I could not be happier about my experience at Spring Pilates with Brooke. Her teaching was top-notch, and she offered options for my limitations, and even was able to adapt the equipment for my unique needs. I have spent decades trying to get help from physical therapist and doctors, and most of them shrug their shoulders at me and tell me they don’t know how to help me - but in one session, I already feel a difference in my body, and I can tell that this is what I need!!

I am so grateful for a Pilates studio that focuses so diligently on form and posture, and utilizes the equipment 100% of the class time. I am so impressed and I will definitely be back.

Love love love this studio and community! Several years ago I added weekly private sessions to my exercise routine and it has been literally life-changing! My core strength & flexibility have improved dramatically despite getting older. And discovering the mind-body connection has given me a deep appreciation for what my body can do!! The instructors are amazing - I can't say enough good things about Kelsey ❤️

Brooke is an incredibly knowledgeable Pilates Instructor with a wonderful eye for detail! I learned a lot from working with her in one session. (I was only here for a day). She has a wonderfully engaging personality and even though I was working hard for the entire session, the fun factor was present the whole time! The studio is clean and well appointed. If I am this way again, I’ll definitely be returning!! Thank you Brooke for a wonderful session!!

Benefits of my Pilates practice at Spring - Pilates for Life:
I appreciate the positive changes in my body’s capacity and in my outlook for adapting to complex life challenges. The full body awareness and engagement that a well-guided Pilates practice helps develop have supported an integrated body and calmer base for harmony of emotion and thoughts to help formulate my responses in life.

I started taking a variety of Pilates classes at Spring in December 2023, and I'm so happy that I did. Classes are small, so each person gets individual instruction as needed, the instructors are a lot of fun and very kind, and the studio has top-notch equipment. I'd recommend Spring Pilates to anyone looking to improve their overall fitness level.

I've been practicing here for three years. The teachers are super skilled, caring people and the approach to practice has been incredibly supportive in helping me tease out the muscles I need to support myself (and get stronger in adaptive ways) from those stress-happy muscle groups that like to take over. Highly recommend!

Spring Pilates has very knowledgeable instructors and a wide selection of classes. Private instruction has been so great for structural issues I have had/or currently have. I particularly love the CoreAlign equipment and classes. I would highly suggest that you try a class or private session.

Highly recommend the classes and private instruction here. Top quality instructors and a great mix of classes throughout the week. I started classes here as a total beginner and there were great options for getting started. Now I’ve been taking classes for over 5 years and there are plenty of classes for people with Pilates experience. I also find the classes to be fun and challenging with such a supportive atmosphere.

I have been going to Spring since 2020 and have taken individual and group classes, all of which have been fantastic. Instructors are very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They also explain the underlying reason and muscles involved in each exercise which is very important to me. Pilates has helped me with posture, back pain, and balance. I highly recommend SPRING if you are serious about Pilates!

A wonderful resource for healthy exercise to improve fitness while reducing the chances of injury.

In our experience, Pilates on Harrison has been very useful and enjoyable in several ways.

There are several instructors focusing on various forms of exercise to improve mobility, flexibility and strength – very important for those of us farther along on the age graph. We have been doing guided exercise classes remotely. Our main focus is on classes led by Scott – a smart, funny and engaging guy with decades of experience teaching yoga, which has evolved to include a creative mix of Pilates, western fitness, mindfulness and meditation. That might sound like a hodge-podge mixture, but it is a well integrated and enjoyable combination. Scott’s classes are live via YouTube (we can see and hear him, but he can’t see or hear us – although we can send comments or questions via chat which he will address at the end of each session). One favorite class is Mindful Cardio – about 30 minutes of warm-up and cardio (heart rate monitor recommended to get “in the zone”), then about 15 minutes of guided exercises and 10 of guided meditation – for me, a great way to start the day (3 days a week).

When schedules don’t align, we can replay classes from the video library at any time with unlimited replays. The library includes regular classes and some series focused on select topics, such as “Trashed Knees” within the “Pilates for Old Jocks” area – which my spouse found useful while preparing for knee replacement surgery.

I’m sure all the instructors are well qualified - and there are additional classes that might appeal to other interests. Our monthly subscription gives us access to all the remote classes we choose and the library of recorded sessions at a very reasonable cost. We highly recommend Pilates on Harrison.

Pilates on Harrison has been my exercise salvation throughout the COVID pandemic. I had been taking private sessions using Pilates equipment at the studio for many months until the studio had to close. Almost immediately it offered a wide range of regular online mat classes seven days a week. There are about ten instructors—each with a distinctive teaching style and all of them inspiring. There’s an opportunity to interact with the teachers live at the beginning and end of classes, most of which are on Zoom. Not only does it offer great classes online daily, but there’s a video library of all the classes that “monthly subscribers” can access anytime. I love the convenience of Zoom classes with first-rate instructors and will stick with Pilates on Harrison as long as it offers them.

I love Pilates on Harrison! I've taken classes there for 6 years (including on-line during Covid). They have a small staff who are well trained and are good teachers. Some classes (especially on-line) go beyond Pilates to aerobic training, weight training, yoga-inspired movement and meditation. It's a good mix. The in-studio Pilates classes are limited to 4, so it's wise to sign up in advance!

I was completely new to Pilates one year ago and chose Pilates on Harrison after recommendations by several people. I had a lot of physical problems and have been in and out of PT for years. Being a newbie I was very intimidated but found everyone there to be very welcoming. I can tell you that working with Julia Rymut has given me my life back. She truly understands the body and its mechanics, has been excellent at making modifications and accommodating my special needs/injuries. Every session with Julia I walk out in less pain than I walked in with. I am feeling stronger every week and cannot believe how far I have come. I have never taken a class-only private sessions-but those I see coming in for classes as I am leaving seem excited to be there.
