual fee starts at that being of the month. And your charged the fee on the 1st of the following 2nd month even if you only had it for 31 days . Not happy about the fee.

The gym is affordable, the staff is friendly, they maintain a clean environment, and the machines are in working condition. The only problem is that they don't enforce the rules about being on your phone. People are just sitting there having phone conversations or texting while others wait for the machine to open up. Why post signs if you're not going to enforce anything.

I once had a really bad opinion and idea of what planet fitness was. I had an issue with the previous manager that originally lead me to me leaving(they were double billing me). I was able to work that out with them and get my money back but it left a sour taste in my mouth. So I joined a different gym.

After the planet fitness remodel, I decided to give them another try. I mean... the price is the best around and you don't get the rift raft you do at crunch fitness. Not gonna lie, the new staff has been outstanding. Friendly, even to the point to remembering me and welcoming me on my way in. Danni "the blue headed smurf" has been instrumental on helping me feel welcome back and has been a motivator for myself and many others. You can either catch her behind the check in/welcome desk or out of the floor keeping up with cleanliness.

This planet is my home planet gym & I haven’t gone back to this location since service worsened. I would expect a gym in Brookfield to be up to par with the Menomonee Falls, Hartford, & Pewaukee locations; but staffs are lazy—gym is a hit or miss with cleanliness, staffs are just not helpful overall. Many times, I would see staffs sitting and chatting up in the locker room, having cleaning supplies & buckets scattered all around the bathroom from the stalls to the sinks & even on the benches. Not sure how they hire and train their staffs, but clearly they need to do a better job & find more competent employees—perhaps even change their management team entirely. I stopped going to this location about a year ago & would rather make a farther drive to a planet with better service (& staff) & with a cleaner environment. Do not recommend this location. If you are closeby, Crunch and Lifetime are nearby & great alternatives!

Danni is an amazing Club Manager that upholds PF policy, she’s great with members AND staff. The Management team there upholds all PF policies as well, they know how to do their jobs. It’s deeply concerning and hypocritical for an employee to post a public review defending the locker-cutting incident while praising the facility in the same breath.

You can’t highlight a “great” gym culture while ignoring the blatant mistreatment of paying members. Leadership at this location, particularly Pang B. and the rest of the management team, clearly needs retraining before they can effectively train new hires. The lack of professionalism and accountability is obvious.

They repeatedly reference security cameras, yet only three internal staff supposedly reviewed the footage and reached a decision that feels incredibly biased. Unless they’re judging body language alone, there’s no way they could have ignored what was actually said. Because let’s be honest, telling a paying member, whose locker was cut open just two hours after arrival, to “drop their address” and “go eat their eggrolls” isn’t just unprofessional—it’s offensive, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable.

This situation doesn’t reflect isolated poor judgment; it reflects a broken internal culture at this specific location. Planet Fitness needs to take a hard look at who’s representing their brand and whether those people embody the judgment-free, respectful environment they promise.

Franchises must hold every employee accountable to these core values, especially when a paying member’s dignity and safety are compromised. In this case, an employee cut open a locker that hadn’t even been there for 24 hours. When questioned, her only explanation was, “that’s how I was trained.” No policy was cited, no empathy was shown.

What followed was not only dismissive, but alarming. When we calmly asked for her and her manager’s name to follow up the next day, the employee responded with hostility. That simple request, meant to ensure a clear understanding of policy, was met with threats and, shockingly, racismn when we asked again at the exit.

We later met with management, who admitted the employee had acted improperly. They listened, appeared apologetic, and agreed she needed retraining. But by the end of the day, we were stunned to learn we’d been banned nationwide from all Planet Fitness locations. The grounds? Being “hostile” and “racist”—an accusation that, in reality, should have been pointed inward at the employee’s behavior.

This experience is not just disappointing, it’s outrageous! A situation that began with their staff mishandling a locker policy ended with a baseless ban of loyal, respectful members. We understand that each location operates independently, and thankfully, many uphold the values Planet Fitness claims to stand for. But this franchise failed. And it raises serious questions about how consistently those values are actually enforced.

Not sure what their employee screening process is like but they seem to hire just about anyone with a pulse nowadays to sit at the desk, scan barcodes, and yell at members. It's just sad.

Staff is uneducated, out of shape, and rude. I'd recommend Anytime, LifeTime, or the YMCA to anyone who cares for their own health and happiness. Much better community and amenities.

Pretty decent location. The workers are always nice, they have lots of space to stretch and a good variety and quantity of equipment. My only negatives would be that closing at 7pm on Friday and Saturday mess with my gym schedule. 7pm is such an early time to close. Also, their Black Card Zone is poorly laid out in comparison to other locations, their massage chairs are very basic in comparison to the ones at other locations, and are positioned in a very public feeling spot. It's mildly awkward.
