Really nice gym. The size, equipment, rain showers, and overall experience was awesome. I travel a lot and every where i go i visit planet fitness to stay in shape. This was one of the best locations I have experienced in terms of facility, equipment, and the overall appeal. Great staff as well. Very clean, and well kept. Very diverse and a nice vibe in Milwaukee.

I have to give a shoutout to MAHD who makes the experience coming the best every time my friend (who I know made another review) and I come in. He helps us out with any questions, super friendly with any interaction we have with him and has made it easy to ask any of the dumb questions we may have. So I thank you MAHD for being you! There is a few other people we deal with when we come in that I will gladly write a review for that also make coming in the best. It’s because of these great employees I will keep coming in to this location. 💜

Since I can’t leave another one for a new team member you guys have at your west allis location I’m adding to this one. Matt has been a great addition to the staff at this location. He brings positivity and enthusiasm when you first walk in always greets with a smile and very respectful. He has been very helpful with any questions I may have had about any equipment and quick to help with anything that needed to be fixed. Unfortunately the tanning area was a disaster, like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. The front desk customer service agent didn’t seem to care about his job, yawning in people’s faces. Overall just a mediocre establishment.

I like the variety and number of equipment, the vibe, the cleanliness, I like the one I go to the equipment is all new. I was pleasantly surprised I had always gone to more serious type gyms before. I thought the variety wasn't going to be good or the vibe would be a bunch of people standing around not serious about working out. I went as a guest with my girlfriend to be supportive of her fitness goals. I liked Planet Fitness and going with my girlfriend, we've been keeping consistent with each other's little pushes. I decided to get a membership to Planet Fitness myself. Great job on the gym. Like I said I was surprised. Only thing I would like to be different is Friday and Saturday to have later hours. Not a big deal though. It pushes us to get our workouts done earlier or take an off day or two. Im enjoying my experience with Planet Fitness. Sincerely, Steve

Strange treatment from staff. I asked the girl at the counter if I could tan. She asked my number and if I had goggles which is normal. However, she looked at the control box and said to me that the booth was dirty and turned and opened the cabinet behind her, grabbed a towel and handed it to me while telling me to go wipe it down and then when I’m done wipe it down again. Guess that’s what you get when you have a Black Card and you’re a senior citizen. I never have been treated like that at Planet Fitness before or any other gym.

So, just as the local employee told me to do her job, you’re telling me to do yours! If my concerns are not valid enough for you to contact your club why are you reading and responding to these reviews? If you’re really saddened maybe real customer service is warranted and you can contact the club and tell your employee to participate in some training and guide them in the proper way to treat paying members. The club in question is the one this review is for. The employee in question is the one you scheduled for at 5:00PM August 30, 2025. The cameras in which you view to check on the club employees will show you what you need to know regarding this review. I have wasted enough time on this review.

Overall I had a great time at planet fitness got my workout needed until at the end of my workout a worker by the name Tito was in the women’s locker room. I was absolutely terrified and invaded of my privacy !! He was trying to hit on a 17 year old little girl and luckily I walked in when I did. HE SAID HE WAS 23 !!!!!!!

I appreciate the consistency and predictability of the amenities across the different locations. It’s easy to check-in; I never have to wait for the machines since there are so many options. The three locations I go to in the Milwaukee/Waukesha county areas are so clean!

Is a nice size! Even when busy it doesn’t seem crowded. Plenty of machines so there is rarely a wait to get on the machines. Little to no wait for tanning as well. Love the lockers with the built in locks. Needs the large ceiling fans like other locations. Nothing currently circulating the air. Staff can be meh. But over all good gym for the price!

Way too many cardio and treadmill machines. They haven’t caught on that it isn’t the 90’s anymore. What is in demand is definitely weight training. Cardio takes up 1/3 of the space so between 3pm-8pm you can’t get access to most weight training machines because it’s jam packed in there but half of the treadmills and all of the exercise bikes and 2/3 of the ellipticals are empty. I get that this gym isn’t marketed for serious bodybuilding and more general fitness but come on. Really frustrating not to be able to complete a workout because all weight training machines/ cables/free weights are in use while seeing tons of unused cardio equipment sit there.

Agree with the person that said they can swap 1 of the abductor machines for something else like a bent knee calf raise or another leg press or cable machine. A bent knee calf would be nice since they don’t have one of those.

If you’re not going to have more weight training machines then expand your Saturday night hours so folks can go outside of peak time to get a full workout in.

Planet Fitness has the WORST STAFF ever this has been an ongoing issue they pick and choose who they allow in with or without a pass and when I have and PAY EVERY month for so quick to take that payment of black card membership they gave me issues bringing someone WHICH IAM ALLOW TO but let people who don’t have that card walk in with whoever. Today 6/23/25 worker at the desk a man we asked for the massage chairs he had a whole attitude doing his jobs didn’t turn them on had to go back up to the desk to ask again he curse us out told us we don’t know how to communicate this is beyond unprofessional and I will gladly take my business somewhere else this is so ashamed you have signs how to treat others how this place is supposed to be run yet your staff can’t even run it horrible ! Worst management team and staff here. I will never be coming back to this location again if this how it’s going to be run I will be ending my membership.

I usually never write reviews but I had the worst experience with the staff and the manager here. I locked my stuff in one of the lockers like usual but when I was leaving I couldn’t get the locker to open. It was stuck for some reason so I went up to the manager while there was another employee standing next to her and I asked if they could help me open the locker. They told me to go wait and they’ll be there in a couple of minutes. I waited in the locker room for 20 minutes while in a rush to leave and i received no help. I went back out to see if anyone was coming and no did. I went up to a different employee and asked him for help. He told me he’ll be there in a second and continued to do some other tasks while watching me wait for him. I am still waiting for help as I write this. It has been 30 minutes. Very frustrated and disappointed with the staff here. Planet Fitness has to do better.

Small but they did what they could with the space. Biggest disappointment is lack of variety of machines. None of the ellipticals can be adjusted for incline, which is usually a key feature of elliptical machines. You can only adjust for resistance, so I’m getting shorted on range of motion there.

No seated calf machine that targets the soleus (bent knee) but it was advertised in the app as a recently added.

TV’s are on but no captions so we can’t understand what they are saying while listening to music. It’s also warmer than an average gym in there so you start sweating after only a few minutes working out.

I will say that so far staff has been friendly and professional but I will update this if that changes. Gym culture is pretty good with most people wiping down machines regularly, are considerate of others and no gym intimidation.

If they can sacrifice just one of the 4 hip adductor/abductor machines (never seen all 4 used at once) for one bent knee calf machine, turn up the AC just a few degrees and add some standing incline adjustable cardio machines that would be a good improvement.

The gym is an incredibly clean and well-maintained place with plenty of space to work out comfortably. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with any questions. I have been a member of Planet Fitness for years and recently started going to the planet fitness in West Allis on 68th St. I normally go to the Brookfield location. I can honestly say that both locations are exceptionally clean, and there is no lack of equipment. I would like to give a special commendation to Cordell at the West Allis location who not only opened doors for me, but was friendly, helpful and is an exceptional asset for Planet Fitness. It’s a nice large gym, all the equipment is new at this time. My only suggestion, they have many televisions, but I would like them to turn on captions. When I work out at the other gym, the captions are on and it makes it easy for me to understand what’s happening on the television while I’m on the treadmill. I'm happy that they've finally opened. It was worth the wait. Compared to the 108th or Brookfield locations, this gym is bigger. I love how the equipment syncs with my Apple Watch, eliminating the need to manually log my workouts. Sunny, who works at the front desk, is very friendly. Typically, after a workout, I opt for a hydro massage, but I accidentally discovered a pod bed called Relaxed Space, which is quite impressive. Planet Fitness deserves thanks for prioritizing both physical and mental health. I'm impressed. Given the gym's proximity to my home, I no longer have any excuses.
