Great staff, great equipment, great price. One issue: females are allowed to wear outfits way more revealing than a Hooter's server. Having lived in LA, the most superficial city out there, for 90% of my life, I can tell you that I have never been to a gym there that would allow females to workout wearing these clothes, or lack of clothes. I'm not big on dress codes but walking around with your boobs and butt hanging out is not a good look, especially in Wisconsin if you catch my drift.

Ive been going to the Pewaukee location for a while now and I have noticed one employee is particularly friendly. Nehemiah is always asking me how I’m doing and greeting me every time I come in the gym. I have also noticed that he is very helpful to all the guests that ask questions while working out. He truly enjoys his job and excels at fostering a positive workout environment for all the guests. Great job Nehemiah!

Overall a nice and clean gym, I usually come late at night and its very peaceful. I am a blackcard member so I would like to use massage chairs, water beds, etc. Im usually there for an hour and sometimes I don’t see the worker at all and I’m not really sure how to contact them to use one of the beds/massagers.

The hot water situation at this club is terrible. You often end up having to take a very cold shower after working out. Has been this way for weeks/months.

This location normally has very friendly workers that work there. A manager names Oscar was filling in today. He is extremely rude and I do not know how he is even a manager.

First of all, I went to get on a machine that he had walked away from and he said go to a different machine I am cleaning that. He just got done dusting it and walked away from it so I thought he was done. He said it in extremely rude voice.

He then proceeded to follow me and yell at me about wiping off the machines telling me he is going to kick me out of I did not wipe down the machine. There were several other people in the gym that have not wiped down their machine either but he focused on staring at me the whole time I was working out making me feel very uncomfortable. He told me swear causes sanitary issues. However, when I went ok n the restroom there was poop on seat of toilet and back and toilets that had pee on them and looked like they have not been cleaned. The maxi pads were also hanging out of a holder of the metal dispenser . I told him that instead of dusting the Machines he should clean the bathroom because that to me is very sanitary.

I am extremely disappointed in this manager. I think he needs to be taught about how to treat customers and customer service. All the other people that work there are extremely nice and make me feel very welcomed. I been at this location for years and never had a problem before.

It's a wonderful gym, with plenty of equipment for cardio, or weight training. Although there are no free barbells, there are 4 smith machines which would suffice for most weight training, along with a wide range of dumbbells. Plus the regular machines for isolation training.
There are dedicated areas for different kinds of training, including stretching, and a quick workout. There are also plenty of massage chairs, hydro massage beds, and total body enhancement rooms. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a good place for regular workouts.

I have been a member of Planet Fitness Pewaukee since 2022, and unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating due to continuous billing issues. In 2024, my account was reactivated using old records from my previous Experience Fitness membership, which resulted in me being overcharged by $77.47. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue, nothing has been done, and I continue to be overcharged.

Here’s a timeline of the contacts I've made to address this problem:

7/28: Spoke with Alphonso by phone and met with Natalie in person the same day.
9/8: Spoke with Ryan by phone and emailed the Pewaukee location.
9/16, 9/19, 9/26: Emailed the Pewaukee location multiple times with no resolution.
9/30: Met with Ryan in person again, yet the issue remains unresolved.
As of today, I was overcharged again for my monthly membership. This ongoing issue has been incredibly frustrating, and it’s clear that Planet Fitness cannot be trusted to handle billing matters properly. I just want a refund of the overcharged amount, and I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability and customer service.

This is my go to gym but what really got me was the fact i accidentally left my Coach Make Up bag in the locker room one day and it was still there the next day. Um? I love my community? This place is always clean? The people are nice and obviously trustworthy? And the staff? So cool. I don’t recommend you keep designer bag family heirlooms unattended in any locker but this place is obviously top notch. I flip flop between wearing a niqab and less modest clothing (if I need to because I’m trying to avoid heat stroke) and no one has ever harassed me or question me about it unlike other places I’ve been. The club is great. It's clean, the machines work, and the staff are all pleasant. However, I've been promised a refund for being overcharged for months for my black membership, and I haven't seen the refund that was promised to me by Reuben, a fill-in manager from Tuscon, AZ. No one has any answers, I can't get a hold of anyone because "there is no regional manager". No one who works here knows who owns the Pewaukee club. It's not the employees fault, they've been nothing but pleasant, but I'm owed money that was taken from me in error and it exceeds $100.00. It's extremely poor ownership to have not had this resolved, then continue to give me the run-around because no one at this club knows of a person to go to, to resolve this issue. I need someone to contact me who can resolve this issue.

I wouldn't recommend getting your membership here in Pewaukee. I only go here because it's closest to my house. If you want a membership, please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, because if you have a serious issue, no one here can help you. God forbid you need to cancel--they'll probably just keep charging you because there's no one who can deal with account issues.

I am an early riser, there by 5am M-Friday. The front desk staff is welcoming, courtesy, and respectful. All of the workout areas, locker rooms/bathrooms, and machines are extremely clean and maintained. The gym members are all there for one thing that early in the morning and that is to get the morning grind done. I was doing group fitness for 6 years prior to Planet Fitness, it took me awhile to get used to it, but now I absolutely love it!

I usually go to the Planet Fitness in Brookfield on Capitol Dr. This one, however, is closer to my work & gives me more time to get my work out in.

After doing some comparisons, a few observations:
This PF is cleaner overall and better maintained. Haven't been going here long, but the bathrooms & the cleaning stations always seem to be stocked. The locker rooms are VERY nice here. Beautiful décor, I love the lighting being dimmer than the gym floor is, it's easier on the eyes. There are way more lockers available and the gym itself has newer equipment. The only downside I can see to this location is that they do not have as much equipment as the Brookfield location, due to space. Which honestly is fine because not a ton of people are here and those who are, are respectful of others and do not take up multiple machines at a time. I think this will be my permanent gym!
