Tried going to a class but no one showed up. We were standing outside in the rain with a locked door and no number to call. So disappointing!

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a yoga community to join. Port Washington Yoga’s CEO, Founder, Yogi and all around radiant being, Laura Motel couldn’t be more welcoming and caring. She makes you feel right at home. Her classes are fun, thoughtful, and the right amount of challenge. Left feeling wonderful. So much gratitude. 🙏🏻 namaste

Port Washington Yoga is hands down the most fun, creative, and welcoming yoga studio I’ve ever experienced! Dr. Laura and her team have completely reimagined what yoga can be — and I absolutely love it.
This is not your typical “quiet, serious” yoga space (unless you want it to be). It’s out-of-the-box thinking at its best. Where else can you find Pirate Yoga (yes, my husband actually went — and had a blast), Baby Goat Yoga (pure joy, I was laughing and stretching at the same time), and TunesDay Yoga (music, movement, and fun all rolled into one)?
The energy here is contagious, the creativity is endless, and the community is so warm and supportive. Whether you’re a total beginner or have been practicing for years, you’ll feel right at home — and probably laugh more than you expected during a yoga class.
If you’re even thinking about trying it, do yourself a favor and go. You’ll leave with a smile, sore abs (from both the poses AND the laughter), and a whole new outlook on what yoga can be.
Dr. Laura and her team have truly created something magical here. 🌟

This is the most FUN place in Port!!! Who would have every thought someone could make the pain of Yoga enjoyable, well they have…. You can plank and take shots, sing along with your favorite songs on Tuesday nights, snuggle baby animals.!!! And the bathroom is the best in the world, lol….

Loved Laura’s energy! Great flow. You can tell she knows what she is doing. Calming voice. Challenging poses- you can extend on what she suggests. Smaller classes, personal attention. Nice ointment temple rub at Shivasana. Two thumbs up!!

Love this new studio, with great remodels that added fantastic sound to the space. I’ve gone to 4 different sessions (3 yoga 1 meditation) and they were all adaptable, accessible, and encouraging. I’m looking for flexibility and mental calm and Laura and her staff deliver on both!

I am thrilled about this beautiful, new studio in Port! As a "very new to yoga" student, I was understandably nervous at my first class. However, Laura went out of her way to make the whole experience welcoming, fun, encouraging, and relaxing -- all at the same time. Nothing about it was intimidating, which I loved! Every staff member and student I've interacted with has been so very friendly. In addition, the space feels so calm and it is well put together. It is a wonderful new addition to our little town!

I attended the open house and instantly connected with the space. The sunlight streaming through the windows and the vibrant energy exuded by Laura and her team filled the room with warmth and vitality. I admire Laura’s innovative touches like the gibboard and amethyst Biomat, which add unique elements to the space. I haven’t participated in a class yet, but I am looking forward to some “me” time - joining a meditation class and taking a walk around the lake close by.

Great experience! The teachers are wonderful and meet you where you are while listening to concerns you may have. Very beginner friendly! The massages were also really great and they listen to clients who request target areas.

Great to see a full time studio in town. You enter via the stairs on Pier Street, go to second floor and check in at 204, then across the hall at 208 is the studio.
