Really was hoping to give a higher rating once the reno was done and returned a few days a week. I picked up another gym membership but there are a few machines I really like at PF. That being said, place looks awesome but could they have replaced the machines that were and still are chronically broken? Went to PF in FL 2.5 years ago and machines/weights were updated, definitely not what is here. I was told this place was 3rd busiest in state at that time. Tilting on an
uneven machine while lifting weight is not a good time. Staff and cleanliness are always 5 stars.

A little upset with the remodel. There’s little to no dead space to workout without equipment. Seems like they brought in more machines in the stretching and free weight area which wasn’t needed. The dead space they do have now is full of mirrors.

At Planet Fitness, Caesar was the manager—once beloved, now feared. He had built the gym into a thriving empire, but power had changed him. Rules grew stricter, prices rose, and the gym became less about community, more about Caesar’s control. Brutus, his trusted assistant manager, had long supported him. But as Caesar’s grip tightened, Brutus saw the spirit of the gym slipping away. Members were unhappy. Staff felt powerless. Something had to be done.
In secret, Brutus met with other assistants. “Caesar’s forgotten who this gym is for,” he said. “It’s time we take it back.”
The plan was set.
During a busy afternoon, Caesar entered his office to review the day’s numbers. Brutus followed.
“You’ve gone too far, Caesar,” Brutus said calmly. “The gym isn’t yours alone—it belongs to everyone.”
Caesar scoffed. “Without me, there is no gym.”
But Brutus wasn’t alone. Other assistants appeared behind him.
With a final nod, Brutus locked the system, revoked Caesar’s access, and removed him from power.
The reign was over.
The gym floor buzzed with renewed energy. Caesar was gone. And under Brutus, Planet Fitness returned to its roots: a place for the people.

Hear ye, hear ye! Gather 'round, good peasants, warriors, and treadmilling townsfolk, for I shall regale thee with the most gallant tale ever told in the scrolls of cardio and creatine. ‘Tis the legend of Reece, the Valiant Assistant Manager of Planet Fitness, who didst save his kingdom—the gym— from an unspeakable evil: Ralgar the Mutant Raccoon, scourge of the elliptical realms and defiler of vending machines.
Long ago, in a less-glorious time—Wednesday around 3:47 PM—an ordinary trash panda named Randy scavenged behind the local Walmart in the hamlet of Squatfordshire. In his gluttony, Randy stumbled upon a forgotten can of shrimp cocktail, glowing a sickly green, labeled “Not For Human, Animal, or Mortal Consumption”.
But did Randy heed the warning?
Nay.
He devoured the shrimp. In that moment, the shrimp fused with his essence, and he transformed into Ralgar the Ravager, a bipedal beast with protein-shaker-sized biceps, glowing red eyes, and a hatred for all things gainful and toned. His sole goal? To destroy the Planet Fitness across the street, the one thing that reminded him of the body he could have had if he hadn’t spent his days raiding dumpsters and watching late-night episodes of “Raccoons Gone Wild.”
It was Leg Day at Planet Fitness. Dumbbells clanged like the swords of dwarves. Lunks grunted beneath their burdens (though not too loudly, lest the Lunk Alarm be triggered). And amid the rows of treadmills and sacred smith machine, stood Reece—chiseled of chin, blessed with the might of management and the patience of a thousand late-cancelling members.
Suddenly, the gym shook as though struck by a thousand sweaty people climbing stairmasters. The doors burst open in a shower of protein bars, and there he stood: Ralgar, frothing with pre-workout rage, wielding a mop as a flail, wearing the shredded remnants of a Walmart vest like a battle tunic.
“Ye shalt not shred today!” he roared, leaping onto a treadmill, setting it to 12.0 incline, and launching it into beast mode.
Panic spread. Patrons screamed. One poor soul was trapped beneath a tipped-over rowing machine. Another tried to offer Ralgar a guest pass, only to be flung into the squat rack with great indignity.
But Reece? Reece tightened his Planet Fitness polo, adjusted his staff badge of justice, and rose.
Reece strode forth, armed with a foam roller of righteousness and the Squeegee of Destiny, forged in the fires of ancient doughnut and pizza heater.
“Ralgar,” Reece bellowed, his voice echoing across the locker rooms, “Thou shalt not disrupt thine 30min Circuit area nor plunder thy cooler sanctum!”
The raccoon screeched, his tail glowing with mutant fury, and charged.
CLASH! Foam met fur. Mop met mop. Squeegee met sadness.
They battled ‘cross the abs and stretching fields, dodging kettlebells like morning emails. Ralgar hurled medicine balls like fireballs, but Reece ducked, dodged, dipped, dived, and dodged again.
He lured the beast into the Stretching Cage of Solace, where raccoons dare not linger due to their weak core flexibility.
And there, with a mighty lunge-to-reverse-lunge combo, Reece unleashed the finishing blow: The Burpee of Banishment.
Thwap! Thwack! Wheeze!
Ralgar fell, defeated, stuck in a stability ball he tried to use as cover. “Curse you, noble Reece,” he muttered, “If only... I had tried... Pilates...”
The Aftermath
The gym cheered. The treadmills resumed their endless journey to nowhere. A man in cargo shorts renewed his membership out of pure admiration.
Reece, his polo only slightly stained, hoisted the Golden Spray Bottle high.
“Planet Fitness shall remain judgment-free... and raccoon-free!”
Bards composed songs of his heroism. He was promoted to Assistant Manager Level 2, granted access to the Forbidden Staff Fridge, and awarded one free Gatorade per full moon.
And thus, whenever the wind howls through the locker room vents and the Lunk Alarm echoes in the night, remember:
Reece the Righteous still watches.
Protector of pumps. Guardian of glutes.
Savior of our sacred squat sanctuary.
