I have been a member of Razor Sharp Gym for 24 years, off and on. I have gone to other fitness gyms, around the area, but have always came back to Razor. They have everything you could ask for…an awesome selection of equipment, a pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub and more!! I have been working with my personal trainer there for a little over a year now and I can truly say, I am in the BEST shape of my life (now 55). The trainers and staff there make me feel like family, from the moment I am greeted at the door.
Razor Sharp has become my home away from home and I will never switch to another gym ever again.

You can really tell the owners care about this gym—it shows in the variety of equipment, different rooms, helpful resources, and top-notch amenities. This place truly has everything you need, and you won’t regret joining. I’m currently training with Freddy Sosa, and he alone deserves a 100/10. That’s how great he is!

Bad start! I am a new member however when I get to the location to work out the door is locked and no staff available! I paid my dues and just want to get what I paid for. I called a location 20 mins away from this one and actually got an answer. I was told I could work out there however this location is convenient hence why it was chosen. This is unacceptable and unheard of. A simple barcode for new members until they get a card could’ve changed this entire outcome. I am hopeful that this is resolved soon or I will be finding a new gym.

UPDATE: This was handled with haste. I appreciate the response time Razor Sharp provided with my issue. Gym was clean. Great equipment provided. Great atmosphere. Thanks guys!

Really disappointed in Razor I’ve been a member for years when I signed up I asked specifically if we could bring our child and they told me that it was fine as long as they’re not causing a disturbance. I never had an issue and staff was always pleasant! A year later I have my second and now they’re kicking me out!! Yet I always see kids at both locations including infants I’m so confused and so disappointed! I’m going to have to cancel and look for a new gym!

I have had the pleasure of working with my personal trainer Tyler Vela at Razor Sharp Fitness for the past couple months. I had a spinal fusion in 2024, went through physical therapy and was looking to continue working on strengthening my body and working on my weight loss goals. Tyler worked closely with my PT therapist to know my history and come up with a plan for me.
We worked twice a week for an hour each time. He made sure to challenge me enough to make me push myself harder each time. He always asked how I was feeling, this way if I were having any issues with a body part, he would adjust my workout so I wouldn't injure myself.
I keep a log of my body measurements, after the first month of training with Tyler I lost over 10 total inches! How incredibly proud we both were of that!
Instead of just joining the gym and working out blindly, I chose to invest in a personal trainer to guide me. I have since joined Razor Sharp Fitness and workout on my own, but know that Tyler is there if I need to check in our help me adjust my routine.

Gyms scare the crap out of me. I am at my unhealthiest that I have ever been. I walked in to Razor sharp to see if I could do. That was in January. Now…I’m doing it. Three days a week with Paige and going on my own. It’s hard as hell but I’m doing it. Everyone at the gym is positive and welcoming. It’s great. I even started a pool class and hoping to gain strength and maybe even lose some weight. Highly recommend Razor Sharp.

if you are considering joining this gym, take the time to read the reviews before joining. They have too many hidden fees and find ways to generate revenue. When you have been told an account is cancelled and you should no longer be charged, they find ways still charge you. Poor service with negligent and rude staff. Do not recommend this club at all

The equipment is terrible the chains are so old one broke while I was doing weighted pull ups and smashed my foot. I sent them an email about it and they didn't respond. They don't have any benching bars they only have pulling barbells. This means that the ends of the barbells spin so much that it is dangerous to bench because you can lose grip and snap your wrists. I told an employee and they didn't do anything.
They never answer the phone when I call. Its actually ridiculous how little they care about the gym.

Not very happy they are threatening me about sending me to collections. The hours they are open is horrible. They need to keep pool and hot tub and gym open till at least 10 pm every day. I have a membership that is pretty expensive and I can only use it 4 days a week because they close at 3 on weekends and 8 on fridays so because of work i can only go Monday through Thursday. Also they need to clean better, the nice showers always have things left behind and the steam room smells like a dirty jockstrap and b.o. they need to have workers clean more. So for the most expensive gym in town not worth the money.

June 22nd, arrived at 3:45pm at Erie st. And found out the gym is closing at 4:00m, my fault did not check in. June 23rd, arrived at 2:00pm , note on the door indicate that gym will be open from 4:pm till 8:00pm. No info via email or text to members of Erie st. This is clearly poor communication by the owners and management of the club. Do we have to call every morning to find out what are the business hours?

Small but suitable. This gym lacks the amenities of it larger main location such as basketball court, pools, running track , etc... It is open 24/7 and attendance is usually just a handful of regulars. Never more than a one person wait for any machine.
