We were here for a gymnastics meet (not regular classes), and the facilities were very nice. The gym itself is big and spacious with plenty of seating for spectators, and the large windows make the whole space feel open and bright. Parking was easy with more than enough spots, which is a huge plus for events like this. Overall, it was a great experience attending here.

Two weeks ago. My 7 year old daughter was in Level 2 Rec Gymnastics with Miss Lily. At the beginning of class, the students were instructed to walk in a line to the large area where they were going to review fire drill procedures. As my daughter was walking, a student in front of her decided to not follow directions and did a cartwheel. My daughter was kicked in the jaw by the student in front of her resulting in a lump on her jaw, a large bruise, and a chipped tooth. The instructor watched all of this take place and offered my daughter an ice pack. She never offered to get me from the lobby or address the student who did not follow instructions and caused this injury. My daughter showed her the part of her tooth that had come out. The instructor responded with, "Is that a really a tooth, because kids make up things?" and "If so, it doesn't matter because it is not a permanent tooth." At the end of the class period, Miss Lily led the students out into the lobby, watched the students walk to their parents, and never addressed the situation with myself, the parents of the student who injured my daughter, or the front desk, with whom she needed to file an accident report if she were following protocol. I did not learn of this injury until my daughter and I arrived home and she told me she had a story to share with me and something to show me. When paying $100 a month and sending my daughter into the care of an "instructor" for an hour, I expect that person to uphold the standards of a teacher. Not only did I deserve for her to find me in the lobby immediately after the accident occurred, but at the least, when the class ended. She also should have made the other student's parent aware, so this situation could be resolved. I reached out to Scamps' front desk as soon as my daughter told me what happened and after I examined her bruise, lump, and chipped tooth. The secretary said that the incident was mishandled, but there was nothing that could be done until later because Miss Lily had two other classes that evening. So, rather than remove an instructor that did not follow protocol, she was allowed to supervise two more classes of gymnasts. I finally received a call from Miss Lilly around 8 in the evening. She told me she didn't know how to handle the situation because kids always end up "just fine," and she thought my daughter was okay because she rejoined the group. She said she never thought about contacting me or even realized that an incident report would need to be filled out. I asked her to speak to her supervisor. I did receive a phone call the previous day from the Scamps' supervisor. She was very curt and wanted to know why I needed to speak to her. I shared my frustration with my daughter being led by a poorly trained instructor and also the frustration that our family would now be faced with a dental bill to fix her cracked tooth. Scamps refused to take any responsibility for the situation because as she stated, "we sign a waiver." I was very aware of the waiver, and signed it realizing that they were not liable if my daughter was hurt doing exercises or using equipment, but did not realize that it also encompassed my daughter being hurt at the hands of another student behaving poorly. She told me that their legal team would be in contact with me, and upon speaking with them, they felt that the parents of the other student would be responsible for this injury. They reviewed video of the accident occurring and shared it with me as well. The events happened just as stated by my daughter. The legal team reached out to the other family involved and shared the video of the incident as well. Although the other family admits that their daughter did cause this to occur, they were angry to hear about it from the legal team, rather than the instructor, and are refusing to pay for my daughter's dental work. This unfortunate situation, in which we find ourselves, could have all been avoided if the poorly trained instructor had spoken to both parties involved at the occurrence of the situation.

How the 5 yr old class is being ran allowing bullying like it being co Ed and pushing and hitting to happen now? It takes two for any given situation as both should be corrected by the teachers not just one. Why isn't there space as you did not see or hear the teachers correctly intervening the situation? I am able to have proof for my daughter sake for her own protection as she is paid to go their to get proper socialization now to help her with her disadvantages.

It's mainly a class of girls and one boy now as boys nevermind place their hands on girls now neither. My daughter doesn't want to go to gymnastics due to what is being allowed and only herself getting corrected unlike the other now. What if this individual hurt my daughter as there isn't liability or accountability in this matter? My daughter didn't place her hands on him and in addition is able to protect her body having etiquette and knowledge she doesn't place her hands on anyone although she isn't a pushing or punching bag neither or should be bullied creating mental health issues now.

The teachers said oh we will separate them although from observing it doesn't look like they made a effort, but allowing it then separate them now or place either of them in a different spot to calm down. I saw the boy cutting her pushing her egging the situation like my daughter not retaliating now. When you have children within this program from CLTS, fairness like discrimination should be there and discrimination shouldn't have been involved in this given situation.

There is training to help these teachers with these kids to not create this situation now, and hurt my daughter feelings in tears like seen on camera now and boy didn't get a consequence for his behaviors. Excuses can be given although it reflects the parenting of the boy now not just mine advocating for my daughter appropriately by us leaving now. CLTS pays for my daughter to go now and they have been properly informed with the accuracy in the truth. You don't want to lose clients as it's called losing revenue and money to keep this business running and helps aid paying the employees and help the business to remain open. I understand why my daughter doesn't want to go to gymnastics and why she makes the excuses now to us not wanting to go now and find another actual activity.

For T&T had one of the best coach Kevin. My child and my family love him! He made the T&T team work. He help my child get her back handspring when she was four and Coach Kevin does what best for the kids. I would only put my kid in T&T team at Scamps while Coach Kevin was there. They do have some other amazing coaches like Coache Sarah who help my child ,we just loved her. If you think to put your kid here first make for sure that the have the staff to teach your kid. This is not dig at any of the staff. It is a big nice gym, but the way lately management has been handling things the gym has not been up to par. And a review two years ago my rating for them would of been 10 Stars if I could. Last year I give it five stars. This year it has dropped drastically. Due to management not be upfront with us about our kids.
Wherever you send your kid you need to make for sure that the staff coach is supportive of your child and helping them with their goals. And lately the way they've been handling things just not so hopefully they do better so they can get their ratings back up to being back to one of the best gyms. So if you do send your kid here I hope you get someone like Sarah who is amazing .

My daughters enjoy doing gymnastics and tumbling here. Youngest really loved the pre-school gym and had so much fun. Learning more in the regular gym now and getting good exercise.
