Nothing but good things to say about this gym & the workers here. While I had my membership everything was so nice & even when I was having issues with my payments & cancelling due to financial reasons, the managers made it very easy to fix everything & helped me out quick, & very easily. The manager Java is beyond sweet & helpful & she alone would make me make this gym my home gym. Luckily it is down the road but I would drive out the way just to come to this specific location. I recently started working out again and using my long dormant Planet Fitness membership I hadn't used in a few years. The original home gym I went to in South Milwaukee closed and moved to Oak Creek--which is waaaay too far from where I now live. So I am over the moon that I found this location. It's clean and the equipment is well maintained (I'm so stoked to now see a hack squat and other plated press machines) and every member of staff has been friendly and welcoming every single time I stop in.

Not happy about how they do the annual fees. Just be careful, no matter when you signed up it be the first of the month or the last day of the month. The annual fee starts at that being of the month. And your charged the fee on the 1st of the following 2nd month even if you only had it for 31 days . Not happy about the fee. But the people there are nice and this is the best one around.

My girlfriend and I recently were at the Planet Fitness in Brookfield WI off of Bluemound Road, where we’ve gone for the past year now. Today has been an awful experience at the location. My girlfriend and I are pretty upset. She’s a black card member and I’ve been a guest member on her account for the past 9 months. Ever since I’ve been on her account I’ve been able to get a massage after working out, we both have the entire 8 months. We hadn’t gone to workout for 3 weeks until today, and were told by a newly hired general manager that I can’t get a massage after working out, because “black card guests can’t”. I’m really upset because then why these past 8 months was I able to and allowed to get massages by another general manager!!?? I understand every manger is different but the fact that shes new and all of a sudden “by the book” on every rule and our experience that has been a routine is all of a sudden changed for the worse under new management really changes my girlfriend and I’s perspective of the company and this location. I just feel like I should’ve still been allowed to continue to get massages as a black card guest today and in the future since I have been for so long. It’s not our fault that the past management was lenient and a lot nicer and not so “by the book on everything” I just feel it’s not fair to us as loyal customers and for what my girlfriend pays for her membership. Just the entire place has changed with a lot of the friendly past associates leaving the store. It just really bothered me as I was all of a sudden denied something I regularly got and improved my experience under previous management. Just feel super disrespected.

What a fantastic place! The staff is incredibly friendly and the gym is spotless and spacious. I visited last week early in the morning to avoid the traffic. I met a lovely lady who I believe was Ashley or Angela, and she graciously offered to help us with a few questions. She was incredibly patient and polite throughout the entire interaction. We’re considering getting a membership in a nearby gym in a couple of weeks before our upcoming winter trip back to Florida.

My friend’s very first visit at this location was ruined by a rude disrespectful, stuck up staff member. If your employees can’t show customers BASIC RESPECT in a SIMPLE 30-second interaction, that speaks volumes. Hearing about her experience was enough for me I have no interest in ever coming to this gym unless I absolutely have too. This was my first time visiting this specific Planet Fitness location & unfortunately, the very first encounter I had with the staff left me extremely disappointed.

When I came in to scan my badge, the scanner was sitting unattended behind the counter. Out of habit (and as I’ve seen & was able to do at other Planet Fitness locations), I slightly reached over to quickly scan myself in via my phone. There were 2 blonde woman behind the counter, busy speaking amongst themselves to properly greet me. Immediately though, I was met with an unnecessarily RUDE & dismissive tone. Instead of politely redirecting me, or even welcoming me in, the staff member then acknowledged me and said “UM no, excuse me, no, you scan right over here,” and then followed with, “We don’t want or need no one reaching over the counter. Ok, mhm. Thank you,” while giving me a very demeaning look as if I was doing something wrong or suspicious.

I apologized right away & acknowledged that I didn’t know the rule, but the attitude I received was UNCALLED for and took me off guard. A simple “hey you scan over here” would’ve been JUST fine. Trust me there is nothing behind that counter I had any interest in!!
As a paying member, I expect professionalism and courtesy. Instead, the tone, attitude, and dismissiveness really bothered me for the rest of my visit and throughout my entire workout. A first impression sets the tone, and this one unfortunately left me questioning if I even want to return to this location. AND IF I DO , I sincerely hope that staff member has the damn SENSE to SPEAK with basic respect for HER own sake. It’ll be good for her. Thank you. Unfortunately , I didn’t get this employees name but she was a white woman. Blonde straight shoulder length hair with a VERY stank face. There was another white woman with her hair in a ponytail behind the counter I believe, but she didn’t say or do anything. I will be letting every one I know be made aware of this rude encounter at this specific location so they can beware of this hostile, rude energy from this specific employee. I’m hoping management gets that situated somehow .

I go to the PF on Bluemound by Brookfield Square and one of the employees, Java is the sweetest, friendliest people there. Most of the other employees are courteous and friendly too but Java just stands out. New employees should take customer service lessons from her especially the manager on first shift. Not my membership location but the staff was very helpful on my recent visits. The site is huge (max. capacity 297!) and very well organized. Many machines for all types workouts and that seem well maintained. This club is very clean down to every corner. The locker room (mens) was also large, clean and finely organized with possibly the greatest stall showers in WI! Will absolutely return when in this area.

This gym is decent if you're looking for cardio machines and assisted weights. There are no deadlifts or free weight areas, and machine options are limited. The hours are convenient. $25/month for the black card which includes the ability to bring a guest and use the massage chairs.

I recently brought a guest who wanted to try the hydro chair. After about two minutes, a staff member abruptly turned it off without any warning or explanation beforehand. We had both checked in at the desk together, so it would’ve been easy to mention the rule then. Even a polite heads-up afterward would’ve been better. The way it was handled felt unnecessarily rude and left a bad impression. Weekday 230 P.M.

Having memberships here and also Lifetime Fitness, I can say PF is the overall winner. The egos of the personal training staff and attitudes of the rest of the staff at LF are terrible. The equipment at PF is absolutely perfect. They are constantly cleaning, and a simple "good morning" and "have a great day" by the Planet Fitness staff go a long way. 25+ years of gym memberships I can say Planet Fitness gets it and is the best deal in town. I'm an over the road truck driver, and my teammate and I drove our truck put of the way, a good distance to work out and shower at what we thought was the ONLY Planet Fitness, anywhere in the area, that was open 24hrs, only to find that they are closed, at 10:30pm, on Saturday evening. They look open. All the lights, tvs and computers are on. It looks like you can walk right in and workout, but nope, the door is locked.

After we found the door locked, we checked reviews and found that, not only had that already been a problem for someone else, but the gym is aware, and have not made the effort to correct it on Google. This is not only inconvenient, it is costly for people, in time, fuel, and for some of us, opportunity to make other arrangements. This could be prevented. UPDATE THE HOURS ON YOUR GOOGLE LISTING!!

Weekends are the time a gym ought to be open longer, when a lot of people actually have time to get out and workout. I'm disappointed with PF's everywhere for no longer being a place we can count on. Some of us don't have a neat little work schedule, like others. Now we are left with no place to shower unless we can manage to get there super early in the evening to be done by 7pm!!

PF is becoming more and more of a hassle and disappointment, across the nation, when you need them. Membership has gone up and availability has gone down.

This is the most spacious gym I’ve seen in the U.S. Feels like I’ve hit up at least 25 gyms by now. Staff is awesome. Tons of open space, plenty of air. Equipment’s solid—everything works. Young woman would not let me in because I didn’t have my card . Finally , a young man came asked for my phone number and found my membership account . Later after a very brief, horrible, shower ,finally hot water that got very hot then no other choice but cold . While rushing to get dressed , and leave, the young man screamed into the loacker room , three times, that they were closing , and I had to leave . I said I was rushing . Meanwhile , my hair is wet and it is very cold and windy outside.and I had to leave w wet hair , I still had time , but was not allowed to quickly blow dry my hair . On my way out , I was told not to come back there again , I said I will go back to the PF in Greenfield even though I live in NB ! They were laughing the whole time .
Another young woman was rushed out and a young man had to leave , go outside to put
his jacket on . We were all kicked out very rudely by the two very young nasty employees. . Then she couldn’t get the door locked , I drove away , not sure if she ever did . Employees should not expect to leave their workplace the moment they close , that does not happen anywhere . I will call tomorrow to speak with a manager .

This is false advertising. I have contacted various PF clubs in my area. I’ve been told that PF does NOT offer group training with professional trainers.

The front desk staff are incredibly unprofessional. They need training in how to treat the members. The reason I left my former gym and joined PF (I have the black card membership), was for the group workouts. I have not even been to PF yet, but will probably cancel my membership.

My Planet Fitness “membership” was acquired from Xperience July 2023 when they sold to PF. I have never stepped foot into a planet fitness since then until 8/2/24 when I came in to cancel my membership. I was told by an associate the morning of 8/2/24 that Justin, the manager, would be there from 8am-4pm that day and it would be best for me to come in during that time to cancel my membership with him and get a refund for the last 13 months, equating to $584.78. I went into this Brookfield south location at 2PM on 8/2/24 expecting Justin to be there and well into most of his shift as an associate told me he would be earlier that morning. He was not there. I advised by the associate working at the front desk that if I gave him my phone number he would have Justin call me when he got in later that day. I left my information. Never got a call.

Next day, 8/3/25 I called at ~10am and Justin was the one who answered the phone. I told him my story and reason for the call. He said he would take care of cancelling my account and putting in a refund request but I may not hear anything for ~10 days.

8/13/24 comes along. I call back and tell Justin I hadn’t heard anything still. His response “oh that’s weird”. He said he’d follow up with his boss and he’d email me. He took down my email address. I received no email.

I called again, yesterday 8/21/24 - Justin answers again. I tell him at this point I am getting really frustrated that I have heard nothing and his lack of follow thru is extremely unprofessional. He said he apologized but tbh seemed shocked at my accusation 🙄 like I had no right to be upset. He said he would call his boss right now and get an update for me and call me back within an hour. Again, I received no call back.
Here we are today, 8/22/24 and another monthly payment was taken out of my account. I called yet again, and Justin answered and he just seemed thoroughly confused on who I was and why I was calling and why a payment would have came out. I told him I didn’t know why either since you told me you were going to cancel it on the 3rd, he was more confused about the processing date saying our payments come out on the 17th not 22nd and I said well it’s there on my account today regardless and they have always came out between the 22nd and 24th. AND EITHER WAY THE ACCOUNT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELED ON THE 3RD. He said oh yeah your account says active. So I asked him, so what did you do on the 3rd when o asked you to cancel my account and process a refund for the last 13months? He couldn’t answer me.
I am so over this. I know what it is like to be in management and even more so be short staffed and overworked and overwhelmed while in management but I still do anything I can to make customer know I am trying my hardest to make them happy. And there is absolutely no reason or justification for this treatment. Justin seemed to not care in the slightest if my issue was resolved or not. I’m sure he assumed I would just give up on trying to get a refund but no. That’s now $629.72 that planet fitness owes me and I am now being advised by my lawyer to consider legal action regarding this matter as Xperience never had permission to sell my account in the first place and yes I have my agreement from them that she’s currently reviewing.
I will be continuing to call every day until I get my refund, so Justin next time I call, I hope you are just a little bit more competent and remember why I am calling.

This is a new location. My 2nd time coming. Really nice. Very clean. Lots of equip. But i won't be back. Unlike a lot of other ppl that come here, i use the showers. I brought this up 2 the ppl at the front desk the last time i was here, but honestly idk who i should complain 2. The shower hooks r on the outside of the showers. I know we're in Brookfield. But ppl steal everywhere. The hooks should be on the inside of the shower. That may seem trivial to some ppl, but that's how i decide if a planet is worth going back to. Won't be back unless that's changed. There's other great planets that have them inside. I'll be goin 2 1 if those.

Don't like the atmosphere as much as the YMCA...It's much cheaper though monthly fee $10.00 & annual $49.00. The YMCA is $54.00 per month.

This place is huge! All the equipment is laid out perfectly with plenty of room between machines. I went on a Saturday for a quick workout with a coworker and we ended up staying for two hours.

Amazing layout. Plenty of space for you to workout without being overcrowded. Night crew is always cleaning which is amazing. Though there is a small trio that come at night that hangs out often and never wipe their equipments. Cleanliness is a huge thing for me but I just mind my own business.

First time going to this gym yes it brand new sunday evening only one staff member very kind and welcoming,can see they are trained very well. Looking forward to coming back this week.If I could rate it out of 10 it would be a 10
